The Feast

Lilet really made her look perfect. It gives her a bombshell look. A swipe of metallic eye shadow across your lids paired with a red lips emphasized her full mouth and blue eyes. Her pin- straight pale blond hair is iconic with those dark curls of female population including the queen.

She was altered that made her physically perfect from the tip of her silky golden hair to the tip of her toe nails. She was created with full of charms and allure. She used these features to her enemies before and they all fell from it. Lilet removed her from the Lab and forced her to prepare for the feast. She told her the queen was also preparing herself for the feast.

All attention was on her when she entered the hall. Dead silence. Men were stupefied as they gawked at her. Even the king who was talking to the Lord of the South East stopped in a middle of his conversation and stared at her like he was seeing her for the first time.

He wore his dark scowl as he walks towards her and took off his cape. He placed it on her body and guided her to his royal chair. She sat there with the king. The queen was nowhere to be seen. She saw some concubines on their respective seats.

Lilet said the king will grab her and drag her outside the hall but it didn't happen. She over estimated her appeal. People here have different taste when it comes to women.The only thing she likes was that the cape covered her exposed body.

The visitors acknowledged her presence. The royal secretary announced the start of showering of gifts. Her father came and she smiled when she saw him. He gave her a thoughtful smile before he walked towards them and greeted the king.

"How are you daughter?" he asked and frowned when he saw what she was wearing. "I am good father, I am so happy to see you," she replied. He nodded and again bowed at them as he returned to his designated seat with the lords.

"Showering of gifts," is a tradition. The guests will be the well-wishers before their public mating. The royal secretary would challenge the men to show off their gifts and any objection will be welcomed. She was astounded to the number of gifts she received from them. She now has a huge house in the North East as the Lord of the North West gifted it to her. She also received a ton of golds and precious gems from all of visitors.

The Lord of the West asked her what she will do with all the gifts. She felt like she was in question and answer portion of a beauty pageant. Why are they interested with the gifts they already gave? Weird, she thought. She smiled, "I will build homes with security for the wanderers. Warriors can also stay and used it when traveling," she said.

All of them became silent again. Was her idea so absurd? She should had told them she'll build an orphanage, maybe it's safer, she thought. But to her surprise, the fierce warrior and the brother of the lord from the South East- Kahlo, raised his cup as if he was pleased with what she had said and the gestures followed by all of them. Or maybe Kahlo already knew her and he wanted to save her from the guest's scrutiny.

She turned to the king, his expression was still blank and he never looked at her. She now doubted her appeal. It's a good thing no one dared to buy her out from the king. She felt awkward. Did he get tired of her already?

Her stomach grumbled, she turned to the king again and saw his lips quirked. Damn! this is embarrassing! She spent her time in the lab and sometimes forgot her meals. She should had eaten first but she was edgy last time and she forgot to eat. The king nodded to the headmaster and in few seconds, maids entered the hall as they carried foods. A table was pulled in front of them and in few minutes the table was full with food.

She frowned, "what if the food was poisoned?' she asked Lilet. The damn robot was silent the moment she entered the hall. Lilet was doing her research right now why her prediction didn't go as she predicted. She maybe studying human behavior right now. The poor robot was disappointed why the king reacted in a different way when he saw her.

"The food is safe," Lilet said and become silent again.

Maybe the king was tired of waiting for her to move and get her food. He spooned a dish and put it on her plate. He chose dishes for her but didn't say a word. Her stomach grumbled again, the king frowned at her.

He sighed and to her surprise the king fed her. She turned her face but his eyes were telling to open her mouth or she'll get punished. After several spoonful of food, she stopped the king. Then she gasped, her eyes went wide when she remembered something.

The king's face became alert as he looked around. "What is it? Is something wrong?" he asked immediately. "No, it's nothing. I just remembered something. Nothing important," she replied and sighed.

"Tell me," his tone changed as if ordering her.

"I forgot my birthday will be few minutes from now," she said. The king smiled thoughtfully at her. Fee moments from now will be midnight.

"I know," he replied.

"You knew?" she asked foolishly.

"I am your husband of course I know," he said

"You're really need a good memory as you need to memorize all the birthdays of all your women," she said sarcastically as she looked at his concubines who were eating in one table together like they're some sort of sisterhood.

"I only memorized your birthday," the king commented. She scoffed as she didn't believe him. The king really knew how to play a game with women, she thought. But again, she realized that the king waited for this day to take her. He even wants to do it in public because no rules can bound him for his heir. Was he waiting for her?

A man stood and said, "before this evening ends. I would like to offer my entire life serving the king by protecting the north border if he gives me Her Highness," he said. Venus raised her brow, she knew the handsome man of course. He's her father's chief warrior and Lilet's twin, the famous slayer of the north. Lilet's counterpart in the north, the one who transported Aryana to the spacecraft. So, this is Lilet's plan? She said to herself. Lander served her father. She programmed him to protect her father and he became famous because an android can't be killed and Lander has more special features than Luke. She smiled at Lilet's little scheme.

The king glared at her as he saw her smile. She immediately changed her expression but it's too late. "Yes," she replied. She can't take her eyes off the king. Why she felt like this? She was drowning into him like he became her center of universe. The king was looking at her differently. Did he feel it?

Then she heard an ear splitting howl. Her eyes slanted with fury. "Starting today I forbid all men to buy my mate away from me. I will kill anyone who will disrespect her. I will make sure he'll suffer my fury if anyone of you will dare to touch her."

Venus grimaced at the sound. She forgot, if Luke was good looking so as Lander. He's also a sex entertainer. He was programmed to pleasure women and he was famous on that area also.

He turned to the headmaster and headmistress. "Make sure no one will dare to disturb us in seven days. I will cut off your head if someone disturb us. Prepare the mating chamber!" he barked an order.

Venus was instantly confused. "why seven days? She thought she would only endure one mating with audience? Then she saw the queen entering the hall, her face showed disbelief when she saw her and the king together.

"He's your mate," Lilet from her silence told her. "And your mate is in his 'in-heat period' now. The queen will also witness you mating" she added.
