Leaving the kebab shop behind, I couldn't help but sigh, "Fuck, Now my mother will be a pain in the ass... Sigh, nothin' I can do about it." I accepted while walking up the hill back home ready to be scolded by my parents.

As I arrived at my apartment block, the familiar routine of my homecoming began. Before entering, I took a moment to tidy up my hair and checked my phone's camera to ensure I didn't still look homeless.

Once I was confident that I no longer looked suspicious, I pressed the buzzer for the entrance door, and moments later, a constant beep signaled my admittance. Pushing the door open, I ascended the staircase. My mom didn't know who rang the door. She patiently waited for someone to come up the stairs.

As I reached the top of the stairs, my mom's eyes met mine, and tears welled up instantly. Her voice quivered as she spoke, "Oh, D-Dionis..." Her tone was a mix of joy and sorrow.
