The rain poured down, Nora was running down the streets like a maniac, she almost got hit by a few cars and got yelled at but her mind was too occupied to pay any attention to them. She was happy he was safe but was scared when she heard he got into an accident, her mind got back to what happened to Tina and that's when her brain stopped functioning. She just ran straight out of the gates hoping to get to him. The feeling she felt was unexplainable, it was a new feeling, something she'd never felt before. It was completely different from anything she'd felt before. This feeling made her act on her impulse and instincts, it made her even more reckless.

She reached Harbour Heaven, she was breathing heavily, she barged through the entrance, the area was comparatively less crowded, with only a few people whose eyes were fixed on the girl, who stood at the entrance in a pool of water, drenched to the skin and water dripping through her clothes. She looked around and rushed to the reception desk. The woman looked at her from head to toe. "I am here to visit Luke Osborne." Nora blurted before the woman could speak anything.

"Mr. Osborne? I'm sorry but I can't allow that." She smiled awkwardly.

"It is imperative that meet him right now. Please understand." Nora said.

"I'm sorry I can't do this."

"Why don't you understand?" Nora slammed her palms on the desk.

"Please don't create a scene or I'll have to call the security." She snapped.

Nora looked at her and then turned her eyes to the elevator ahead and stomped towards it. "Stop." the woman shouted, she picked up the phone and called for the security. Nora was almost at the elevator when two guards blocked her way, she failed to get through them. One of them tightly held onto her arm and started pulling her forcefully, resistance was futile.

She was almost at the exit when she saw Jerry from the corner of her eyes, "Jerry!" She shouted. He turned immediately, seeing her, he rushed towards her and stopped the guards, "Let go of her Joe." He said sternly.

"Mr. Sullivan, this girl, she asked for Mr. Osborne, when refused she tried to trespass." The receptionist said.

"You could have at least called before dragging her out like that. Pease leave now, I'll handle this on my own." He said. Each one of them got back to their positions. Jerry looked at Nora who was desperately looking at the elevator, "You can use this key in the elevator." He handed it to her.

"Thank you." She said in a small voice.

"It is my pleasure Miss Nora." He smiled. Nora rushed to elevator and stepped in it as soon as the doors opened. She held the card key against the panel, the doors closed and the elevator started rising without stopping.

It came to a halt and the doors opened, she stepped out hurriedly and walked to the main door, scanning the card on the screen beside it, the door clicked opened. She hesitated at first but then opened it and stepped inside. The house seemed bigger than she remembered, looking around there was no sight of Luke. She walked inside and then heard his voice, "Jerry make sure to send the car for servicing," he was coming down the steps, "and please get me coffee–" he froze when he saw Nora standing at the end of the steps. "Nora?" He almost whispered to himself, he stepped down and stood in front of her, "How did you–" before he could say anything she ran towards him and jumped into his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and was off the ground by a few inches, her feet dangling in the air.

He stood there unable to comprehend anything, he unconsciously wrapped her arms around her tightly. Feeling the grip tightened at her waist she buried her face in his neck, "I was worried about you."

"Why were you worried about me?" It was almost a whisper.

"You didn't reply to my messages. You didn't call me. I was scared."

"What were you scared of Nora?"

She further buried her face in his neck, he heard a whimper and then felt warm tears running down his neck, "Hey," he said stroking her hair.

"I thought I lost you. I thought you left me." She cried.

"But I am right here. Don't worry about it."

"No. You didn't talk to me for six days and then you got into an accident, I was so scared. I thought I'd never see you again."

"Okay. I'm sorry, now please stop crying." He rubbed his hand up and down her back. Nora tightened her grip. He smiled and then moved towards the kitchen, Nora still in his arms. He settled her down on the breakfast bar, but she refused to leave him. "Come on, I'm not going anywhere. Let me get you some water." He said. Nora reluctantly left him.

He stepped back and looked at her. She was completely drenched, her clothes were sticking to her skin giving way to her soft curves. She was shivering lightly, he went away and then came back with a towel and wrapped it around her. He tilted her chin up and glared down at her, "Don't tell me you came running all the way."

She didn't say anything but her eyes gave away, "Do you have any idea how dangerous that was. Nora that was reckless. What if something happened to you?" He snapped. She looked at his clenched jaw, "Sorry." She muttered lightly.

He sighed and cupped her face, "Don't do anything like that again. Don't put yourself in any kind of danger." She nodded.

"First let's get you out of those clothes." He said and picked her up from the bar onto her feet. "And Nora one more thing, what you did today was totally unexpected. And you already know how I feel about you so please don't do anything like this again. Don't give me a ray of hope." He shrugged.

Nora looked at him with utter disbelief, she ran all the way to his place and this was what she got to hear, something like that made her so angry. "No. I am not giving you any hope. I like you." She shouted. He stopped in his steps and turned to look at her, "What did you say?"

"I said I like you." She said in a small voice.

"Change your clothes we'll talk about this later." He said and started up the stairs.

When she got into the room he entered, he was already at the door with a pair of fresh clothes. "You can wear these."

"I could use the dryer. No need for that." She said gripping the towel tightly in her fists.

"No. Go change and take a shower, I don't want you catching a cold after all this."

She took the clothes and rushed inside the bathroom. She was courageous a moment ago but now all of it drained away, her mind was in a wreck. She was disappointed the way he reacted to her. She looked at herself in the mirror, her eyes were red and puffy because of the crying, "Why would he ever agree to me now?" She smirked and looked down at the clothes in her hands, they were his. A knock on the door startled her, "Come downstairs when you're done." Luke said and went away.

He got down and went to the kitchen and gulped down a glass of water, what happened right now caught him off guard, she was damn too good at it. Seeing her at his door completely drenched, did something to him and that confession, it was unbelievable. The doorbell rang, it was Jerry, "You gave her your key?" Luke asked.

"Yes sir." Jerry said.

"Okay. I'll see where she threw it and give it back, continue using the spare one for now." He said. Jerry nodded and left.

Nora stepped out of the warm shower and wrapped herself in a fluffy towel and stared at the clothes, it was a white t-shirt and grey sweatpants. She pulled the t-shirt over her head and it fell down to her knee, she could wear just that and it would be perfectly fine, but she didn't act on the idea. Then she had to fold the sweatpants at least half a dozen times because they were just too long for her. She looked at herself in the mirror, in a t-shirt that was too big for her and in a pair of sweatpants she could swim in, she looked like a freak. She tucked in the t-shirt and adjusted the sweatpants so she looked less of a freak. She towel dried her hair, took one last look in the mirror and then stepped out.
