His gaze slowly moved...

He glanced at the time. 11 pm.

'Will it be okay if I talked to her now or will she see me as a freak?'

Pacing back and forth in his room, he finally decided to knock at her door, talk to her, apologize to her, do everything to gain her trust. Since he had been back from the HeadQuarters he had only one person on his mind, Zsadin. She didn't say much, but conveyed everything. While talking with senior Chief Lee they had realized the reason of Zsadin's actions. Her every move was planned carefully to protect them. She had tried to shield them from every single threat. The more he thought, the guiltier he felt.

'Aaah, I am going insane!' he muttered to himself. Gathering his courage, he finally went upstairs.

Shoot! He didn't know her room! But decided to randomly knock at a door. After some time the door opened revealing a sight he wouldn't forget in years.

Zsadin was wearing a loose tshirt and had pajamas on. Her hair was open flowing freely with her movements. Her left hand was holding a gun and the right hand supported it. Her expression was full of coldness displaying absolutely no emotions. But her facial tension relaxed and she seemed at ease when she saw who it was.

Seeing him, she spat out "You, what are you doing here?", and saying this she leaned in the doorway, showing no signs of letting him in. D sighed, but smiled slightly. 'This woman'

"Officer, you may find this childish, but I have realized that you are truly serious and dedicated about protecting us. I apologize for the childish behaviour me and my boys have displayed. I just couldn't sleep without saying this to you".

"Is there anything you want explanation on like my actions or my team? If yes, please ask. Even I want to protect reasonable people, but it seems Chief likes to test my patience. If no, please retire to your room, you have a practice session in the morning followed by an exclusive interview."

Saying this, Zsadin waited for D to answer. But he just stood there, staring at her like she was some antique piece. His gaze slowly moved from her long black hair to those alluring pitch black eyes. Then, her straight, pointy nose then to her lips, they looked soft and s.....

"Do I need to break your bones?"

D recovered from his reveries, "Huh?"

"Please retire to your room! Now!", Zsadin voice was ice-cold scaring D to his core.

And D knew she was pissed, damn he went too far. He smiled at her and went back to his room. Zsadin shut the door with a thud 'Fucking idiot!'

The next morning as usual everyone was eating breakfast but the atmosphere was very calm. Adams and Rose had volunteered for Nancy yesterday and came back to the villa, while Ben and Jess had gone to the hospital. As soon as Adams came, Zsadin looked at him, worried.

"Good morning, chief. Nancy gained consciousness at 7 pm in the evening and send her greetings. She told you not to worry."

Although, Zsadin was truly relieved she just hummed in response and continued eating. Soon, D and the boys arrived at the dining table. Seeing them some smiled while the others nodded. D looked at Zsadin, but was again disappointed. She was not looking at him, also she didn't even raise her head as she heard them arrive. D looked at Adams who was sitting next to Justin in his front side. "How is she? Is she alright?"

"Yes, quite alright. She told you boys not to fret over it and listen to Chief", Adams smiled slightly.

D nodded, followed by the boys. Soon everybody finished their breakfast and headed towards the parking lot.

"Batch, we are heading towards the studio and we will leave it at 3 pm. Mr. Damien has an exclusive interview, so all of you will escort the boys safely back. Am I clear?"

"Yes, chief". The batch replied out loud in sync.

Again the boys were afraid of Zsadin, her driving seems to be logical yet it scares them too much. The ride to the studio was silent as ever. Yet, D couldn't help but feel happy. Reaching the studio, everybody went to their original position with Zsadin taking over Nancy's place. Instead of standing outside, Zsadin went inside the practice room and stood at side, away from the ceiling-to-floor mirror. D and the boys, glanced at each other, listlessly and realized what was happening. They got nervous, very nervous. But out of nowhere, Zsadin said in a very relaxed tone, "Please continue practising, we won't disturb you".

'How on hell, are we going to practice with you here!', the boys cried inwardly.
