A crucial mistake

"Do what you must" Katy told Shadow Cat while turning and walking away from Randy. "Michael get her to safety and then make the call" Shadow ordered. Michael then grabbed Katy's hand and lead her out of the room. Shadow Cat waited till Katy was out of the room before proceeding.

"Where is Marie?" Shadow asked picking Randy up from the floor by the collar of his shirt. Shadow Cat was infuriated when Randy responded with a smirk. "As if I would tell you."

Shadow Cat was feeling on edge. He was sick of dealing with Randy, ever since Randy had come across his path, he has been nothing but a pest, a pest he would soon get rid of. He already had a feeling Randy would refuse to talk but he was starting to really irritate him. The nerve of this guy. He was just beaten senselessly and even then; he was a cocky bastard. But that was fine, if Randy wouldn't talk then he would kill him and keep searching.

A pissed off Shadow Cat dropped Randy on his knees and punched him in the face. He silently winced in pain as he hurt his own shoulder by doing so. "Don't you see it. You already lost, and soon your soldiers will be mine, so I order you to tell me where Marie is!" Shadow yelled grabbing the collar of Randy's shirt again.

Everyone knew the rule of all rules, if a leader of a rival gang takes down the other leader their gang become his. Shadow Cat had him in the palm of his hands now all he needed was Marie. Easy right?

Randy let out a weak laugh. "Order me? My gang is now yours?" He laughed again upsetting Shadow Cat even more. "If that's so then why are the gangs still fighting?" Shadow was taken back by his question. In frustration he punched Randy in the face once again dropping him to his side. Blood dripped from his mouth; he was sure Randy would soon die due to the lack of blood but somehow, he was still putting up a fight just like Shadow.

"What do you mean?" Shadow asks genuinely wondering the answer himself. He held his shoulder as he felt an extreme pain cause by his last punch. Randy might receive hard hits but Shadow Cat was still receiving the short end of the stick due to the bullet in his shoulder.

Each move he made caused him more pain as the wound got worse and worse making the bleeding heavier and causing Shadow to lose a great amount of blood. But it will all be worth it when he finds Marie and finally hold her in his arms. If he died soon after it wouldn't matter, not as long as his love and child were safe.

"It means you got the wrong man!" Randy managed to yell out. "You are lying! Tell me where Marie is!" Shadow Cat was sure Randy was trying to trick him. He refused to believe there was someone else. That does not make sense. Who else could it be? Shadow Cat knew he had hundreds of enemies but none as powerful as Randy.

"No, sorry Shadow Cat but you have been played." Randy barely responded. "What? Who? Where is Marie?" Shadow attempted to question but was interrupted when the sound of a gun going off was heard from behind him. Shadow Cat had been too distracted to see someone enter the room. He closed his eyes preparing for impact but shot them back open in fear as he heard a female scream right after.

"MARIE!!!"
