"He tried to WHAT?" Delilah burst into the room, her eyes widened in surprise.

"He tried to kill me," Darwin repeated nonchalantly as he placed the box back into its original spot.

"A-Are you okay? D-Did he do anything to you? Where did he go?" Delilah once again blurted out with questions while Darwin simply walked past her and back into his room, slamming it behind him.

"Darwin! Don't ignore me! Open up!" She yelled, banging the door rapidly.

"I'm going to take a shower, I'll talk to you later," Darwin called back out after he realized she wouldn't stop knocking on his door until he answered.

"Fine! But you promised, remember!" Delilah replied, her footsteps furthering away.

"Fuc-," Darwin muttered, glancing back at his shivering hands, his entire body suddenly hungry for more of that feeling once more. "It hasn't even been an hour."

He clenched his fist and breathed out, walking into the ensuite bathroom.

The sound of water began to run as Darwin took his first shower in 7 years, the warm water brushed against his skin as he quickly cleaned himself and hopped back out.

Wrapping himself in his towel and walking back into his room, he was about to grab his clothes when a new screen popped up in front of him.

"Hey, brother you're done showering now right? Can I come in?" Delilah's voice suddenly interrupted, knocking on the door once more.

"No! Wait for a second!"

Darwin looked away from the screen and towards the door in a slight panic, realizing he was currently only wearing his towel.

"Fine! Just hurry up alright! We got a lot to discuss!"

"Ok, just wait a few more seconds!" Darwin frowned, hurriedly putting his shirt and pants on, completely forgetting about his quest.

"Come in!" He sighed as the door opened up and Delilah walked in her arms folded.

"Wait…" Darwin finally took notice of the screen, realizing the accidental choices he had just made during his conversation with his sister. "Oh no…"

"Did you just 'oh no' me?" Delilah raised an eyebrow as she sat down on a chair opposite of him.

"No…" Darwin answered, his eyes slightly distracted to the side, staring at his status screen, and the implications of his new title.

"What do you want to talk about?" Darwin sighed, turning back to face Delilah, the air in the room slightly shifting.

Delilah felt a shiver run down her spine as she stared at Darwin with a frown. "Are you all right?" She asked, sensing something off with her brother.

"Of course." He replied, staring right back at her, his eyes staring straight into her own, causing her instincts to scream at her that something is definitely wrong.

"What happened to the guard when you went to the roof?" She asked with a serious tone,

"What roof? I never went to the roof." Darwin replied monotonically,

"…Of course…my mistake…" Delilah suddenly nodded, her eyes becoming slightly misty as she nods.

"And the guards never asked you about any missing guards. You also never walked in here to ask me any of this." Darwin added, his eyes still staring straight into his sisters.

"…of course…" She stands up and begins to walk out the door, shutting it behind her.

After a couple of seconds, the light of the hallways turns off as Delilah yells from her own bedroom, "Darwin, it's best if you sleep early tonight. I've planned a lot for you tomorrow."

"Alright," He replied with a chuckle.

The morning sun shone through the bedroom window as Darwin woke up with a start. His hand shaking so much it almost seemed like it was having a seizure.

"I need more…" He murmured, gritting his teeth as he took a glance outside, clenching his fist.

With a kick of his blanket, he stood up from his bed and stretched, slowly pacing around his bedroom.

However, as it was no help at all, he made his way into the bathroom, chugging water straight from the tap, but just like he expected it was no use. He just couldn't take that urgent sense of craving out both his mind and body.

With no other way, Darwin made his way into his room balcony, looking below at the few pedestrians going about their day. His hand itches.

When he saw the least amount of people walking below in the streets, he activated his disguise skill, instantly transforming his appearance into that of a regular-looking middle-aged brown-haired man.

He silently hopped off the balcony, falling onto the hard concrete below, leaving behind a small crater into the ground below.

"How do I do this…" He muttered, walking out the alleyway and blending into the crowd, trying his best to hide his hands into his pocket to avoid his hand accidentally running wild.

As soon as he felt he walked far enough from the apartment complex, he slowly made his way into a dark alleyway, walking towards the other exit, and just in time, a couple could be seen giggling as they scurried into the alley ahead of him, the slight swaying as they walked suggested that they were drunk as Darwin nonchalantly walked towards them.

"Hello." He suddenly stopped in front of them, observing them both as they gave him a confused glance.

"Do we know you?" The man asked with a frown, holding onto his girlfriend tightly

"No. I simply wished to thank you for the delicious meal." Darwin replied with a sly smile, raising both his farm and touching their foreheads.

The couple instantly collapsed onto the ground, as Darwin knelt down in front of them, the same look of euphoria on his face.

Once again, he grabbed the two faces and began absorbing their life force.

"Ahh…" Darwin let out a breath of fresh air as he once again looked around the alleyway for more victims, but upon seeing no one nearby, he made his way towards an alleyway intersection, hoping to catch more if he was lucky.

"Hey, I already told you that was the deal. Take it or go," A hushed voice entered his ears as he saw three well-built men standing in an alleyway, clearly on the lookout while the guy in the middle was negotiating some sort of deal. Most noticeably, every single man which stood there seemed to be highlighted in a soft red highlight.

"You, no entrance." The man's deep voice cut through the air as Darwin walked towards them.

"Oi, I said no entrance." The voice began louder and more assertive, however, Darwin didn't slow down.

"Did you not hear me?" The man on guard, gripping his fingerings into Darwin's shoulder.

"Hm?" Darwin slowly looked up at the tall buffed tattooed man stopping him, then at the hand gripped onto his shoulder. "Never had someone volunteer to be my breakfast. Even though I appreciate the action, I don't like being grabbed." Darwin frowned, raising his hand and grabbing the arm which touched him, applying slight pressure until an audible crack echoed out, and just like his previous victims, as a few seconds, the man collapsed by Darwin's feet, shrivelling up while screaming in agony.

"Bro!" A desperate shout came from the other 3 men as they came charging over, their eyes wide with shock. "You! What did you do?" They screamed, ready to punch Darwin into oblivion. However, much to their surprise, the moment their fist came into contact with Darwin's body, it felt just like punching a steel wall.

"Gahhh!" They screamed, collapsing to the ground, hugging their arm in pain.

And just like that, they too became mummified corpses under Darwin's touch.
