How’s it going down?
The rock dragon looks down on Kai and roars again.
Kai: Fuck.
Kai starts running, and the dragon opens its large jaw. A fire like none other comes out of the dragon's mouth after Kai. Kai jumps to the side dodging the fire breath. The dragon shoots more flames out of its mouth. Kai hides behind one of the large rocks as the fire slams against the front of the rock.
Kai: All I need to do is grab a stone. Unless I can beat him.
Beast: That dragon is Belphegor. He's as strong as the leviathan. The only reason you're not dead yet is he's lazy.
Kai: So grab a rock and run.
Beast: Yes.
Kai goes to break off a part of the rock.
Beast: Dont even try.
Kai slams his staff against the rock hoping to break a piece off, and the staff bounces off the rock.
Beast: Those rocks are almost unbreakable. The rocks you're looking for are behind Belphegor. They have a light red glow to them. Those rocks can be pulled out of the ground.
Kai: Yeah, but I have to get past the fire breathing dragon.
Kai runs out from behind the rock. The dragon shoots fire at him, and Kai spins his staff blocking it. Belphegor stops the fire, and stands tall.
Belphegor: Why are you here pity human?
Kai holds his staff to his side.
Kai: I need one of the rocks that are behind you.
Belphegor: But I collect these rocks.
Belphegor moves his head close to Kai staring at Kai with one glowing red eye.
Belphegor: I have killed many travelers. From demons to Angels to humans. It doesn't matter who gains the courage to come here. I have slaughtered millions without breaking a sweat. Now I'm going to ask you one question. Do you really want to steal from a dragon?
Kai: I didn't even know you were here. I just want a rock. If you wanted to give me a rock that would be great.
Belphegor yawns and then goes back to laying on the rocks.
Belphegor: If you want a rock you should just take it Kamaitachi. You're too tiring to deal with.
Belphegor shuts his eyes and camouflages his body to the rocks. Beast takes over Kai's body.
Beast(Kai): Belphegor, we need to have a chat.
Belphegor opens one eye. Later Kai leaves the rock area. Beast has left his body and Kai is holding a glowing red rock.
Jaik: You did it. I'm surprised.
Kai: It wasn't really me.
James: It doesn't matter. Now that we have the rock we can take out Mammon.
They travel back to their little base. James leaves the camp to scout out the east kingdom. Jaik is using the rock to create an arrow head as Kai watches.
Kai: It really is good seeing you again Jaik.
Jaik: Kai, why are you in Hell?
Kai: Just a quick visit.
Jaik: Yeah, the man who had a chat with Satan the last time we were both here. You're on a mission, aren't you?
Kai: Demons have figured out how to leave Hell. They have had to put up with so much of the archangel's shit that there at their breaking point. I need to shut down their exit before they start destroying the multiverse. They are stronger than almost everyone on earth, and there are unlimited demons here. That's my mission. What's yours?
Jaik: After Zuri killed me I was hoping to go to Heaven with her, but in my heart I knew I was going to Hell. When I ended up here I wasn't surprised, but my mind just couldn't take it. I died at least a hundred times just walking around, and everytime I would just get back up. Eventually I found this kingdom. Mammon took me in, and gave me a bow. He wanted me to be a soldier. Doing whatever he said gave me purpose. I always had a mission, and I didn't question it. Whether it was to kill someone or not.
Kai: I know what you mean. I spent years with A.R.G.U.S doing the same thing. Once you get in that cycle it's hard to get out because your always looking for a purpose. Something to do all the time.
Jaik: Soon I couldn't even recall how much time I spent doing missions. Like time moves differently here.
Kai: It does. This place is outside of time. So to track how long you have been here would be impossible.
Jaik: I tried to get a sense of reality back, but it was just mission after mission. Until James found me. He saved my squad and me from being captured by demons. He showed me that Mammon wasn't a good guy. He was a dictator and a greedy king. Ever since then I have been working with him to take down Mammon.
Kai: It seems like you found a new purpose.
Jaik: I guess I have.
Kai puts his hand on Jaik's shoulder.
Kai: Zuri would be proud.
Jaik: Thanks Kai. If you're jumping through realities all the time you might see her. Here.
Jaik passes Kai a letter.
Jaik: Give this to her if you ever see her.
Kai: You trust me with this?
Jaik: I do. You've been a good friend for years now Kai. Plus, who else am I going to give it to..
Jaik finishes the arrow head, and makes the arrow. Then James comes back.
Jaik: It's time.
They all travel to the east kingdom. Jaik grapples to the top of the wall, and James flies Kai up to the top.
Jaik: What's the plan James?
James: We're going to run along the walls, and then Jaik is going to sit at the top of the palace. Kai and I will walk in the front door, and start battling the guards. While Mammon's distracted you'll take the shot.
Jaik: Alright.
Kai: Got it.
James: Go!
They all start running across the wall. Soon Jaik splits from the group. Kai and James both knock out the guards at the palace door with one punch. Then they push the giant doors open, and walk inside.
Mammon: The one that got away. Did you bring food?!
Kai: No.
James: We're here to take you down.
Mammon starts laughing.
Mammon: Take me down?! How are you gonna do that?
James: Fist to cuffs. Mono e mono.
Mammon keeps laughing, and then stops with a serious look on his face.
Mammon: GUARDS!
Ten guards come out with spears. Kai and James easily take them all out quickly.
Mammon: Dumb guards. Useless. They are better waiters then protectors.
Guards walk through the palace door, and surround Kai and James. Mammon finally gets up from the seat, and Kai walks forward. Mammon walks towards Kai.
Mammon: AAAAAHHHH!
Mammon runs at Kai very slowly flailing his arms.
Kai punches Mammon in the face, and then runs behind him. Kai elbows him in the back, and then in the side. Kai just keeps circling around him, and hitting Mammon before he can react. Eventually the pain makes Mammon kneel.
Mammon: Enough with this!
Kai jumps back.
Mammon: It's time to go beast mode-
Jaik falls down from the ceiling with his leg attached to a rope. Hanging there he quickly draws an arrow, and shoots Mammon right in the chest with the glowing arrow.
Mammon: What is this arro-
Mammon falls to the ground. Jaik unhooks himself from the rope, and lands on the ground. The guard kneel to them.
Guard: He was the worst king we ever had. He was going to lead us to our doom.
Kai: Well then I guess you have two new kings that can lead you away from that doom.
Kai looks at James and Jaik. Later that day in the middle of the kingdom James and Jaik are crowned the kings of the east kingdom. After the ceremony Jaik and Kai meet at the gate of the East kingdom.
Jaik: Leaving so soon?
Kai: I'm glad your mission to take down Mammon is over, but my mission is still up and running. There is even someone specific that I need to take down.
Jaik: Who?
Kai: The man who brought me here, Entity.
Jaik: I thought Satan brought you here.
Kai: No, I'm just helping him. I'll see you around Jaik.
Jaik: Yeah, see ya,
They shake hands before leaving. Kai walks away. When Kai looks at his hand after the handshake he sees a soul coin.
Beast: When are we gonna have a moment?
Kai(in head): Don't be stupid.
Beast starts laughing.
