Babysitting

"Wait, you said what?" Arthur asks and I shrug, sliding by on my roller blades as he trailed behind on his longboard. "'No. I love my son, he means absolutely everything to me. I refuse to give him up like you did, I don't need your money or your help to raise my child and have the family I want. Unlike you, I can truly be happy surrounded by the love and affection given to me by my friends and family. Money can't buy that kind of happiness, just like it can't buy my favor.' those are my exact words to them." I say, though I was starting to lose momentum- I kicked a little bit, easily regaining the momentum. "Oh, they must've been pissed." Arthur cackles as he kicks the ground, keeping his longboard at my pace. "I didn't stick around to find out, you know, since I wanted to tear their throats out." I say and Arthur snorts, twining his fingers behind his head. "Yeah, I figured. I don't even want to look at them after they suggested such a thing. I mean, really? Come on, wasn't abandoning your son enough?" Arthur says and I glance back at him, flashing him a big grin. "I know right? Like, how fucked up can you get? Who's your supplier?" I say and we both laugh at the inside joke.

"Teddy Bear!" Bokuto calls as we arrive at the park, sitting on a bench next to Akaashi. "Bokuto!" I chime, skating over to him with Arthur in tow. He jumps up, running over and scooping me up, spinning me around. "It's been too long!" Bokuto chimes, making me laugh as I set my hands on his shoulders. "Bokuto, we saw each other yesterday!" I laugh as he sets me down, hugging me tight. "Exactly! Too long!" Bokuto whines and I hug him back, laughing as I pat his head lightly. "There, there. No time to pout! Let's have fun, what do you want to do?" I ask and Bokuto perks up, pulling away and smiling widely at me. "I dunno, what do you want to do?" Bokuto chimes as Akaashi walks over to us, Arthur rolling around us on his longboard. "Uh, I dunno. You have anything in mind, Akaashi?" I ask and he hums, shoving his hands in his pockets. "How about we go ice skating?" He asks and I clap my hands excitedly, glancing at Arthur. "Oh! Arthur, is there any ice skating places nearby?" I ask, grinning widely at him as he pulls out his phone. "I'll find a place and rent it for a bit." Arthur says and I smile widely at Akaashi. "Do you guys know how to skate?" I ask, Akaashi nodding as Bokuto shrugs.

"Come on Bokuto! Look at me, if you wanna stop, do this!" I say, showing him the T-stop as he clings desperately to the wall. "I can't do it!" Bokuto whines, though I slide over and take one of his hands. "Do you trust me Bokuto?" I ask and he sniffs, looking at me with sad eyes. "Come on, skate with me." I say and he nods, taking both of my hands as he shakes. "Stand tall, keep your back straight- long strides. One foot forward, then the other… there you go, just like that." I say, beginning to skate backwards as I guide him to take off. "Look at that Bokuto! You're skating!" I chime and he lets out a giddy laugh, beginning to have confidence in his strides. "Can you do it with one hand now?" I ask, letting go of his hand and sliding beside him. He sucks in a deep breath, holding tightly to my hand as he starts wobbling. "Stand straight Bokuto, you got this! Keep your feet shoulder width apart, one foot forward, then the other!" I say, cheering him on as he gets the hang of it. "Okay! Now, the T-stop." I say, sliding back in front of him and taking both of his hands. "You saw how I did it right? Just put your foot in a T!" I say and he gets anxious, sliding one of his feet backwards-

"Keep your back straight!" I say, though it's too late, he slips. I slide closer, grabbing onto each other tightly as we tumble onto the ice. I slide my legs out so Bokuto doesn't hurt himself on my skates, cradling his head into my chest as I fall on my ass. I grunt as his momentum knocks me onto my back, though I manage not to bang my head on the ice. "You okay, Bokuto?" I ask and he whines, burying his head into my chest. "I can't do it! I can't skate!" Bokuto whines, squeezing me tighter as I sigh, patting his head. "You're skating is just fine, Bokuto! You just need to work on stopping, that's something many people struggle with." I say though he stubbornly shakes his head, looking up at me with sad eyes. "I can't do it Teddy Bear!" Bokuto whines and I lean down, kissing his nose and brushing my thumbs over his cheeks. "I know you can, Baby Owl. You just need to try, remember to keep your back straight." I say and he sniffs, his cheeks turning pink as he slowly nods. "Now come on, let's get up and try again." I say and he sits back on his knees- I help him stand back up, by no means an easy feat. Bokuto was a big guy, on ice he was unstable to say the least, but it was his first time.

"Okay, remember, back straight and make a T with your feet." I say as I guide him to take off again, waiting for him to be confident before he concentrates, going to do the T-stop. "Hey Bokubro!" Kuroo calls, breaking Bokuto's concentration and making him stumble. "Bokuto!" I cry as we crash into each other, tumbling back to the ground. He grabs my head, burying it into his shoulder as we slam into the ground. We both land with a grunt, Bokuto managing to keep his weight from crushing me under him. "Are you okay, Bokuto?" I ask as he slowly sits up, making a pained face as he cups his mouth. "I bi' my li'." Bokuto grumbles and I take his other hand, nodding my head to the edge of the court. "Come on, I'll check it out." I say and we slowly meander our way over, sticking close to the edge of the court. Kuroo meets us at the edge, helping me sit Bokuto in one of the chairs. "Shit, my bad bro. Are you okay?" Kuroo asks as Akaashi comes over, medkit in hand. "Bit his lip. Let me see, Bokuto." I say, gently brushing his hand out of the way as he opens his mouth slightly. "I'm gonna get a good look at it, if it hurts, just squeeze Kuroo." I say and he nods as I gently pull his bottom lip down.

I click my tongue, taking the medkit from Akaashi and beginning to dig through. "You cut it, I'm going to clean it out. Akaashi, can you go get a cup of water and an empty cup so he can spit into it?" I ask and he nods, taking off as I pull out a cleansing wipe. "I'm gonna clean it out so it doesn't get infected. It's gonna hurt a bit." I say and he nods, sniffing lightly as he closes his eyes. I open the wipe and take it out, gently pulling his lip down. "I'm gonna start now." I say as I gently kiss his forehead, pulling back and beginning to pat the wipe on his lip. He hisses and grinds his teeth, squeezing Kuroo's hand and making him flinch. "It's not good to grind your teeth, Bokuto. I know it hurts, hang in there for me." I say, cleaning his lip properly as Akaashi comes back with two cups. I put the wipe in the package and take the cups, offering them to Bokuto. "Here, rinse your mouth with this. Spit into the empty cup." I say and he nods, rinsing and spitting with the respective cups. I take out a cotton ball and Akaashi takes the cups and wipe, bringing them to the trash. "You need to apply pressure until the bleeding stops." I say and he nods as I gently apply pressure with the cotton ball.

Bokuto pouts, tears gathering in his eyes as his hair droops down. "Are you hurt anywhere else?" I ask and he huffs, taking over applying pressure. "Just my pride." Bokuto mumbles, making me giggle as I hug his head into my chest. "Everyone tumbles, Baby Owl. I'm just glad you weren't hurt more." I say before I pull his head back to look at me, the tears falling down from his face. "Thank you for cradling my head and not squishing me, Bokuto. Thanks to you I only came out with a sore butt, I'm grateful." I say, kissing his forehead, cheeks and nose, making his cheeks turn pink. "You're my hero." I say, offering him a sweet smile as he perks up, his eyes lighting up with excitement and his cheeks turning bright red. "It was nothing!" He chimes, puffing up his chest and beaming with pride as I giggle. "Oi, you better get your ass on that ice, Kiki! I didn't rent this place so you could sit on the bench!" Arthur says and I groan, turning to him. "But Bokuto cut his lip!" I say though Bokuto reaches over and pats my shoulder. "It's okay, I'll just watch you skate. I'm sure you're talented!" Bokuto chimes and I huff, crossing my arms. Kuroo chuckles, reaching over and squeezing my hand.

"It's my fault for distracting him, so I'll take care of him and keep him company. Trust me, he'll have plenty of fun with me. We're best bros." Kuroo says and I slowly nod, glancing between him and Bokuto. "Okay… when his lip stops bleeding, there's a cold compress in the medkit. Use it to reduce the swelling. There's also some pain meds if it hurts too much, you want to use these." I say, reaching in the medkit and pulling out some pain medicine for him. "Got it. Go have fun, Kitten. Make sure to put on a good show, we'll be cheering for you." Kuroo chimes, patting on my butt and making me hiss. "Ow!" I gasp and he groans, stroking my butt gently. "Shit, my bad. I forgot." Kuroo says and I huff, rubbing my butt as I head back out onto the ice. "Aww, poor little Kiki broke her ass on the ice? It was such a nice ass, too." Arthur teases, patting my butt though I slam my elbow into his ribs. "Arthur, I'll kick your ass." I snort and he laughs, beginning to skate perfectly beside me. "Wanna show off a little bit?" Arthur asks and I grin at him, beginning to hum 'somebody that I used to know'. He chuckles as we start dancing the song together, him throwing me into the air and catching me with ease.

I sing the song softly as we dance around, enjoying the thrill of dancing freely with Arthur- always in sync, never a wasted move. I laugh giddily as he lifts me into the air, posing as I hear whistling and cheering off the court. He sets me down and we stop, laughing together as he high fives me. "Oh yeah, still got it!" Arthur cackles, making me smile as I start skating circles around him. "When do we not have it?" I ask and he snorts, grabbing my arm and taking off, starting to dance 'don't rain on my parade'. We nail it perfectly, though by the time we stop my body is shaking as I crouch down, sliding along the ice. "I can't anymore, sorry!" I pant, making Arthur laugh through his own panting. "Wuss." He teases and I snort, knocking him to his ass and catching his head so he doesn't hit it. "What was that?" I ask as he scowls at me, sitting up. "Wonderful person." Arthur grumbles, rubbing his butt as I laugh at him. "That's what I thought, bitch." I tease and he sticks his tongue out at me. I hear the sound of someone skating onto the ice and I glance over, seeing Akaashi slide on. He's followed by Iwa and Toru- Bokuto was still in the stands with Kuroo and Kozu, a cold compress on his lip.

"Weren't you guys supposed to go back?" I ask as I skate over, though Toru skates over and scoops me up. "We decided to stick around for a bit! We got here at the same time as Kuroo, we were just getting our skates!" Toru chimes, spinning me around and making me laugh. "Oh, good, you missed seeing me fall on my ass." I say and Toru laughs, setting me down as we take off skating together. "You're surprisingly good at this, Toru!" I chime and he smiles widely at me, letting go. "Oh yeah, watch this!" Toru says, beginning to do some moves quite gracefully as I standby, admiring at a safe distance. "Iwa-chan!" Toru says, skating over to Iwai- Iwai lifts him up and they manage a pretty complex move, before Iwai puts his hands on Toru's chest. Toru spreads his arms and closes his eyes, smiling widely- right before Iwai dumps him into a trashcan. I can't help but crack up, everyone laughing hysterically as Toru gets stuck in the trash can. I bend over from laughing too hard as Iwai starts skating around, a big grin on his face. "Iwa-chan!" Toru whines as I skate over to the trash can, offering Toru a hand.

"Come on, Trashykawa." I say and he grimaces, taking my hand and pulling himself from the trash can. "Ugh, my back is all wet now." Toru grumbles as he strips off his shirt, wringing it out over the trash can. I glance in, wiggling my nose lightly as I offer him a half-hearted grin. "Just Bokuto blood and spit, I assure you." I say and Toru sticks out his tongue, dropping his shirt into the trash can. "Ew. No thank you." Toru grumbles and I laugh, taking his hand. "Come on, there's some wet wipes in the medkit. It'll work as a makeshift bath. Arthur, give me your shirt!" I say as I guide Toru up to Kuroo, Kozu and Bokuto, who still have the medkit. I pull out the wet wipes, using them to clean Toru's back as Arthur comes over and strips off his shirt. "Oh wow Arthur, you're actually pretty built." Toru says and Arthur grins, flexing his arms and showing off. "Oh yeah, you think I could keep up with Kiki any other way? She beats my ass!" Arthur cackles and Toru laughs, grinning back at me. "Kiki? That's really cute! I think I'll call you that from here on out." Toru chimes as he takes Arthur's shirt, though I just grin at him. "Only if I can call you Toto." I chime and he laughs, shaking his head.

"No, no, I'll stick with Little Cutie." Toru chimes and I gather the wet wipes I used. "That's what I thought." I snort before I skate back to the trash can, dumping the wipes in. "Iwai-Senpai!" I call before I begin to skate at him at high speed, catching him off guard. He spreads his legs, getting ready to lift me though as I get closer I drop down, sliding between his legs and grabbing his ankles. It knocks him off balance and I spin around, catching his head as he tumbles to the ground. "Payback for Toru." I cackle as his face turns red, his eyes widening. "You seriously just did that, oh, I'm gonna get you for that Babes." Iwai laughs as he sits up, cracking his knuckles. I push myself away from him, standing up and skating away as I laugh. "Catch me if you can!" I tease as I turn around, closing one of my eyes and pulling my other eyelid down as I wiggle my other hand at him. "Iwa-chan~" I say before I stick my tongue out at him- he starts skating toward me at high speed and I squeal. I turn around, laughing giddily as I take off skating as fast as I could, easily gaining speed. "Come here, Babes!" Iwai laughs as he chases me around the court, making my laugh even harder.

Toru cheers for me though I hear Iwai catching up with me as he cuts corners. "Akaashi!" I say as I hold out my hand- he grabs it, spinning and slingshotting me away as I hear Iwai curse. "No fair!" Iwai groans as he skids, changing direction to follow me. "You could've asked him to do the same for you!" I chime and Iwai groans, picking up speed. "Doesn't mean he would do it!" Iwai says and I laugh, turning around and raising my arms. "Doesn't mean he wouldn't do it." I chime before I turn back around- and I slam into a wall with a thud. "Shit!" I gasp though Iwai cages me in, laughing as he grins down at me. "Oh, the princess was going too fast. Too bad." Iwai chimes before his hands slide to my waist- he starts tickling me, making me laugh. "No- stop! Ha ha ha!" I squeal giddily, trying to push his hands away as he laughs, tickling me more. "Oh my- Haji, please! I- Bwa ha ha ha!" I laugh, beginning to crumble though he puts his leg between mine, holding me up. "Oh no, Babes, this is for defending Toru." Iwai chuckles and I begin to snort from laughing too hard. "Okay, okay! Ha ha ha! I get it! Hee hee- don't defend Toru!" I say and he stops tickling me, hugging me.

"Good, don't ever defend Toru from me." Iwai says as I catch my breath, still giggling. "But… I can defend myself, right?" I ask before I begin to tickle Iwai, catching him off guard as he starts laughing loudly. "Shit- No- pff- I wasn't ready!" Iwai laughs, trying to push my hands away though I persist. "Eye for an eye, Iwa-chan!" I laugh as I tickle him more, making him double over with laughter. "No way, Iwa-chan is ticklish?" Toru practically screams as Iwai grabs my thighs for support. "Shit- Babes- pffwa ha! Stop! I'm gonna- ha ha ha!" Iwai laughs as his grip on my thighs tightens, making me giggle. "You're gonna… what?" I tease and he chokes for air, looking up at me with red cheeks. "I'm gonna get a boner." Iwai hisses and I furrow my eyebrows as I tilt my head. "What's that?" I ask, raising an eyebrow as I pull my hands away. "You don't know what a boner is?" Iwai pants and I shake my head as he slowly stands up straight. "A hard on, you know…" Iwai mumbles, gesturing towards his crotch as I blink- it clicks in my head. "Shit! Sorry, I uh- I didn't realize." I say as my face burns, though I quickly turn away and clear my throat. "It's okay." Iwai chuckles, though Toru suddenly slams into Iwai.

"Iwa-chan is ticklish!" Toru chimes as Iwai presses into me, Toru tickling his sides and making him laugh. "Shittykawa- I swear to- aha ha ha ha! Stop it! I'm gonna kick your fucking ass!" Iwai laughs as his arms perch on either side of my head, though Toru persists. "No way! It's time for my revenge!" Toru laughs as he tickles Iwai faster, making him laugh harder as he hunches over me. "Shit- Sorry, Babes!" Iwai chokes out through his laughter as I feel him stiffen against me. I look up at Iwai, seeing his face bright red and his eyes shut tight. I press my body against him, making him tense- I reach past him and start tickling Toru. Toru squeals, scrambling back as he starts laughing, though Iwai pants for air, slowly opening his eyes and covering his mouth. "Uh, thanks. I'm gonna…" Iwai says before he takes off to the edge of the court, heading to the bathroom. "What was that? I thought he was gonna kick my ass!" Toru says as he skates back over to me, though I just drop my gaze. "Um, well, you did kinda pin him into me…" I say and Toru purses his lips, nodding his head. "Oh. My bad, I'd probably have the same reaction." Toru says, his cheeks pink as he itches the back of his head.

"Are you alright, Kimi-chan?" Kozu says from the other side of the wall, making me jump out of my skin as I grab onto Toru. "Shit! You scared the hell out of me!" I hiss, putting my hand to my chest as I glanced at him, Toru chuckling. "Yeah, yeah- I'm fine other than the heart attack you just gave me." I sigh, letting go of Toru and running a hand through my hair. "Your phone's been going off." Kozu says and I nod, heading out of the rink and over to my bag. I pull out my phone as it rings, clicking answer and putting it to my ear. "Hey." A vaguely familiar voice says and I blink, glancing at the number- it was Yuki's baby mama. "Hey?" I say as I put my phone back to my ear, furrowing my eyebrows as I sit down. "I heard you were in Tokyo. I was going to ask a favor from you." She says and I shift anxiously, beginning to take off my skates. "Um, depends on the favor?" I ask as Arthur glances back at me, raising an eyebrow. "Well, I was wondering if you could babysit for me while I meet with my lawyer. For obvious reasons I don't want to leave the baby with Yuki… I heard you're experienced and… you're the last person he'd expect." She says, sounding pretty anxious herself.

"Oh, yeah! Yeah of course, I can do that. Um, when do you need me?" I ask as I start putting on my shoes, pulling my backpack over my shoulder and grabbing my skates. "Hey, where are you going?" Arthur asks as I jog up the stairs, though I just wave him off. "Uh, whenever is convenient for you, but soon would be nice. I want to talk to my lawyer as soon as possible, I'm sure you understand." She says and I nod, putting the skates on the desk. "Yeah, totally. I can start heading there now if you'd like, just send me the location." I say and she sighs softly, making me smile. "You're a lifesaver. I'll send you the location now, I'll have her ready for you when you get here." She says and I nod my head, grabbing my blades. "Alright, uh, it might be a minute. I'm gonna stop and grab my car, it shouldn't be long, no rush on getting her ready." I say and I hear her begin to shuffle around. "Time to make sure she has everything she could possibly need." She giggles softly, making me giggle as I put on my rollerblades. "She's 4, right? Does she have any allergies that I should know of?" I ask and she starts listing them off as I skate out of the building, heading to the camp.

By the time I arrived at the camp I already knew the little girl's favorite snacks, any health concerns she might have, what she likes and what she doesn't like. I blade over to the Ford, seeing Suna leaning up against it with his hands in his pockets. "Hey." He says as I raise an eyebrow at him, sliding to my side of the car. "What's up? Aren't you supposed to be at school?" I ask as I unlock the car, though Suna slides into the passenger side as I slide into the driver side. "Arthur texted me asking me to camp the car to see if you showed since you disappeared again. I was ditching anyway, figured it was a chance to see you." Suna says, though I take off my rollerblades and put on my shoes. "I'm babysitting. I can drop you off if you want, but I gotta pick up the kid first." I say as I put my skates behind his chair, though he puts on his seatbelt. "Babysitting? Whose kid?" He asks and I put the keys in the ignition, twisting them before I put on my seatbelt. "Yuki's. I'm babysitting for the mama." I say as I pull up the directions, though Suna takes my phone and hums. "I'll guide you. I can also keep you company if you like." He says as I pull out of the parking space, heading out of the lot.

"And let her mother think I encourage skipping school?" I scoff, flashing him a cocky grin as he points to the right, which I take. "Aren't you technically supposed to be in school too?" He asks and I purse my lips, furrowing my eyebrows. "You got me, I mean, technically I'm excused, but you got me. I was just trying to give you an out in case you don't want to hang out with kids. It's a four year old little girl." I say and Suna shrugs, pointing to the left. "This might surprise you, but I actually like kids. The younger the better." Suna says and I laugh, taking the left and flashing him a grin. "Should I be concerned?" I say and Suna's lip twitches, pointing to an apartment complex. "If it's on the clock, she can get the cock." Suna mocks and I choke, shaking my head as I pull in front of the complex. "I swear to god, Suna, that's fucked up. I'm even more fucked up for wanting to laugh at it." I say and he laughs, offering me my phone. "It felt disgusting to say, if it gives you any comfort." Suna says and I take my phone, grabbing my backpack and my blades. "That gives me great comfort. I'll be back, we're gonna have a car seat." I say and Suna nods as we both step out of the car.

Suna kicks up his seat and I put my blades in the trunk before I jog up the apartment stairs. I knock on the apartment and she immediately opens it, offering me a smile. "Hey! Come in, I was just about to wrangle the girl." She laughs and I step in as she shuts the door before heading deeper into the house. "Okay, um, text me if you need anything. I'll call you as soon as I'm done with my lawyer and we can meet up." She calls as she comes back with a little girl in her arms. "Mommy, who's that?" The girl asks and I offer her a sweet smile, reaching my arms for her. "Hi sweetie! You must be Sakura, I'm Kimiko! I'm gonna be your babysitter today! We're gonna have fun together!" I chime and the girl's eyes light up with wonder as she's passed into my arms. "We are?" She asks and I offer her a sweet smile as her mother grabs her purse and backpack, stepping out and locking the door behind us. "Yup! We're gonna go to the park and have all kinds of fun together!" I say and her face spreads in a huge smile. "Really?!" She gasps in excitement and I nod, offering her a big smile. "Yup! I know this really cool park, I can't wait to take you!" I say as I begin walking her down the stairs.

"Oh! I wanna go, I wanna go!" She cheers as her mom laughs softly, following us down the stairs. "Oh trust me, we're going. I'm gonna take you in my cool car and we're going to have so much fun going down the slides and swinging~" I chime and she gets even more excited as we get to the bottom of the stairs. "That's my car right there! Super cool, right? That's my friend, Suna, he'll be keeping us company today. He's pretty cool too." I say as I point to the Ford, Suna leaned up against the side of the car with his hands in his pockets. "Oh, he's hot, in an edgy kind of way." Her mom mumbles and I can't help but hum as I look over at Suna. "Edgy? I mean, he's a really good guy." I say and her mom looks at me with curious eyes. "Are you two in a relationship?" She asks and I shake my head as we get closer. "No, I haven't been in one since…" I mumble, falling off though she nods in understanding. "I get it, it messes with my pretty bad too… but hey, there's always better fish in the sea, right? He was just a rotten egg." She chimes and I can't help but give her a smile. "Oh yeah, but hey, better to find out then be oblivious." I say and she sighs, nodding as we arrive at my car.

"The car seat is in my car. I'll go get it." She says, putting the backpack in my trunk and offering me a smile. She heads to a jeep and I gesture to Suna, offering Sakura a smile. "Suna, this is Sakura. Sakura, this is my friend, Suna." I say, though Suna offers Sakura a small grin. "Hi there, princess. Are you ready to go to the park?" He asks and Sakura's eyes light up in excitement. "Yeah! We're gonna slide and swing!" Sakura says, bouncing on my hip as she grins widely. "Oh yeah? How high can you swing?" Suna asks and the girl raises her hands. "Mommy and daddy always swing me really high! Like, swoosh!" She says, Suna smiling at the girl as he scoops her from my arms. "You mean like… Swoosh?" He says, swinging her into the air and making her squeal. "Yeah! Like that!" She giggles excitedly, Suna sitting her on his arm as he puts his hand on her back. "Well, I'll just have to beat their record. Do you think you can go higher?" Suna asks and the girl claps her hands excitedly. "Yeah! But Mommy and daddy always say no." The girl pouts as her mom heads back, car seat in hand. "We'll have to keep it a secret then." Suna says, making the girl giggle as she nods.

Suna was being so sweet with the girl, I couldn't smile as my heart fluttered in my chest. "God help my ovaries." Her mom cackles as she slides her torso into my car, putting the car seat in. "Mommy, what are ovaries?" Sakura asks and Suna chuckles, shaking his head. "You'll find out when you're older, princess." Suna says, though I notice her mom swooning as she pulls out of my car. "Ready to go, Sakura? Make sure to give your mom a hug and a kiss!" I say as she takes Sakura from Suna and grins at him. "You have fun sweetie, I'm sure that Suzuki and her friend have a great day planned for you." She says, the two hugging and kissing before she straps Sakura into the car seat. "I love you mommy, be safe!" Sakura chimes though I shut the trunk, rounding to my door. "If anything happens, here's my number. Of course, if you want, you can call for other reasons…" her mom purrs as she gives Suna a little piece of paper, though I feel a pang in my heart. My chest feels sort of tight as I slide into my seat, turning back to Sakura and offering her a smile. "Ready to see how cool my car is?" I ask and she makes her lips into an 'o' as her eyes light up, nodding enthusiastically.

I twist the keys in the ignition and it roars to life, purring as Sakura squeals in excitement. "Super cool!" Sakura says, pumping her fists excitedly as Suna slides into his seat. "Hope everything goes well." I call to her mom before I pull on my seatbelt, double checking to make sure everything was snug on Sakura. "See you sweetie! Mwa!" Her mom says before Suna shuts the door, pulling on his seatbelt. Sakura and I both wave before I pull away, beginning to drive as I turn on the radio. "I'm guessing you know her better than I do, but uh… she seems nice." Suna says and I shrug, though the pang in my chest returns. "I don't know her well. I mean, the only time we talked was when things went down… apparently she's heard about me. Asked me if I would babysit while she talks to her lawyer since I'd be the last place he looks." I mumble and Suna hums, finding a radio station that Sakura likes. "But yeah… she's nice." I mumble, Suna glancing over at me as a small grin spreads over his face. "She's pretty cute, too." Suna says and the pang comes back, though I wiggle my nose as I rub my chest. "Yeah… Yuki likes 'cute.'" I sigh and Suna hums, reaching over and taking my hand.

"You okay?" He asks and I shrug, keeping my eyes on the road. "Just some weird chest pains. My heart's been acting weird lately, I might go get it checked out." I sigh, though Suna sucks in a breath as he covers his mouth. "Chest pains?" He asks and I nod, his hand squeezing mine lightly as he turns to look at me. "It's probably nothing. This is the third ache in the last hour. Maybe it's heartburn." I mumble as I remove my hand from his, putting it on the gear shift. I switch gears before I hesitantly slide my fingers back into his, enjoying his heat. "When did it happen?" He asks and I glance back at Sakura, seeing her singing her little heart out to the song playing on the stereo, oblivious to our conversation. "Um… well, it started with a flutter when you were being sweet to… yeah, pretty sure that's the mom in me. Any mother likes seeing someone who makes children happy. But uh, when she gave you her number… my chest felt tight and I just… felt a pang I guess? I can't really explain it. It came back when you said she was nice, and again when you said she was cute." I say and Suna's cheeks tinting pink as he squeezes my hand. "Oh?" He asks, stroking his thumb over the back of my palm.

I hum affirmatively, keeping my eyes on the road as he just stares at me for a minute. "What?" I ask, sparing him a glance and raising an eyebrow at him. "Oh nothing, just thinking." He hums, though the song changed to 'scary love' as he leaned back in his chair. "She's not my type." Suna says, confusing me as I furrow my eyebrows. "I don't understand what you mean." I say as I shift the car gear again, sliding my fingers back into his, more confident this time. "I don't like her in the relationship sort of way. She isn't the type of person I go for." Suna says and I purse my lips, nodding my head. "Oh. Um, okay? If you don't want a relationship with her, that's on you to say." I say and Suna chuckles, laying his head on the headrest. "I'm not saying it to her, I'm saying it to you. It means I don't want anything from her, I'm not into her, I don't want what she's offering." He says and I pause at a stop light, glancing back at Sakura- she was really jamming out to this song. "I didn't really think she was offering anything, but then again I've always been clueless about these kinds of things." I say and Suna snorts, squeezing my hands though I slide my hand to the gearshift, holding it as I watch the light.

"I think you had an idea." Suna says and I shrug, the light turning green so I take off. "Well, yeah, I don't like to just assume things, but I figured she meant… like, a date or something. I mean, she said you were hot in an edgy kind of way and asked if we were in a relationship." I say and Suna hums, sliding his hand onto my thigh. "And what did you say?" Suna asks as I spot the park, the song coming to an end. "Well, I don't think you're edgy. I told her that I thought you were cool. When she asked if we were in a relationship, I told her no, I haven't been in one since…" I say as I pull into the parking lot, turning down the radio. "We're here sweetie! Wait for me to get you out, okay?" I ask and she nods, though I turn off the car and grab my backpack, slinging it over my shoulder as I step out of the car. Suna steps out also, kicking his seat up and stepping out of the way as I round to his side. "Aren't you curious what my type is?" He asks and I raise an eyebrow before I lean into the car, unbuckling Sakura and scooping her into my arms. I carefully pull her out, setting her down and taking her hand. "Hold my hand till we get to the park." I say and she nods, beginning to toddle her way over.

"Let's go!" Sakura says as Suna closes the doors and opens the trunk, grabbing the other backpack before shutting it. I lock the car, walking over to the park with him in tow. "No response?" He asks and I can't help but smile, glancing back at him as we get to the park. "Play time, Suna. The princess demands it." I say and he chuckles, stepping forward and scooping Sakura onto his shoulders, making the girl squeal. "Okay, princess. What do you want to do first, the slides or the swings?" Suna says and Sakura smiles, pointing over to the swing set. "Swings! Push me real high!" She chimes and Suna nods, holding onto her little chubby thighs as she grabs into his hair. "I like your courage, princess. Challenge accepted." Suna says, leading us over as I trail behind them, unable to help my smile as my heart flutters again. He was so sweet to her, it was so adorable with how giddy she was. Suna got her settled into the toddler swing before she reached over to the bag. "My buds! Mommy lets me listen to them while I swing!" Sakura says and Suna nods, reaching into the backpack and digging through, pulling out a small MP3 player with a pair of LOL earbuds.

"Oh my gosh, those are so cool!" I gasp as she smiles widely at me, taking the MP3 and earbuds. "They're my favorite! I love LOL, mommy and daddy buy them for me all the time!" Sakura says as she pops the earbuds in, fiddling around with the MP3 player. I reach over and turn it on for her, playing a song before clipping it onto her shirt. She gives me two big thumbs up before grabbing onto the swing, Suna beginning to push her. "Now can we talk?" He asks and I hum, taking a seat on the closest swing and beginning to lazily swing back and forth. The park was empty- it was during school hours, after all, I guess it was to be expected. "By all means, if you want to tell me your 'type', do so. I still have no clue what you mean by 'type', though." I say, though Suna starts pushing her higher, Sakura's giddy laughter begins to fill the park. I look over at the Girl- her strawberry blonde hair pulled into two small ponytails, her bangs flying in the wind. She was dressed in a blue shirt and a pleated skirt, though she wore shorts underneath. She wore crocs sandals on her tiny little feet, along with frilly white socks with strawberries on them. She was so cute, I wanted a baby girl.

I lean my head onto the chain as I smile at the girl, feeling my mother senses kicking in at the happy feeling of seeing a child enjoying themselves. It made me soft as I lightly kicked myself back and forth, putting my hands into my lap. "A type is something you're attracted to. Lots of people have a type, though some people don't have a set type or care for their types. It depends on your standards I guess, it can determine how you pick and choose your partners." Suna says and I hum, enjoying his soft voice as he pushes Sakura. "For instance, my type is… well, it's someone who knows the world ain't easy. They know how it can be, they deal with it anyway. Someone strong, I guess, though it's okay if they have their weak spots. I also like someone who's passionate, who doesn't hold back and doesn't give up easily. Someone who will stand their ground, even though things are guaranteed to get messy... I like people that are open and honest, who don't hide themselves, or at least they don't like to. Someone who wants to be free and to be themselves, not what someone else makes them out to be, because they're confident in themselves." Suna says and I hum softly, looking up at him.

He turned his gaze away- had he been staring at me? "I like someone who cares and helps others, even if it means hurting themselves sometimes or going out of their comfort zone; not too much, though. I also like someone who is good with kids, loves them really. Someone who looks at a kid and you can just see their face soften up, their eyes lighten and a smile spread on their face. Someone who puts a kid before anything." Suna says and I can't help but giggle as Sakura begins to sing the song she was listening to. "I could go on all day, really. It's really just aspects that you like about a person." Suna says and I hum, nodding as I lay my head back and close my eyes. "Sounds like you're looking for a very complex person. You just met Sakura's mom, how do you know she's not those things?" I ask and he chuckles, pushing Sakura a little higher and making her squeal in delight. "Because she stayed with someone who hurt her, who betrayed her and was a horrible person. You didn't. You turned around and didn't look back- the only reason you did was to get her out of that situation and you did so with a heavy heart. I respect that." Suna says softly and I turn to look at him- he was watching Sakura.

"What's your type?" He asks, glancing over at me as I hum, looking back up at the sky. "I don't know. I never really thought about it but… someone nice who genuinely cares for me? Seems reasonable enough." I say and Suna chuckles, turning his gaze back to Sakura. "Someone who's good with kids?" Suna asks and my lips twitch into a smile as I look at Sakura. "Well, yeah. Someone who is okay with kids is good too. I mean, not everyone is good at it. As long as they aren't straight- uh, terrible- with kids, they're okay in my books." I say and Suna nods, a smile forming on his face. "I feel that." He says as he stares idly into the distance, gently pushing Sakusa now. "There has to be something you like in a guy." Suna says and I hum softly, settling down on my swing. "As I said, I've never really thought about it. I'm sure there's lots of things to find and appreciate about people, but… I've always just been focused on the people themselves. Actions speak louder than words and all that." I say and Suna nods, glancing over at me and shifting lightly. "Is there something you like about me? Or that you find attractive?" Suna says and I hum, looking over at him and thinking about it.

"You're hot. You are good looking, don't get me wrong, but I mean temperature wise. It's nice, the heat- it soothes me and makes me feel good. I like that." I say, seeming to startle Suna as he pushes Sakura. "I also like that you let me be myself. You accept me for who I am and what I've done… It means a lot to me. I don't know, I also feel like I don't deserve it, but it does make me really happy. It makes me feel like a little bit of my life is... okay." I admit, Suna pausing as he looks over at me, Sakura slowly stopping swinging. I slide off the swing and move in front of her, offering her a sweet smile as I tap my ear. She pulls out her earbud and smiles up at me. "Wanna go on the slide now?" I ask and she squeals excitedly, kicking her feet. "Yeah! Can we go on the big slide, please!" She says and I scoop her out of the swing, carrying her over to the playset. "Okay, but I get to ride with you. I like the slide too." I say as I take her MP3 and earbuds, giving them to Suna as he follows behind us. "Do you have LOL?" Sakura asks and I hum, carrying her into the playset. "No, but I do like them." I say and Sakura gasps in excitement as we get to the slide, Suna settles at the end of the slide.

"I like opening them! I always get the ones that I don't like, but one time I got my favorite!" Sakura says and I can't help but giggle as I sit down at the slide with her in my lap. "Oh yeah? Who's your favorite?" I ask and she gives me a big cheesy smile. "I like Cheer Captain! Who do you like?" She asks though I slide down with her, making her squeal happily. "I like B.B. Bop and Leading Baby. They're all really cute, though." I say as Suna helps her off the slide before I take her, going to slide down again. "Why do you like Cheer Captain?" I ask as I climb onto the playset, though Sakura claps her hands excitedly. "Cause she's a cheerleader!" She says as we get to the slide and I sit down again, settling her in my lap. "Oh yeah? Do you like cheerleaders?" I ask and she nods enthusiastically, squealing excitedly as we go down the slide. "Yeah! They're so cool!" Sakura and I smile at her as Suna helps her up. "Oh yeah? I'm a cheerleader." I say and Sakura gasps in excitement, clapping her hands over her mouth. "Oh! Please, cheer, cheer!" She says and I laugh, hopping off the slide. "You wanna see me do cheer things?" I ask and she nods enthusiastically, pumping her fists.

"Okay, I'll show you." I say and I walk away, finding a good spot to take off. I dash forward before I do some gymnastic moves, going backwards and forwards as Sakura gasps and squeals happily, clapping enthusiastically for me. "So cool!" She gushes as I walk back over, taking her from Suna. "If you practice really hard and don't give up, you can do that stuff too!" I say and she gasps like I just changed her whole world. "Really?! I wanna learn!" She says and I offer her a smile, setting her down. "I can teach you a little bit. Wanna try?" I ask and she starts dashing around in circles, squealing happily. "Yes! Yes yes yes!" She says and I laugh, beginning to show her and help her through some simpler moves, Suna settling down on a bench nearby with our things. He watches us with a faint smile and soft eyes, kicking his legs out and putting his hand in his pockets. "Okay, this time, try it by yourself. I'll be here to catch you if you fall." I say and she nods, looking determined as she raises her hands over her head. She rolls forward, doing a cartwheel- though she topples over halfway. I catch her and set her back on her feet, smiling widely at her as I clap my hands.

"You did so well! One more try, I know you'll get it!" I say and she nods, putting her hands back up. She hesitates this time but I cheer for her- she squeezes her eyes shut before she rolls forward. She does the cartwheel perfectly and I squeal, bouncing excitedly as she opens her eyes wide and smiles widely at me. "I did it!" She says and I scoop her up, throwing her into the air. "You did it! So cool, right? You got it in your second try! It took me so many more times!" I say, catching her and setting her back down as she squeals and bounces around. "I can't wait to show mommy!" She says, pumping her fists as I laugh, clapping my hands. "Let's keep practicing for now, that way you can show her how good you are at it!" I say and she nods enthusiastically, starting to do her own cart wheels around. There's a mix of tumbles, but I catch her and give her subtle pointers and help her get the hang of it. By the time she has it down to a T, she's panting from exhaustion and grinning from satisfaction. "Good job! You're doing so well, your hard work is paying off!" I say and we high five, smiling at each other. "Your mom's gonna be so proud! I know I am!" I say and her smile widens even more.

"Speaking of hard work, all that work made me hungry." I ask and her eyes twinkle as she rubs her tummy. "Me too! Can we go get chicken nuggets?" She asks and I laugh, scooping her up into my arms. "You bet we can! Hard working girl deserves chicken nuggets!" I say as I set her on my hip and she cheers. "Come on Suna, the princess demands chicken nuggets!" I cheer, glancing over and seeing his head was laid back. "Oh, I think he fell asleep." I laugh as I walk over, glancing to make sure nothing was missing. "You gotta wake him up with kisses! That's how sleeping beauty was woken up, with true love's kiss!" Sakura whispers and I grin at her as I adjust her on my hip. "Oh yeah? I guess I'll just have to see if my love is enough to wake him up." I say and she giggles, though I round to the back of the bench and lean over, kissing Suna's forehead. His lips twitch- he was awake, he was pretending to be asleep. "No, silly, you gotta kiss the lips or else he won't wake up!" Sakura says and I snort, flicking Suna's forehead. "Such unrealistic standards, it needs to be 'True Love' and a kiss on the lips?" I mumble and Suna's lips curl into a smile as he chuckles softly.

"Don't shatter the poor girls dreams now, come on." Suna says, tapping his lips as he drapes his arm over the back of the bench. "My kiss worked. He's awake and practicing criticism." I say, gesturing towards Suna though Sakura just giggles. "I'm just sleep talking. Still asleep- my eyes haven't opened." Suna says and I can't help but laugh as he grins. "Oh, I didn't realize you were capable of having a fully intelligent conversation in your sleep. I'd feel even worse for kissing you in your sleep, you know, harassment and all." I say though Suna shushes me, tapping his lips again. "I'm asleep. I need a kiss to wake up." Suna says and I snort, showing Sakura two fingers. I tap them on Suna's lips and grin widely as his eyes open. "See, he's wide awake. All it took was a kiss on the forehead." I say, grinning as I show him my two fingers. He scoffs, reaching up and grabbing the back of my neck. He pulls me into a kiss, tilting his head lightly as he wraps his arm around my neck. He slides his tongue into my mouth, though he uses his hand to block Sakura's vision. I moan softly as I nip his tongue, eliciting a groan from him. I battle his tongue and he hums, though Sakura squeals giddily.

"Suna." I mumble into his kiss and he sighs, pulling his mouth away from mine. He moves his hand into my hair, giving me a sweet and chaste kiss before letting me go. "I'm awake. Let's go get chicken nuggets." Suna chuckles as I feel my cheeks burn, grabbing my bag. "Yes, chicken nuggets." I say, walking to the car, Sakura chanting for her 'chicken nuggets' as I unlock the car. I head to Suna's side, opening up the door and sliding my torso in so I can strap Sakura in. Once I'm sure she's secure, I move to pull out- though Suna smacks my ass, making me jump. "Ouch!" I gasp and rub my ass, Suna raising an eyebrow at me as I round to the trunk. "I fell on it." I grumble and he rounds over to me as I pop the trunk, putting my backpack in. "Oh, my bad. Sorry, Sunshine." Suna says, settling behind me and pulling me flush against him, wrapping his arms around me. His lips find the back of my neck as he gently strokes my hips, pulling me against him- he had a boner. "Maybe I can make it up to you..." Suna whispers roughly into my ear, making me shiver as I suck in a sharp breath. My body lit up in his heat, lightly grinding my ass into him as I met his heated and hungry gaze.

"Maybe… maybe not." I whisper, sliding my hand into his hair and pulling him into a kiss. I nip his bottom lip and slide my tongue into his mouth, eliciting a groan from him as I gently tug his hair. His tongue slides against mine though I pull away, taking the backpack from his shoulder. "But for now…" I purr as I toss the backpack into the trunk, pulling it closed. I slide my bottom lip through my teeth, grinning at him as I look him up and down. "Chicken nuggets." I say, wiggling my eyebrows at him and making him laugh heartily as I giggle. I slid out of his arms and into the driver's seat, Suna rounding into the passenger seat. "Chicken nuggets it is." He chuckles as we put on our seatbelts- I double check to make sure Sakura was snug before I take off to the diner, blasting Sakura's radio station and singing along together. "Man, this station is the jam. Not sure if it's kid friendly material, though." I say as I turn the stereo down, having just pulled into the parking lot of the diner. "Oh, no, definitely not kid friendly." Suna snorts as I park, taking off my seatbelt and reaching for the keys as the next song plays- 'high enough'. "Yeah, it's not." I snort as I turn off the car, cutting the song off.

"You know that song?" Suna says and I grin over at him, cupping his chin. "I'm already high enough, you got me you got me good. I only, I only got eyes for you." I sing before I slide out of the driver's side, shutting the door as Suna gets out of his side, kicking his seat up. "I dunno if I should be surprised." Suna says and I shrug, rounding the car and leaning in to unbuckle Sakura. "I know a lot of songs, I mean a lot." I say, though I feel Suna's hand gently stroking my ass. "Hands off the merchandise, Sir." I chime jokingly though he chuckles, his hand sliding over the exposed skin of my thigh under my skirt. "Sorry, I can't resist." He says, settling behind me and pressing his hard cock against my ass. "Yeah, well, I'm coming out." I snort and he groans, stroking my hip lightly before pulling away. "I never knew that it could be this hard." Suna says as I pull Sakura out of the car, rounding to the trunk. "Chicken nuggets, Suna. Think of the chicken nuggets." I say and he shuts the door, snorting as I pop the trunk. "I'd rather be eating something else." Suna says, winking at me and making me blush as I grab my backpack, slinging it over my shoulder as he grabs the other.

"Something else? What's better than chicken nuggets?" Sakura asks, looking between us as Suna shuts the trunk and I lock the car. "A big juicy burger." Suna says as we start walking to the diner, slinging the backpack over his shoulder and sliding his other arm around my waist. "French fries with honey mustard, sweet and sour or ketchup." I say, Suna chuckling as he nods. "Oh yeah, that too." Suna says, opening the door for me before we wait to be seated. "I like my chicken nuggets with ketchup!" Sakura chimes and I hum, nodding my head. "A classic. I don't blame you. When it comes to my nuggets, I spice it up sometimes with barbeque sauce. I usually go for my favorites though." I say, Sakura nodding in agreement as she crosses her arms. "Me too. Ranch is good too." She says and I hum, pursing my lips. "I dunno about that, chief. I can barely stand ranch on my french fries. Even then it's gotta be with cheese involved, and it has to be the right kind of cheese." I say and Sakura giggles, shaking her head. "You don't like ranch?" She asks and I quickly shake my head. "Oh no, I love ranch. With broccoli, carrots, and salads." I say though Sakura makes a weird face.

"Ew! Vegetables are nasty." Sakura grumbles and I can't help but laugh at her as she sticks her tongue out. "I used to think the same thing, but it turns out that I just didn't like the way it was prepared. Like steamed broccoli- I could eat it in my broccoli beef, but not in cheese or by itself. I like to eat it fresh with ranch. Carrots too, but it has to be baby carrots. I like those in roast or in fried rice too." I say and Sakura hums, crossing her arms and wiggling her nose. "I guess…" she mumbles as the hostess comes over, smiling as she grabs two menus and a kids menu. "Hello, I'll be taking you to your seats now. Would you like a booster seat?" The hostess asks and I nod, giving her a smile. "Yes, please." I say and she nods, grabbing a booster seat from behind the counter."Does your mom try to feed you steamed broccoli and carrots?" I ask as the lady guides us to a booth. "Yeah, but it's yucky." Sakura mumbles and I nod my head in agreement. "I totally get it, I don't like steamed vegetables either. It's the texture, isn't it? They're just like mush, it doesn't feel right in the mouth." I say and Sakura gasps as we slide into the booth, though I settle her down in the booster seat.

"It is like moosh! Yuck! Plus it tastes weird." Sakura says and I nod my head in agreement. "I know! It tastes like a… a yucky mushy broccoli cloud." I say and Suna laughs, sitting on the other side of the booth. "Your server will be with you in a moment." The hostess says and I nod, turning to Sakura. "That's because it's steamed though. It's a way to cook broccoli- some people like it, some people don't. You should try it fresh, maybe with some ranch like me. You might be surprised how much you like it." I say and Sakura purses her lips, opening up her menu. "But what if I don't like it?" She asks and I shrug my shoulders, opening my menu. "Then don't eat it, I won't force you. If you don't like it, you don't like it. You won't know unless you try." I say and she hums, setting the pack of crayons to the side. "I'll let you in on a little secret; I hate radishes. Absolutely despise them, I only know cause I tried it in lots of ways, and each time it was even yuckier. Carrots and Broccoli only got yummier the more I tried it." I say, Sakura giggling lightly as I flip through the menu. "Hello, I'll be your server today, can I get you started off with something to drink?" The server asks as she comes over.

"Do you want Apple juice, Sakura?" I ask and she nods enthusiastically, smiling widely at me. "Yes please!" She says and I turn to the server, smiling at her. "Apple juice for the little lady, I'll have water." I say, turning to Suna as he leaned back in his chair. "Water for me as well." He says, grinning at me as I felt his knees brush against mine. I smile back at him, flipping to the next page and noticing they had a strawberry banana french toast. "Are you ready to order or would you like some more time?" The server asks and I glance at Suna- he hadn't even opened his menu. He nods and I turn to Sakura, glancing at her menu. "Do you want that?" I ask, pointing to the chicken nuggets with a choice of a side. "Yes!" She chimes and I nod, glancing back to my menu and flipping quickly flipping through. "Do you want to try carrots and broccoli?" I ask and she wiggles her nose, grabbing her crayons. "If you don't like it you don't have to eat it, I can get some french fries for us to share." I say and she looks up at me with twinkling eyes. "Okay! I'll try!" She says and I reach over and pat her head. "Okay." I say, offering her a smile before I order for us, Suna ordering a burger.

We give the lady our menus, Sakura beginning to scribble over hers with her crayons. I lightly rub my ankle against Suna's, seeming to relax him even more as he offers me a lazy smile. "Did you know that french fries are made from Potatoes?" I ask and Sakura looks at me with wide eyes. "No way!" She gasps and I laugh, nodding my head. "Yes, way. So are hash browns and tater tots, it's all in the way they're prepared. I love potatoes. I go crazy for mashed potatoes. Sometimes I cook one up, mash it with butter, sour cream, cheese, salt and pepper. It's so good, if I could I'd eat it all the time. If I had to choose one food to eat all my life, it'd be potatoes. There's so many ways to eat and prepare it, so many things you could do with it. There's yucky ways to prepare it too, like au gratin potatoes. I hate it, it's so yucky." I say, flicking my fingers and sticking my tongue out in disgust though Sakura giggles. "Well, I like potatoes, too!" Sakura chimes and I flash her a smile as she keeps scribbling on her menu. "Potato is a vegetable, so you like a vegetable!" I say and she nods her head, a smile on her face. "How are potatoes made?" Sakura says and I hum, leaning my head back.

"Potatoes are made by putting a seed potato into dirt. With lots of sun, care and water, it'll sprout it's roots and flowers. Underground it'll grow lots of potatoes." I say and Sakura hums, kicking her legs idly. "Sounds like a lot of work!" Sakura says, making me laugh as I slide my hand out to Suna. "Oh, it is. Farmers spend their whole lives doing that work so we can take our fruits and vegetables home. It's important to appreciate their hard work, because if they didn't put in the care and dedication, we wouldn't have that luxury. Nutrition scientists too, they study our diets and make sure we know what we should eat and how much of it we should eat. If it weren't for them, we wouldn't have a proper diet. Without a proper diet, we wouldn't be able to dance like cheerleaders." I say, knowing that she probably wouldn't understand what I was saying. I notice the lady coming back with our drinks and I offer her a smile. "Hey, let's put the crayons away until food comes and wash our hands, okay?" I ask and she nods, wrapping her crayons up in her menu and setting it to the side. I scoop her up and take her to the bathroom, both of us washing our hands before heading back to the table-

"Hey guys." I say as I get back to the table, 'Samu and Kita sitting beside Suna, Aran sitting next to my seat. "Hey gorgeous. Who's this little cutie?" 'Samu coos as Aran slips out to let me get to my seat. "This is Sakura, I'm her babysitter today." I say as I smile at Aran, sliding in and putting Sakura back in her booster seat. "Sakura, these are friends of ours. That's Osamu Miya, Shinsuke Kita and uh… Aran." I say as I sit back down, Aran sitting beside me and draping his arm over the back of the bench. "It's nice to meet you! You can call me 'Samu!" 'Samu says, smiling at Sakura as she smiles at him, kicking her feet. "Hi 'Samu! It's nice to meet you too." Sakura says as I turn to Aran, looking him over. "Hey, um, do you by any chance know what's up with you know who?" I ask and Aran just gives me his barely there smile with closed eyes. "Well, I know it's something to do with his family trying to force him into things he doesn't want to do." Aran says and I sigh, looking up at the ceiling and shaking my head. "Of course. I really wonder how he deals with it sometimes. I mean, it's gotta be difficult." I mumble, Aran nodding in agreement as I slowly drop my head down to the table.

"I don't know… the extent you guys go to… but if you could, please, give him a good time. He may not look it, but… he's really sensitive about that kind of stuff. It tears at his mind and just puts him in a funk… a rose will cheer him up more than you think." I say, though Aran chuckles and pats my shoulder softly. "Flowers on the bed, candles- I'll give him the works." Aran says and I can't help but laugh, shaking my head. "Oh god, I don't need the details. I'm sure he'll give me plenty later on." I say, making Aran laugh as he puts his hand back how he had it. "But thank you. I appreciate it." I say, offering him a smile as I gently bump my shoulder into him. "You got it. He means a lot to me, too." Aran says and I can't help the smile that spreads over my face, knowing that Aran genuinely cared for Arthur. "So, are you guys eating with us? We already ordered…" I say as I pick up my water, taking a sip- Sakura has already broken into her apple juice. "If it's alright with you, we'd like to join." Kita says and I offer him a smile, leaning back in my booth. "Fine by me, just stay away from my fries and Sakura's chicken strips." I say, looking at Sakura as she nods enthusiastically.
