She knew him, she knew his past...

Her eyes gave out a dull expression as if mocking him. The way she looked at him shook Caleb to the core.

How does she know my surname?

The construction tycoon, Mr. Caleb was without a surname. It seemed odd to everyone but his intimidating gaze frightened everyone and they dared not ask him. His business partners, colleagues and gang men had a first hand experience on this. He had never revealed his surname, rather manipulated the person who asked it.

But here, this woman, the love of his life, stood more intriguing like she knew. She knew him, she knew his past. The past hidden with malice and wickedness. Her face had slight bruises and blood seeped out from a almost invisible injury on her lower lip.

But before he could pull her to his side and ask her, she strolled out from the hall. Not sparing him another glance, Zsadin boarded the car they had arrived in. She sat on the passenger's seat, indicating to Ryan that she didn't wanted to drive. Seeing her low mood, he was anxious and worried and secretly texted Jacobs. The remaining batch jumped in the same car and started chitchatting joyfully. Their cheerful voices soothed Zsadin and she drifted off to wonderland. Ryan had just started driving and accidentally glanced at her. Sleeping peacefully, her face was soaked in satisfaction. A few strands of her hair, fallen on her face with slight injuries made her seem like a fallen angel. It was then that he signalled everyone to talk softly.

As expected she was wide awake when they reached the HQ and rushed out of the car before the car had fully stopped startling Ryan and the others. Almost running to the left wing hospital, she rushed into someone.

Muttering a low apology she again hurried to see Elder Cooper.

Without knocking, she entered startling him so much that he dropped his glass of water.

"Ah, who is it? Are you mentally-", seeing Zsadin so haggard he stopped cursing and grumbled.

"Why are you here? Such insolent brat!"

"Where is Brandon? Which ward?", the impatience in her voice interested Elder Cooper.

Hah! It seems I found one weakness! Meanwhile, Zsadin knew what this old hag was thinking, she smirked.

"He ....he is in ward 23. Beside him is the pop trash and next to him is the one whom you shot in the hand. Poor brat! He won't be able to-....hey listen to me first", and she rushed to the ward 23 and saw Brandon sleeping.

This man had destroyed her sleep for this many years and now was himself sleeping so peacefully. His stable mind.....she thought.

'Don't worry Brandon and sleep as much as you want. Once I dig that information out of you, I will send you to your beloved sister!' the evil smirk could have killed. If anyone would saw her current expression, they would be scared as hell and would not even dare wonder what she is plotting!

Ryan rushed to her side and Zsadin coldly looked at him.

"Do me a favour. Arrange an officer to look over him, talk to Chief Jacobs about this and recommend James. Do it right now!"

As soon as Ryan left, a smirk crawled it's way upto her lips.
