Mistake, betrayals and Round 2
"Why would you believe him?" Shadow Cat yelled punching the wall beside him. "Why didn't you come to me? Why didn't you warn me?" "Because I was mad, he had gotten in my head. I figured you wouldn't fail, you never had, and if for any chance you did then I would be there for her and we could finally be together.
Randy made me believe that this was my chance. When I realized I had been stupid to believe him it was too late, she gave me the letter, I found out she was pregnant and Randy would not back out. Then when I got the video I, I went crazy.
I went there to confront him but he said that she deserved it. That she hurt him. I am not sure what had happened or what she had done but he was pissed. I told him that we had a deal that he lied and I would kill him and that's when he shot me okay? I couldn't do anything he shot me before I could. That was it.
But you know what while you are standing there blaming me how about you stop and blame yourself. I tried to warn you. I told you not to let her go. I told you if you really loved her you to stay with her. I told you she would be in danger but you didn't listen. You said she would be safer if you weren't around and I believed you!" AJ now yelled really upset not thinking of the pain it would cause him after.
Shadow Cat knew AJ was being truthful. If he had only kept her by his side, she would still be here with him she would be safe. If only they had stayed in the island, they could have been safe and happy. How could he had been so stupid.
Yes, AJ betrayed him but if he was being honest, he understood him perfectly. He was not mad because if he had been in AJ spot, he would have done exactly the same. But of course, he wouldn't say that.
"You should have came to me, you should have been honest since the beginning." Shadow stated softly. "Yes. I should have but Randy was so convincing it took me until the moment he took her that I noticed how badly I had messed up. That's when I realized that neither one of you could live without each other. That you would die for her, which is more than I would've done.
Then when I watched the video, I realized she loved you with the same passion, she is willing to die for you as well. I was so stupid I should have said no, I should have died to protect both you and her but I was a coward. I-I know the punishment to my actions, I know betrayal is punishable by death and I deserve it. I- I am ready." AJ continued his voice cracking.
"I am not going to kill you AJ" Shadow answered making AJ look at him immediately. "I understand you; I understand that you love her, I also know about Randy's abilities. I will forgive you AJ as long as you tell me what I need to know to find her. I forgive you AJ but know that we will never be like we were before." AJ nodded as he understood what I was trying to say.
"Do you know where she is?" Michael asked. "Yes, the old fortune club in the mountain" "No we went there and it was empty" "He is there he may be hiding? That is where we met that is where he shot me."
"Underground! They have to be underground. I remember walking in one day and seeing it absolutely empty but then he appeared out of nowhere. There a secret passage." AJ spoke like he was 100% sure. Shadow Cat nodded. "Get some rest we will go check it out." Shadow answered then proceeded to turn to Michael. "Get the men ready we leave in 10"
-Marie's POV-
Round 2? Does that mean more torture, more cuts, and bruises? It has only been a few hours since the last time. Oh God help me I am not ready to die yet. I can hear a lot of noise outside. First it was AJ and Katy arguing, and now I can hear him giving orders. He is coming for me again. My body trembles as I can hear the footsteps get closer. I am still in so much pain from the before the cuts are still bleeding and now it will all start again. I don't think I am going to last much longer.
Shadow, AJ, someone, please help me. No, no, no I can hear him getting closer to the door. Not a second later the door flies open. I look towards the open door to see Randy and two other men enter the room. Randy gives me a malicious grin before sending the men for me. The two man had guns placed in the hem of their pants but before they came towards me Randy spoke.
"Careful there she is a fighter" Randy says as the men take his words as orders to and pull out their guns and point them towards me. At this point I know if I try to run I am as good as dead. Maybe if I don't fight it, if I don't speak, and just take the torture they will still let me live. "Listen up sweetheart, there has been a change of plans." Randy spoke and before I could comprehend what he is saying I felt a sharp sting on the side of my neck.
I look towards the side I felt the sting on and see one of the men holding a syringe. It was not even 15 seconds after I to feel drowsy and my eyes completely close.
