Instead of going to the study, Regan went to his room where Drake followed him worriedly.

"Reg..... Stop it. Will you? I am worried as hell for you and here you are..." Drake closed his eyes, took a deep breath and said again, "Look Reg..... I know how difficult it would be for you... You had just started liking her and she loving someone else... I can't even imagine what you might be going through... But don't shut yourself. We can talk, you know that right?"

All the while, Regan stood there with a poker face, hands tucked in his pockets and looked intently at him.

Drake didn't know how to handle the situation so he said again, "Reg..... Will you speak something for God's sake?"

"Did I ever say that I like her?"

"It's a NO... then why do you think that I would be pathetic and heartbroken on seeing her with someone else?"

"Reg... I don't say that you are heartbroken but yes that's a news... I mean I know you kind of like her and..."

"First... I am not a lovesick puppy Drake whose heart has been crumpled. I told you earlier that it was an infatuation because I felt she was different. But after what she said today of her being already in love with someone, I think all of it just vanished in an instance..... I don't want to be a third wheel in someone's love story and Second... Drake didn't know what to do so he went to the study where Nathan was already awaiting for them. He immediately stood up from the chair and asked Drake anxiously, "Where's Regan? What did he say? What do you think Drake about the turn of events?"

"It's all so complicated uncle Nathan. I mean he is okay.....okay with all this. I thought he was falling for Anna but he said that he never liked her. It was a mere infatuation for him. I don't understand what's going on in his mind. I just wish he didn't get hurt in all these things and I am worried for Anna too. I mean you know how stubborn he is. I am anxious if he would try to hurt her... I don't know what to say....." Drake explained everything to Nathan and sighed audibly.

"You are right but may be we are really thinking too much. May be what he said is true. Anna is still here with us. I'll will leave this topic for now and will take talk to him tomorrow. Whatever it is... He liked her or not, she loves someone else so I'll just make sure that knowingly or unknowingly, he may not hurt her."

"Do you really think of me to go so low to hurt someone Dad?"

When they heard the cold voice from the doorside, they were shocked. They turned around and saw Regan who was clenching his jaw in anger.

"Regan.....its not what you think son. What I meant was whatever happened today, it was kind of shocking for everyone. But her being in love with someone else does not mean that she has made a mistake. I don't want you to hurt her...that's it."

"And why the hell in this world I would hurt her Dad? I respect and admire her for what she is. I have not forgotten what she did for you Dad..... If she already have someone in her life, all I can wish is happiness for her."

Drake and Nathan were stunned to here such words of high regards for Anna from him as he was quite hostile and cold with others except his family. She indeed made a place for her in his heart.

"Besides she is not my type." He shrugged his shoulders and said while taking a seat on the couch.

They were again stupefied on his statement.

"I mean she is too good for me to handle. And now if you have stopped worrying about me..... I would like to take your leave as I have to drop her back to her hotel because I promised her." With this he walked to the door as if nothing has happened. He was at the door when he turned around and said, "Dad it's already late... so after dropping Anastasia to her hotel, I would be directly going to my penthouse."

"Regan why don't you stay here tonight? I mean..."

"I have a date with Tracy... Tracy Jones who is a famous model. So you know how it's going to be right?" He shut the door and went away with quick heavy steps.
