... Fuck you in particular

'Well, shit,' Six thought as he skulked closer to the door, 'It must be my lucky day.'

.

As he did so, he made sure not to make a sound. Once he was close enough to the door to touch the door handle, Six dashed back. His shoes softly scraped the ground as he did so. His instincts screamed at him that if he had touched the door, he would have been a mess on the wall.

.

"This is Six, come in," Six whispered into his communicator.

"What is it?" The voice of Nighteye came through.

"They've been tipped off," Six told him. "Hold off on the raid until my go, I can retrieve Eri and disable Overhaul in one fell swoop."

"Very well, on your go," Nighteye spoke back as Six got to work.

.

In a matter of moments, Six had planted several C4 charges down both sides of the halls. Far enough away that they'll serve as a distraction while being close enough to cause some damage. Once they were armed and ready, Six primed the C4 and stood opposite the door.

.

"Get ready," Six communicated.

"We're in position," Nighteye responded.

"3...2...1... GO!" Six counted down and then blew the charges.

As the Heroes rushed in, the building and the nearby area shook as explosions rang out. The members of the Yakuza group were ready for the heroes as they defended themselves using their quirks and guns. As the fighting broke out, Nighteye did his best to coordinate with the local police to barricade the roads.

Fire and smoke filled my vision after the C4 exploded. The fire though threw me for a loop for a second as I wasn't expecting it. But it served as a good distraction for me to enter the room. So, as I kicked down the door where I suspected Overhaul was, I found him being pulled from rubble that had fallen from the ceiling. One of his lackeys was moving and pulling him out from the pile that was on top of him. Overhaul was out of it, most likely concussed and discombobulated from the explosion and the rubble falling on top of him. The lackey had a pretty good head wound that was bleeding profusely.

As I leveled my big iron at the two of them, the walls, floor, and ceiling started to deform; covering them and blocking my sight of them. I swore and looked around the room I was in, trying to see if the kid, Eri, was in there. I found her, against the wall. It appeared that the explosion had sent her tumbling a foot or two. Seeing as my priority adjective was most likely running away or regrouping, I ran over and scooped her up. Booking it out the door and down the hall, I wrapped her in my duster and pulled out a modified [9mm pistol].

I ran as fast as my feet could carry me, backtracking through the endless corridors and hallways as I took out several Yakuza thugs. Stealth was not an option anymore, the raid had started in full and there was no way I could sneak out with the amount of shaking, rumbling, and movement of people I had to go through. So I did what I did best, running and gunning. Soon, sooner than I thought that is, I ran into several heroes who were part of the raid team. I inform them of what transpired during the explosion, letting them know that Overhaul is still out there. After that, I ran past them, making my way up to the surface with Eri still being swaddled in my duster.

(POV: Eri)

Where am I? What happened? Where's Chisaki? The last thing I remember was explosions... Am I dead?

No, I can't be, I can feel something rough rubbing against my hair. No, not just my hair but my entire body. I want to struggle, but it's warm. A warmth I've never felt before. It's kind, peaceful even.

Noise? Is that a fight I hear? What are those loud explosions? But they don't seem scary. This warmth, is it protecting me? Who is this person? Are they here to hurt me?

I don't know what's going on, but this warmth is protecting me. But it's also making me sleepy... A nap won't hurt... Zzz

(POV Courier Six)

.

I fought my way left and right. Making sure my cargo, the little girl named Eri, was safe from all the danger I encountered on the way up. Her protection was my only priority right now. And for some reason, I wasn't running out of breath even though I had been running for quite a while now. But that wasn't important right now.

Minutes ticked by as I ran through the compound. Its seemingly endless corridors were akin to a maze. But finally, I managed to make it above ground, though with the fighting, it wasn't much different from the underground. People were fighting and being thrown around like ragdolls. It almost made me wish for a nuclear winter right about now.

Finally, I made it out of the fighting and into where the heroes had set up a shelter for the injured. The villains were separated from the others and were watched by the stationed police officers. There, I found Veronica, who was treating an injured hero who had a nasty gash across his arm that looked heavily infected.

.

"Veronica!" I shouted to get her attention.

"Six!" She shouted back, "I need antiseptic now!" Her hands were covered in blood.

"On it," I said as I kneeled down and put my duster, which still had Eri in it, to the side gently.

.

I pulled out several bottles of antiseptic, uncorked one, and passed it to Veronica. From there, Veronica and I worked tirelessly to save the Hero's arm from being amputated. Veronica worked on cutting out dead and infected flesh while I kept the hero from moving too much and under sedation. During our work, two more heroes came in with similar wounds. After we saved the first hero's arm, we worked separately on the other two. All the while I kept the still-sleeping Eri next to me.

During my work, I had to quickly amputate a heroine's leg to save her life. During which, I had to remove my helmet due to having blood cover its lenses. As I cast my helmet aside, Eri awoke to it clattering next to her. She jumped at the sound, somehow having slept through the sounds of screaming, but that woke her up. She looked around franticly as she took in the world around her.

She pulled my duster tight around her as she looked around. Then she noticed the helmet next to her. She seemed to ignore the blood as she gazed into its red lenses. At this time, I took notice of her and finished suturing a wound closed.

.

"Hey, you alright?" I asked as I pulled off my bloody gloves.

"W...who are you?" She asked hesitantly when she took notice of me next to her.

"I'm Six," I said gently, "I'm the one who got you away from him."

.

That was all it took for Eri to latch onto me. She cried and cried, even though I was covered in blood, she still cried like I wasn't. I was stunned, I didn't expect this reaction from her.

.

"Is... is he gone?" She whimpered into my chest.

"He got away," I told her as I pulled out a bottle of water and a clean cloth, "But don't you worry, he won't get far."

.

After that, I pushed her back a bit and began to clean her face with water and cloth. From the hug she gave me, she was covered in blood. I was a little put off by how little the girl seemed to care about the blood. As I cleaned her face, she began to shy away from the kindness I was showing her. I sighed when I realized that she was in a hospital gown, that was now covered in blood.

As I looked through my [Pip-boy] for something she could use, we heard an explosion from the compound. All those that weren't helping someone looked up as something ascended to the sky. What I saw, surprised me a bit as I watched Midoriya beat Overhaul to a pulp. I admit, I was proud seeing him beat someone far above his weight class.

And I just knew that Katsuki would be just the same.

That, and he would bitch about being left out. He takes after me in that case. Or would that be his mother?

Note to self, spend more time with their mothers.

.

After Izuku beat Overhaul, the rest of the Yakuza quickly fell. Without their leader and with no leadership, they quickly resorted to in-fighting. With Overhaul's capture, the rest of the raid was over quickly.

Eri never left my side once everything was over, holding on to my duster and hand like they were her only lifelines to freedom. Veronica made the comment that I got a new kid, thankfully Eri didn't hear it. I just ignored her and walked over to where Izuku was being treated.

When I got there, his arms and legs were bandaged heavily. He was conscious but in great pain. Once I got to his side, I pulled some morphine out of my [Pip-boy] and injected him with a small dose of it. I watched as his face, once contorted with pain, eased up and relaxed.

.

"Thank you, Six-sensei," Izuku sighed in relief as the morphine did its job. "Whatever that was, it's helping a lot."

"It's just morphine," I told him as Eri clung to me tighter as a few heroes were watching me and her.

"Isn't that stuff highly addictive and dangerous?" he asked curiously.

"Only in large doses," I told him then I saw Izuku look at Eri and then smile. "Rest, for now, Izuku, we'll talk about her later."

"Okay," Izuku drawled before passing out, most likely due to the stress of the day.

.

I sighed, the day wasn't even half over and everything was stressful. As I started to walk away, I unconsciously picked up Eri and carried her. Minding the blood that was on me. When I found Veronica, she had cleaned herself up and I gave Eri to her before going to clean up myself. Little did I know, Eri had imprinted on me and was scare to be without me.
