The closeness was bothering him...

"Mr. Orion, you yourself said 'prime suspect', not proven murderer. I think you have lost your mind", Zsadin wasn't bothered and finally Caleb gave up.

He was about to change his tactics when Zsadin rushed at him and flunged a pocket knife on his neck.

"Mr. Orion, what was your purpose of bringing me here?", her voice ranging low in his ears, her face just mere inches from his. The closeness was bothering him and without thinking about the consequences he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, their lips almost touching.

"M-Mr. Orion, wh-what are you doing?", a flabbergasted Zsadin stammered. Her breathing got fast as she was being pressed so close and couldn't seem to gather her senses. No matter how much she tried, she couldn't meet his eyes.

"Once, just once....call me by my name! Please!", his voice was hoarse as he stared into her black orbs which were deep like a bottomless pit.

"M-Mr. Orion, leave me! I can't be like this!", her pleading voice was driving him insane. He tightened his grip and pinched her chin, forcing her to look at him. The moment she saw his caramel brown eyes, her world stopped.

She believed it or not, at the moment she only wanted to drown in those eyes.

"Call me by my name, Officer", the desperation in his voice was enough to rip her heart apart. His voice is so smooth, but wait.....Officer!

And her senses returned. She pushed him away and glared at him.

"Mr. Orion, this is the last time I am warning you! Behave yourself!" and she turned away from him.

"Miss Zsadin, I understand how you feel. But can't you leave the past behind and just stay by my side, can't you?", he let out the words he had kept hidden away.

Zsadin turned to look at him with a are-you-serious expression. But before she could rebuke him, he scooted closer to her.

"No, no. Please don't answer me now! I am not positive about this, but can't you atleast give it a thought? Please!", he pleaded as if his life depended on it.

Surprised, Zsadin backed a few stops away from him.

"Mr. Orion, let me remind we are not in a position to be spouting nonsense right now! Shut that crap!", saying this she again turned away from him and sat down on her stool again.

Caleb awakened from his stupor and absentmindedly addressed her.

"I will arrange someone to take you back!"
