47 Epilogue

April 21, 1835

Caroline’s eyes shoot open, she immediately scans her surroundings. She’s in a carriage, realizing that she’s safe, her breathing steadies. Upon further inspection of the carriage it looks oddly familiar. The carriage is pulled to a halt, and the door opens.

“We've arrived.”A deep voice pulls her out of her thoughts. She looks up to see her butler and escort, Edgar Smith, holding his gloved hand out to her. She had gone back in time. She had another chance to make it out. "Are you ready?"

“Yes.”
