What is this feeling?

Zsadin sensed that her jacket had become wet while his black shirt was fully drenched. Her eyes followed the trail of wetness and widened as the blood had stained the floor.

'Holy shit! He has been bleeding thoroughly!'

He started swinging as his mind started losing focus and he felt dizzy but tightened his grip on her. Finally, he swayed to her side, his head resting on her shoulder and Zsadin felt a heavy burden pushed onto her.

Zsadin felt a warmth spread onto her body, a very sweet feeling making its way through her heart. She felt in place for the first time.

Zsadin carefully positioned him in a sitting posture against the wall and rushed out, her heart beating so wildly that she thought it would burst out of her rib cage. Finding her way to the exit, she spotted Ryan near the receptionist and heaved a sigh of relief.

"Excuse me, miss. A person named Caleb is injured over in the room opposite the restroom and he has lost consciousness. It seems he was stabbed in the arm", Zsadin panted heavily while Magnus who stood on the side rushed to where she had pointed out.

"Chief, we should leave. I have collected all necessary information we could need. If we don't move now, traffic hours would start. It could get late", Ryan eagerly pleaded. When he had gone to call her, she didn't respond and now she said she was in some other room.

It was not in her nature to be overly curious as in checking out the other rooms!

He could sense that something was wrong and wanted to take her out of here.

Seeing her not even flinching out of her place, he dragged her out. Zsadin did everything in a daze, as if she was leaving something very important here.

'What is this feeling?'

'Why do I feel so empty?'

She controlled her urge to rush back inside and check his injury. She wanted to dress it up with her own hands, god, she wanted to check on him so desperately, but....

Her sub-conscious tried to reason it out but failed miserably. She stood, confused between the call of duty and this weird attraction.

"Chief, we should hurry, please!", Ryan's desperate voice filled her ears and she finally looked at him. But the way, her eyes seemed so confused and lost, made Ryan lose his sanity.

"Zsadin, hurry up! Wear your helmet and start the bike. We need to go!", and she finally obliged.
