The blooming togetherness and a happily ever after!

3 Years later.....

It had been three years since the day she confessed her heart out to him and since that day she never looked back. The three years of separation and agony that once speared her heart was healed by these three years of togetherness with him. A blooming togetherness.

Regan had not lied when he said her that she was the centre of his world and his life. He was true to his words and didn't held back to show her his affection and love her at every moment. He filled her heart with such bliss and happiness that she never imagined was possible. When they met for the first time, she was broken and surrounded by the dark, but his deep love gave her enough light to love him back to pieces with all of her pieces that he gradually healed and brought together to make her complete again.

"The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love and to let it come in. Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eyes."

That's what crossed Anna's mind when her eyes landed on the man moving gracefully through the party conversing with different people. Her man precisely. Regan. Her lips curled up radiantly when she found him coming towards her.

'How can you love me so much? You kissed me with your soul where lips cannot reach. You touched me with your eyes that penetrated deep in my heart. You loved every part of me and made me complete. How did I get so fortunate to have you?' She thought as her eyes shined brightly.

He softly pecked her lips and looked into her ocean blue orbs that still had the same effect to bewitch him.

It was the success party of the Glory Inn Hotel and Resort. The project that they had started together three years back and had become the reason of their togetherness. Anna still couldn't believe how the man in her front captured her heart and made her fall for him harder than ever.

"Ready to leave Mrs. Knight?" He asked bringing her out of her thoughts.

She nodded maintaining the same smile on her face. "After you Mr. Knight."

They left the party and went to the hilltop that had become their favourite destination to cherish the best moments of their lives. Two years back, they shifted to Seattle. As promised, Anna handed over Watson Corporation to Emily. She was still an inevitable part of it, but she made sure to limit her stake over it. Later, after settling down in Seattle, she took on herself to uplift her father's event management company as she had planned earlier but couldn't do due to the course of events in her life. Initially, it was difficult for her to live in there and call it home where she lost her everything, but eventually with Regan's love and support, she accommodated herself with the new changes in her life. She gradually realized that it was him that was her home and not the place where they resided physically. Her home was in his arms that held her safely within their warmth.

For a while, they stood there in a serene silence taking in the beauty of the place. Soon the clock strucked 12 and Regan turned to Anna.

"Happy Wedding Anniversary heart."

"Happy Anniversary."

They looked into each other's eyes which beamed with love and happiness. They still didn't need words to communicate the things they felt in each other's presence or embrace.

Regan couldn't not believe for how he got so fortunate to get her precious love. Anna placed her hand on his chest above his heart and he realized how her simple gesture everytime made him feel her deep in his heart. He didn't know what was love until she came into his life, but now when he knew what it was, it was her. For him, love was her. He took no time to capture her lips in a loving kiss. Their hearts smiled together when their lips met. He touched her forehead with his and caressed her face with his thumbs that was cupped between his palms.

"Thanks for coming into my life and making me so happy Anna. I love you so much. Words can never be enough to express what I feel for you."

"It should be me saying this to you." She said without any hesitation. "You were so unexpected in my life. I didn't expect that you would have such an effect on me, my heart, my mind, my feelings. You came into my life like a healing force and took down my walls. Brick by brick. And you know what? I didn't mind it for I love you more Regan." She confessed wholeheartedly warming his heart with more love for her.

He looked deep into her eyes as he said, "I want you to know that no matter what happens, it was worth to me. Being with you, loving you, is all worth it."

Saying it, he enveloped her in his arms that were strong enough to hold her every fear and every broken piece of her. She realized in that moment that he didn't make her feel complete but he completed her with his unconditional and irrevocable love. He healed her and helped to overcome her past lingering over the dents and worn edges of her heart assuring her that she wasn't alone anymore.

"Thank you for being my home. Thank you for loving me so much Regan. Thank you for holding me and making me feel so safe and complete."

He pulled away from her and saw the sincerity behind her every word. She was his precious and he wanted to let her know how ecstatic he was to have her in his life.

Still keeping her close to him by holding her waist, he said dotingly, "I keep falling in love with you, and each time, it is harder than the last Anna. Every time, the feeling is deeper and makes me feel more complete. There isn't a single thing that I won't do to keep you safe baby. The more I love you, the more love I feel to have bursting inside me to give you more."

His words made her smile. She lowered her head in an attempt to hide her glowing face which made him chuckle, but at the same time made him feel euphoric to realize his effect on her.

"You look adorable when you blush heart." He whispered in her ear as a shiver ran down her spine with their close proximity.

She came back to her senses when she remembered something and met his eyes.

"I have something to tell you."

She bit her lip not knowing how to start or inform him. She gently took his hand and placed it on her stomach.

"I hope you will like your Anniversary gift."

He frowned on her gesture. A moment later, his eyes went wide as he looked back and forth between her eyes and his hand.

"Anna....."

She had teary eyes as a wide smile erupted on her face.

"Hi daddy! Mama told me that you are awesome and you are going to be an amazing dad and my best friend. I can't wait to meet you." Speaking softly, she placed her hand on his.

Still shocked to speak anything, he asked again, "Anna.....you.....you are pregnant?"

"I am."

"I am going to be a dad!" Regan exclaimed incredulously as if he still couldn't believe what he heard a few seconds before.

Anna nodded in assurance and the next moment she was gathered by him in his arms. He kissed her hair repeatedly not knowing how to express his exhilaration at the moment.

"I.....I don't know what to say heart. I still can't believe that we are going to have a baby. Thank you so much love. This is truly the best gift I could ever get."

"It is. But for me.....you are the best gift that life has given me Regan. I love you."

"I love you more heart."

When love is real, it finds a way. True love is to love without conditions, give without reasons and care without expectations. It is to love someone beyond their limits and yours and that's what they did for the rest of their lives and lived happily ever after.
