The Omen

Kai makes his way into the north kingdom. He sees that the kingdom has an asian theme to the buildings and colors.

Kai: This is what Jaik, Zuri, and Az got to see.

Beast: This is the north kingdom.

Kai: Who is the king now that we beat EOL?

Beast: Why don't you go see?

Kai travels through the streets seeing demons and humans. Kai travels to the palace doors, and walks inside. Kai sees a throne with an old man sitting on it. This old man is wearing a tan colored trench coat, with a suit on under it. He has pale skin, grey hair, and glasses.

Kai: Spellbook?

Spellbook: Kai? How dare you come here after you killed my little brother?!

Kai: I can explain. EOL was trying to destroy the world. There were a thousand of him there, and there was nothing I could do to save one good EOL.

Spellbook: Not only have you killed my brother, but now that he is dead I have had to stop keeping demons in hell, and rule over this kingdom. I am guessing you're here because Demons are now leaving.

Kai: I am, but i need your army to do it.

Spellbook chuckles.

Spellbook: No. I'm not letting you lead my army to fight Beelzebub's men.

Kai: You tried to stop demons from leaving Hell. Are you just going to give up on that?! Your just going to let all that go because now you're ruling a kingdom.

Spellbook: Fine, but just sending my army into someone else's territory is suicide. You're going to have to do something to turn the tides.

Kai: What do I have to get?

Spellbook: You're going to need to get explosives.

Kai: Where?

Spellbook: You'll have to meet a demon, and they will show you how to get the explosives. Here.

Spellbook hands Kai a piece of paper with a name on it.

Kai: Is this the name of the demon?

Spellbook: The name of the place where the demon is. Don't come back here without the explosives.

Kai leaves the palace, and looks at the card. The card says "Demon Deals."

Kai: How am I even going to find this place?

Kai goes into one of the north kingdoms bars, and asks the demon waiter about the name.

Waiter: Demon Deals, huh? That place is in the outskirts. You're not going to find it in the kingdom.

Kai sighs.

Kai: Alright, thank you.

Kai leaves the bar, and walks out of the north kingdom.

Beast: You should have an idea of where you're going before you walk off.

Kai: Just tell me where it is!

Beast: Southwest.

Kai: I have to go all the way back to the south kingdom?!

Beast: No, walk southwest of where you are.

Kai: Thank god.

Beast: Thank me.

Kai walks until he finds a broken down house with a sign saying "Dem_n D_als."

Kai: I think it's missing a couple of letters.

Kai looks on the ground to see an O and E laying there.

Kai: Ghetto.

Kai walks into the building. When he pushes the door a little bit it creeks as it flings open. Kai sees a small girl staring back at him.

Kai: You're the one running the shop.

Miscreant: Who'd you expect? I didn't think you would come back for a deal so soon. What do you need? Another soul coin perhaps?

Kai: Explosives.

Miscreant: That's much harder than a soul coin. How many?

Kai: How much can they explode?

Miscreant: Oh, you need a lot. You should know how this works. I'll do something for you if you do something for me.

Kai: What do you want?

Miscreant: I owe Asmodeus a debt. Go to him, and do whatever you can to help repay it.

Kai: You sound scared. What do you owe him?

Miscreant: It doesn't matter what. It matters how much. Now leave me so I can get your explosives.

Kai: Wait, where is he?

Miscreant: He should be in the north kingdom soon. Just wait at the gate.

Kai leaves miscreant, and goes back to the north kingdom. Kai then just leans against the gate near the entrance. Eventually Asmodeus walks through the gate soaked in blood.

Kai: Is that human or demon blood, jeez?

Asmodeus stops walking.

Asmodeus: Both.

Kai: I'm here on Miscreants orders to pay you back.

Asmodeus: You have my soul coins?

Kai: No, but she wanted me to pay you back any way I can.

Asmodeus turns around, and walks close to Kai.

Asmodeus: How could you help me?

Kai: I don't know. That's why I'm here. So that you can tell me what I need to do.

Asmodeus: Hm, I like you. Your coming with me.

Asmodeus walks out the gate he just came in.

Kai: We're leaving the kingdom?

Asmodeus: What are we going to do in the kingdom?

Kai: Get you a shower.

Asmodeus: No.

They both start walking. Once they get far enough away from everything they stop.

Kai: There's nothing here.

Asmodeus: I know. So no one can see what we're doing.

Kai: Are you going to kill me?

Asmodeus: For what I am about to make you do, you wish.

Asmodeus takes out his giant weapon. Then he slashes in the air which cuts the air opening a breach in the dimensions.

Asmodeus: Watch.

Asmodeus tries to stick his hand through the portal, but the portal gets blocked off by some unknown red barrier.

Asmodeus: Only you can go through this portal.

Kai: Where is the portal to?

Asmodeus: The nightmare realm. I want you to go in there and get me the ring of illusion.

Kai: What does this nightmare dimension entail?

Asmodeus: Your worst nightmares come to life. They can't hurt you, but they will try everything to scare you. Time works differently there so you can only stare there for about 30 minutes at most or you'll be trapped there. It's where souls go when someone has a nightmare. Once the nightmare is over your souls go back to your body. Walk around, and find the ring of illusion. Once you get it Kamaitachi will alert me, and I'll open the portal to leave.

Kai: Alright.

Kai jumps through the portal.

Asmodeus: Be prepared for the hardest struggle you have ever had to deal with.

Kai is sitting in his house. Cal is in the kitchen facing away from Kai. Kai can hear him chopping something.

Kai: Cal, I'm the one who cooks. We both know you suck at cooking.

Kai walks over to Cal, and puts his hand on Cal's shoulder. Cal turns around, and his eyes are blood red. Blood is running down his face from his eyes. His teeth are stained with blood. Kai looks down to see what Cal was chopping to see Cal was chopping his fingers off.

Cal: AAAAHHHH!

Cal screeches, and takes out a blood sword. Kai suddenly has a staff in his hands, and he starts blocking Cal's strikes.

Cal: I'm going to kill everyone you love!

Cal starts to look sick like he is going to throw up. Then Cal pukes blood all over Kai. As Cal pukes up blood, bats come out of his mouth and swarm Kai. Everything goes dark, and Kai wakes up in a hospital. Natalie walks in with pitch black eyes.

Natalie: Patient 13. Oo, unlucky number. Looks like your problem is maggots.

Kai: What?!

Kai looks over at his right arm, and maggots are crawling in and out of his arm. He can feel them wiggling around in his arm.

Kai: AHHHH!

Natalie: Shhhh.

She puts her finger over Kai's mouth.

Natalie: The doctors in. I just have to get you ready for him.

Natalie wraps a compression wrap around Kai's right arm, and then puts duct tape over Kai's mouth. An old doctor walks in. The doctors covered in blood.

Doctor: Maggots? Don't worry. I just treated a guy with maggots. He died, but I have practice now. All we need is this special worm.

The doctor takes a worm, and drops it on Kai's right arm. The worm eats its way into Kai's skin, and starts eating Kai's right arm along with the maggots.

Doctor: That's a maggot eating worm. It should do the job.

Kai can feel the maggots and the worm moving around in his arm as they eat up his flesh.

Kai: AHHHH!

Kai screams through the duck tape.

Doctor: Is the worm eating you too? They always go rogue. That's how the other guy died. Only one thing do to.

The doctor picks up a saw, and starts sawing Kai's arm off at the ball joint.

Kai: AHHHH!

Doctor: This will just take a second.

Kai feels the saw as it rubs against Kai's bone, slowly cutting it. The noises of the saw rubbing against the bone make Kai want to puke. Then Kai's arm falls off, and hits the ground. The maggots and worms eat themselves out of Kai's arm.

Doctor: Next you said you wanted your body tested on. We're going to put you to sleep for that one.

The doctor takes Kai's duck tape off. Then he puts a mask on Kai, and Kai slowly falls asleep breathing in the gas. Kai opens his eyes to the loud crack of two swords hitting each other. Kai is now holding a sword, and Luna's blade is locked with his. Luna is covered with blood. There is a circle of ninja around them that are also covered in blood. They are in new york, and there are dead bodies everywhere.

Kai: You killed everyone for what?

Luna: Justice!

Luna changes into Ra's.

Ra's: Join me Kai. Murder is the only way!

Kai: Never!

Ra's: Then I'll not only kill everyone, but destroy everything with a tornado!

A tornado appears, and Kai feels the wind slap against his face. Kai puts his arms in front of his face, and soon he feels like he is falling. He looks down to see he is falling to Lian Yu. Kai sees he doesn't have a parachute on. Kai then falls to the ground, and slams into the ground. Kai gets up from the ground. Slade Wilson appears, and stabs Kai in the back. Kai coughs up blood, and falls to the ground. Kai wakes up in a cell, and Slade looks to be guarding the cell.

Kai: I need to get out of here!

Slade: And?

Kai: I needed to do something, what was it?

Kai hears a faint whisper.

Beast: The ring.

Kai: I need to get the ring of illusions!

Slade: Hm, alright then.

Slade opens up the gate, and leads Kai to the other side of Lian yu. They both walk into a cave where a ring is on a pedestal. Kai picks up the ring, and turns around. Slade has become some green creature. The green being looks like a lizard person. It opens its mouth and hisses. When it opens its mouth it has a long purple tongue, and teeth. The creature has claws, and looks to be somewhat slouched over. Kai blinks and the creature appears behind Kai.

Beast: Inkanyamba!

The creature speaks in a snake like voice

Inkanyamba: Leave my realm KAMAITACHI!

Inkanyamba goes to cut Kai in half with his claws, but a portal appears in front of Kai, and Kai jumps in it. Kai reappears in Hell. Asmodeus is standing right in front of him. Kai brings his hand out slowly and drops the ring in Asmodeus's hand.

Asmodeus: Was it that bad? You were only in there for a minute.

Kai: That felt way longer than a minute.

Beast: You would have been in there longer, but Inkanyamba found you quick. You wouldn't have gone to that prison if Inkanyamba never found you.

Kai: I'm lucky he found me.

Asmodeus: What?

Kai: Nothing. Your welcome.

Asmodeus: Consider the debt paid.

Asmodeus walks off.

Kai: Time to get the explosives and quick this plan into high gear.
