Marry Me

"Why are you saying all this?" Ben asked.

"Because when I'm gone you'll become a king and control the companies. I will leave every property to you. I know you can handle all of it."

"Don't say that you're alive grandpa."

"Not for long. I want you to do something for me that would be my last request." He coughed.

"What is that?"

"I want you to get married before I'm gone." Grandpa blurted out.

Ben went silent for a while and swallowed his throat. "I'll get married, I promise you." He swears.

"Thank you, my son. I hope it is still the same girl?"

Ben chuckled. "Yes."

"That's great."

Ben and Kim stuff themself into the car. Ben swung his head to look at her and smiled. "Where to ma'am?"

"The last place we went." She said grinning.

"Okay, ma'am." He said and winked at her. She laughed.

He starts the car and zooms off to the highway. They drove to the amusement park. Kim was playing with ice snow, she was throwing it at Ben, chasing him around.

They got on the rollercoaster. He closed his eyes and held onto Kim when the rollercoaster started moving with a gust of wind blowing on them.

"I love you, Kim," Ben screamed..

"I love you, Ben," she screamed too, and they both laughed.

After playing all around the park, they stand arm to arm watching the beautiful clouds.

Kim giggled. "It's good to be here."

Ben looked at her and held her hand. "It's good to be with you." He chuckled.

They both lean closer and kiss each other passionately, tenderly, and greedily, playing with each other tongue. He held her waist, she wrapped her hands around his shoulder.

It was the thirty-first night. The street was decorated with beautiful Christmas trees in front of houses and restaurants. A lot People were on the street, some were heading to church, and some people were going to a party. This time of the year people usually spend it with their family members.

Ben was sitting around a golden table inside the restaurant he and Kim first met. He looked handsome and fresh. He was in a casual outfit, a white Louis Vuitton round neck and blue jeans with sneakers. Candlelight was in the middle of the table illuminating its surroundings and the menu card on it. He checked his wristwatch. A solo musical was playing on the stage on one side of the restaurant.

"You're welcome." The security man said.

Ben looked up and saw Kim emerge from the entrance like an angel from the sky. She wore a red stunning cocktail sequined gown, and her jet-black hair was parked in a pun style which shows her beautiful face. Sexy rose red lipstick with a shining wet lip, Small Saint Laurent black pulse. He loves the way she carries herself in her heels.

He got up and pulled a chair for her to sit. "Thank you." She said grinning and settled down on the chair.

"You're beautiful." He admitted.

She smacked her lips and Ben's eyes were brought to her lips, he found that place enticing, he wandered his eyes to her chest, the cleavage.

"Good evening. Sir, ma." The waitress said.

"Lady first," Ben said smiling, holding the menu card.

Kim picks up the menu and looks through it. "I'll go for chips and chicken." She said.

"What about you sir?" The waitress asked.

"I'll go for what she orders." He said.

"Okay, sir," she left.

They were staring at each other with a hint of a sweet smile on their pretty faces. "You're as handsome as ever." Kim blurted out.

He took her hand and squeezed it a little." you know what?"

"What?" She asked, grinning from ear to ear.

"I can't stop thinking about you." He uttered.

She laughed. "Stop."

"This Christmas and New Year, the only thing I want from Santa is you! Having you in my life means I'll always have someone I can rely on. Even when you're not with me, thinking of you makes every day better." He confessed.

Kim smiled, a red blush on her cheeks. "My day is already going better, so far I'm talking to you, I know it's cheesy but you're the first person I think of when I wake up in the morning."

Ben chuckled, still holding her hand on the table. The waitress arrived with the food and placed the tray gently on the table with the drinks. "Do you remember this is the place we first met?"

"Of course, you're so cold and mean at that time. I recalled you saying we shouldn't fall in love." She said smiling.

"I just can't help it, those words are meaningless now. Here we are together even though it takes years but we're finally back together. That is the coolest thing." Ben said.

"Yes, babe." She said.

"Now let's enjoy the delicious meal."

They start to eat while listening to the rhythm of the music playing underground. What a sweet love of music.

Ben starts coughing.

"Let me help you with the water." She said, and handed over the cup of water to him, he gulped it but didn't stop coughing.

Kim had to get up from her seat and move toward him, patting his back like a baby. "It's okay, relax." She said as if she was talking to her one-year-old boy.

Ben raised and went down on his knees. Kim looks down at him, not sure what is happening. He digs his hand into his trousers pocket and brings out a diamond ring.

Kim gasped in astonishment.

"You are the sunshine in my life. You are the shade that comforts me. I have never said this before but I'm saying this today. I deeply love you and I want you forever in my life. Marry me, Kim." He said.

"Yes. Yes, yes, yes." She said jumping up with happiness. "I'll marry you." She nodded her head impatiently and stretched out her hand.
