The Crowned Subject

A kid was sitting on a chair, enjoying his tea amidst the sound of explosions. He wears a clean set of white clothing, a word 'Crown' was stamped over the left side of his shirt.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

A series sound of punching reverberates in his white room. Someone was trying to use the jammed control panel. The metal door was opened. A skinny bald man wearing a glasses and a lab coat enters the room.

"Subject Crown, the heroes are raiding the lab. Now... kill all of them, let's show them the might of my creation."

A creepy chuckle was let out from the kid's mouth. He turned to see the man.

"Do you actually always thought, I obey all of your orders?"

The man caught his grin, he knew something was wrong.

While he was brainwashed, he kept most of his original personalities. Every time a test happened, he always tried to end it quickly. It was a nice trait to have like a puppet, but he always hit them in a vital spot, making some of the fight subjects at best, permanently incapacitated and at worst, dead. They didn't need a weapon to kill heroes.

As such a device was needed to control subject Crown. A remote. Originally they have an explosive choker on his neck, but it was upgraded to a new one featuring electrocution.

The man immediately pressed electrocutes button on the remote.

Nothing happened to his creation, he only saw his grin grew even wider. Without a second thought, he activated his quirk and pressed the exploded button.

Boom!

An explosion happened in the room, making half of the room full of smoke. After a few moments, the smoke dissipates. But, something was wrong, there is no remain of his creation!

"You know deactivating the shock system was easy, but the bomb was kinda hard to remove."

A sense of dread reached to his spine. He tried to punch his creation only his hand was grabbed.

"So, Mr.Scientist 1 what do you think of your latest creation? Was it the worst of all predecessors? Good? Bad? Decent? Perhaps the best?"

He could see a gun pointed at him.

"Hmm"

Before the man able to pull the trigger. He threw a jab to his face. It was so hard that he drops to the ground, the man also lost his concentration to maintain his quirk. With a second, he twists the man's neck.

"Once, you guys used the electrocute button on me to explain my purpose and plan to my victim. I guess simulation and reality are a different thing. What a waste of time to learn about it. I'll just stick to my usual ways then."

He grabbed the scientist's gun. The metal door was opened for him to escape. He slowly walked out of the white room with a dead body in it.

It's time for payback.

One day ago, in the middle of the night.

A blonde man was drinking tea while watching a Hollywood movie on his TV. He looked like a skeleton.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

He checked his vibrating phone in his pocket.

"Tsukauchi?"

He answered the call of his good friend. Maybe a lead about him will appear.

"All Might, sorry to call you this late but..."

"It's fine, more importantly, is it about him?'

"No, but it involves him."

The blonde man suddenly grows muscles out of his body, leaving no trace of his skeleton form. He stood up from his couch making his tea spilt on the floor. A frown appeared on his face.

"Tell me, Tsukauchi."

"You see, he went to a certain place before the fight with you happened. The problem is..."

"Problem?"

"The place that he visited, has roots to an international case that currently being discussed in the UN. Project Counter Guardian. Ever heard of it?"

He scratched the back of his head.

"I don't know much about villains cases outside of Japan. So, what is Project Counter Guardian?"

"Their goal is hidden in the public but... they want to create soldiers that able to defeat any heroes and villains."

"Their projects are funded by numerous companies around the world. And one of the facilities that they have is in Japan, the place that he also visits."

"When will we raid the place?"

"Tomorrow, there will be a meeting at 8 PM, the raid is at 10 PM. Other countries that have the facility in theirs will also raid at the same time."

"Is that all of it?"

"Yes, also this is also the biggest collaboration of heroes around the world. Make sure that you have enough time when the raids start"

"Ok"

The phone hangs up while the blonde man became deflated. His deflation creates smokes around him. The blonde man now looked like a skeleton.

He turned off his TV and cleaned his spilt tea, before going to bed, awaiting the raid for tomorrow.

Our subject was given a serum that able to make human regenerate without a quirk. It was successfully made after years of hard work and research in this facility. As the name implies Subject Crown will be able to heal his wounds during his fight. The use of the regeneration requires the subject's stamina, it also suggested being able to regrow a limb, but no test has been conducted yet.

With the help of the substance, we managed to awakened Subject's potential even further beyond any subject's predecessor. With the success of Enhancement: Evolution we hoped for Subject Zero to be the masterpiece.

Our previous mysterious benefactor came to our place. He gave a quirk to Subject Crown. He left immediately from our place. He left with a message for him to borrow Subject Crown when he asked us. We accepted his request.

For a few months, there is no sign of big change on Subject Crown. There is an increase in his appetite, but it is suspected for his growth as a kid. Others include a substantial increase in his physical aptitude, it seems Evolution did the job.

He was in deep thought after reading his data log. A regeneration was handy for him, the evolve enhancement was great to increase his ability overall. The problem is the quirk that he got. He didn't even know it has existed in the first place. The scientists didn't even know what quirk it was. It was a matter of time before he finds out what his new quirk was.

He then checked the camera of the overseer was located. He could see he was trying to get out from his own security measures. A trap was managed to catch the overseer off guard. It was a funny sight for him, the overseer was trying to get out from his own security system.

'Oh, the wall almost broke.'

'I guess it's time, to pay the old bastard a visit.'
