Disrespect, confrontation, and a new fight

Michael froze causing Shadow Cat to smirk but only for a second as a frown replace his smirk as he remembered Marie. "She was innocent man. I fell for her I had been in love with her since I was a child. Yes it is true I wanted to leave but it was not because she asked me to but because I love her. I would have and would do anything for her and you knew that didn't you? But even then you didn't care. You left her in the arms of worst enemy."

Shadow was hurt by his brother's actions. He couldn't understand why he would have left Marie there to get killed and by their worst enemy. "I did what a leader would do. I protected the gang. Her life is not worth the many lives that would have been lost trying to rescue her. Her life was not worth all the bloodshed" Michael replied. His words shot like daggers through Shadow's heart.

"Their! Their lives not just hers. She is pregnant Michael. She is carrying my child, your nephew!" Michael stared in confusion. This was new information. He had no idea Marie was pregnant with Shadow's child. At this point Shadow cat was beyond angry so he continued speaking with no regrets. "And a leader? You are no leader you are a coward.

We both know you never had what it took to lead the gang and that is because you were never meant to. I placed you there, I gave you that spot did you forget big brother? I made you the leader, I taught you the role, I gave you my spot and this is how you repay me? By letting our worst enemy put his hands on the love of my life and kid? You are no leader!" Shadow speaked abruptly.

Michael looked at Shadow in disbelief. He did it, he told them the truth. Shadow Cat had embarrassed him in front of the whole gang and now he would never have their respect. Michael could not allow this. Anger now filled both of the men as they stood straight neither one backing down. Things would surely not end well.

Finally finding the words Michael spoke again "maybe so, you might have put me in this spot but I have come to earn it. I made us bigger and stronger than we ever was before. Where would you have gotten us? You were willing to leave the gang for some girl and yet you deserve to be a leader?"

Shadow Cat glared at Michael. Evil transmitted from his eyes. "Yes, I would have. So what? That's why I let you be the leader in the first place because I didn't want it. I am not scared to admit it. My plans were never to leave the gang at the time but after I realized my place was with her. So maybe you should have let me leave with her instead of putting her and my child in danger. Maybe then you wouldn't have to stand here angry.

I regret nothing. I would do anything for her even if it means I would leave the gang." Shadow spoke with no regret. He didn't care who knew. He loved Marie and after this is all said and done and if they were still alive, he would not make the same mistake twice. He would take Marie and run.

"You should have killed her" Michel spat out. "Fuck you!" Shadow yelled back. "I am your leader and you will respect and treat me as such!" Michael yelled over him as if he was trying to put him in his place. Shadow chuckled as if Michael's words were nothing but a joke to him. "Were" Shadow said with a smirk "you were my leader."

Michael stood straighter as if he was trying to show dominance. "I am your leader and will continue being the leader for a really long time" Michael said trying to sound confident but he only earned laughter from both Shadow Cat and AJ.

AJ knew exactly what his best friend means and boy did he love it. Truth be told he always hated Michael and this was certainly a breather.
