She could be disgusted by him!

James stood in front of Zsadin's office, contemplating whether to go inside or not. Finally he decided and knocked.

"Come in".

She looked surprised to see him and closed the file she was looking at.

"Can you....tell me the truth?", hesitatingly he met her eyes.

"What truth?", Zsadin knew what he was talking about but feigned ignorance. Until he himself said it, which truth he wants to know depends on his answer.

"Regarding Nicole's death! Did you really kill her?", his voice was expectant.

"James, did you really expected me to lie regarding her death? Alright, I. Killed. Her. Are you satisfied now?", she banged her fist startling him.

"No! That's not true! Is it really that difficult, huh?"

"Can you please leave? I have important-"

"I heard you talking with Jared the other day. Will you still deny it?", his words stopped her from speaking any further. Instead she balled her fists and ignored him.

"Did you even care for me as a friend? Was I not worthy of knowing the truth? Tell me Zsadin!", he was desperate enough to even beg her.

"Once we return from the Northern Borders, I will tell you what exactly happened!", she humphed and left the office.

Rrrrrriiiiiinnnnngggggg!

James phone ranged and he picked it up.

"Yes, father. Yes I am leaving right now!", and he barged out.

It had been almost two days since he had abducted her. Lying down on his bed, he stared at the ceiling. Hurried footsteps came over.

"Boss, we received a very big piece of information!", Magnus hurried to tell him, coming all the way running.

Caleb waited till he could stabilize his breathing.

"She...that...she", he was still panting.

"Yeah, she is the daughter of former scientist Helen Thatcher and Cannon HQ official Oliver Thatcher and also the sole witness of their murders. She interrogated Sir Brandon this morning and revealed this information. It is a probability that she already knows who prompted their murders!", he calmly stated but Caleb couldn't stay calm.

What if....what if she knew what he had done?

She will hate him!

She could be disgusted by him!

"Magnus, I don't care what you do, just remove Brandon from there. If he slipped one word about me, or about anything related, she would already hate me! And I don't want that!", his resolve scared Magnus away.

Still, Magnus couldn't help but think of the negative consequences.

What if they are caught?

"Don't worry, contact my personal guards, they will help you with it all!", and he strolled away to get ready.

Magnus, who was left behind, was shocked silly.

His personal guards! Those scary people!
