She spent almost all her day in the office, calling different people and working on her computer.

Lucy entered the office with some files and dropped it on her table.

"These are some of the models profile. I've checked almost the details of some models outside. When you said we should not use some of our models."

Sabrina looked at the file she brought and opened the first one.

OCCUPATION: Model, Actress and Singer.

AGE: 25 yrs old.

MANAGEMENT: Monique entertainment industry.

She dumped the file at her other table, before picking the next one. She glanced through it like she did the first one.

She dumped almost all the files, until she got to one.

NAME: Sylvester Jacqueline

OCCUPATION: Model, Actress and Singer.

MANAGEMENT: Glow Stars entertainment industry.

"That's jackie. She's one of the best actresses in the USA. She's best known for her role in SURVIVAL." Lucy said happily.

"Yes." She knew her. She's one of her friends in highschool. She's the one celebrating her birthday the weekend.

She kept the file on her table.

"I will contact her tomorrow morning. Inform Sylvia to prepare for the opening singing. Let's call it a day." She said and stood up closing her files.

"Ok Director." Lucy said, packing the file on the table.

She drove into her street when her phone rang. She picked it up, putting it on loud speaker.

"Hello mom" She said to the caller.

"Come home." Her mother said and she clenched her fist tight on the steering wheel

"To do what exactly? To compare me again to your lovely daughter?"

"Why do you always behave like a bastard? When have I ever treated you separately. I've always treated you equally." Her mother sneered.

"What is your purpose for calling?" She asked.

"Next weekend is your father's 60th birthday, won't you come home? Your sister is already wishing him in advance, but you.... sighs.... Don't become an unfilial daughter. Just try and come home, okay? Many influential people will come, then you might finally see the man of your choice. Don't fight for Xavier again, he's in love with your sister and she's also in love with him." Her mother said and she hung up immediately.

She wished she had hung up on her before her mother did.

She regretted it everyday. The betrothed she once loved, that betrayed her. He was the reason she rejected the only guy that loved her and stood for her.

After what happened that year, she lost him.

She entered her room and took off her clothes and picked up her towel, when she noticed the person in the bed, with a facial mask on the intruder's face and she shouted.

"Aaaaaaaaaaargh!"

"You should have called me and tell me you are coming, I wouldn't have been so shocked." She said drying her hair with a short towel. She was already in her night wears.

"Like I haven't informed you that I will be coming today." Jessi said nonchalantly, putting off the facial mask she had applied.

"Thought you would be angry for yesterday." Sabrina said mockingly, applying her facial mask.

"I don't hold grudges, you know that too. If I am still angry, you know what I would have done. I would have broken one of your ribs."

"Trust you on that." Sabrina laughed and sat beside Jessi on the bed.

"Feed me about what happened in the past few days I've gone." Jessi said smiling sheepishly.

Jessi is an Indian-American, that makes her so pretty. Even Sabrina always envy that she was so pretty and pray to have just a little of her beauty. She's always been chosen as the most beautiful woman in the world, for five years in a row.

Sabrina told her what had happened, even about her mother that called.

"Mr Andrew is that shameless? I wouldn't have set the blind date."

"You shouldn't." Sabrina rolled her eyes. "Just stop setting blind dates, they don't work." She said.

"Well, I'll think about it. But that your mom, she's..... What should I call it. Shameless? If not because of that her vile daughter of herd, Xavier would still have been yours."

"He was never mine to begin with. I blame myself almost every day." Sabrina said with a down voice.

"Sweetheart, you shouldn't blame yourself. Those two are the shameless ones. They betrayed you, so don't feel bad at all.". Jessi said and she nodded.

"So, you should let us go to Jackie's birthday."

"You still on that?"

"Of course. I never said I'm not going to do that. Let us go to the party, there is something I want you to see. A very big surprise. Someone you will never expect is coming."

"And who is that person?"

"It's a surprise. You will meet the person there."

Sabrina rolled her eyes before saying:

"Our mysterious boss is attending the 10th anniversary of WD enterprises."

"Really! Are you sure? That your ghost boss?" Jessi asked.

"Yes. And as the director of entertainment department, I wanna invite Jacqueline as the model for that day."

"Are you mad? When I am a model, you can't even invite me. Like what the heck! And you know I won't be able to see that your damn mysterious boss again. You are really a bad friend, a backstabber indeed! Aaahh! You just made me lose a big opportunity."

Sabrina watched her rants and rants, rolled her eyes before saying:

"Calm down! You are invited."

"That's why you are always my bestie." Jessi hugged her screamingly.

"When is Jackie's birthday?" Sabrina asked.

"On Saturday. She said she will be introducing her boyfriend to us."

"Boyfriend? You mean Alan Miller? The popular hollywood actor from Starwood company?"

"I don't think is Alan. It seems like this person isn't from the industry. I think the person is damn rich. Maybe her sugar daddy." Jessi said bringing out a box.

Sabrina reluctantly nodded. She looked at what Jessi brought and curiously asked. "What is this?"

"And what does it look like?" Jessi snorted.

"Fried chicken?" She asked as Jessi was opening the box.

"No, Beef." She replied after she opened it.

"Wow! It's actually chicken. What I've been waiting for all this while." Jessi said while Sabrina rolled her eyes and they both laughed.
