1 PROLOGUE

 At first Xiao You Ren thought he would be fine when he decided to leave his father's house.  Studying outside the city, living alone in a simple apartment and working to support his own life.

 However, his estimation was far from the reality which he had to swallow whole.  Everything was very difficult, even to breathe it felt like being crushed by hundreds of kilograms of dust.  Every night, winter seemed to come in his narrow bed.  Sneaking into his thick blanket and piercing the pores of his skin.

 It turned out that being away from his older brother did not make Xiao You Ren happy.  It was just that Xiao You Ren didn't like living with his married brother, he didn't like being left alone.  It wasn't that Lim Sun Liam, Han Yu's wife, was a bad woman.  She was kind, even very good to him and his brother.

 Xiao You Ren was just jealous of their warmth.

 Even though he tried to stay away from Han Yu, but family was still family.  He couldn't get away from Han Yu completely.  In addition to the cost of living and schooling is still borne by the man, also a corner of his heart longs for the warmth of a family.  Xiao You Ren was too stubborn to listen to his inner voice, returned to his family and enjoyed what fate had laid out on the table of his life.  He chose another path to achieve pseudo happiness.

 Meeting and establishing relationships with several people, made him increasingly aware that fate was never on his side.  Until finally, he himself will be stubborn to determine the story of his life journey.

 He has been living in the apartment alone for more than four years, but still he has not been able to make good friends with the dark and cold that often enters the small room.  There will be times when he will feel so lonely that he thinks that there is only him in this world.  To overcome this Xiao You Ren chose to keep a cat, at least he didn't feel completely alone.

 After graduating as a student, Xiao You Ren decided to work as an employee at one of the city's design firms.  Not without reason, Xiao You Ren was just trying to completely let go of Han Yu's role in his life.  That was what Xiao You Ren thought.  Even though Han Yu himself didn't agree with his younger brother's decision, but he couldn't do anything to force Xiao You Ren.  So that he reluctantly let Xiao You Ren do as he wished, Han Yu would only be a silent observer.
