Her Cold Demeanour

D stood in the mirror, staring at his reflection, clothes piled up on the bed. He felt lost while deciding on what to wear. Finally, he picked up a full sleeved black t-shirt paired with grey coloured sweatpants and changed. Lastly, he chose his white sneakers. He just ruffled his fingers through his hair messing them up and setting them again and again. He wanted to dress up well for some unknown reason. The excitement in his heart led to him ignoring several knocks on his door. Frustrated, the person on the other side gave a loud bang startling D. "Yes....coming".

"What in the world were you doing, D. Nancy informed me about breakfast and it has been a good twenty minutes since I am knocking at your door. I am already famished. Do want me to die starving?"

"Alright, I am coming. You can go ahead".

Fobi nodded and headed downwards. The dining hall was beside the main Hall. As D entered, feminine gasps were heard.

'Ah, I am so blessed'

'The greek god is living with us'

'Ah, he is so handsome!'

D just gave a small smile to which the already mesmerized eyes grew more dazed.

"Ahem...Hey D sit here. This one is vacant", called out Vell. He motioned him at a chair that was beside Zsadin who seemed juat unaffected and was eating in total calmness. 'Ah, she is cold!'. D just walked over and took the seat beside her. He greeted her morning and she replied with a cold hmm. Ignoring her cold behaviour, D started putting food in his plate when a slender hand poured juice in his glass. He smiled thankfully at the person but didn't give her a second glance. Sensing his ignorance, the person put the jar down at the table and resumed eating. Everyone was eating breakfast peacefully. Nancy and the others chatted, while earning only occasional nods from Zsadin. D continued eating while talking to the boys discussing their schedule. As D was speaking only to the boys, he didn't notice everybody had stopped talking and were listening to him. Sensing his quiet surroundings, D stopped and looked at the others. "What happened?"

"Why is everyone staring at me?"

'Because we can't believe we have an idol sitting among us!' Nancy face-palmed herself inwardly for the foolish acts of her companions.

"You all are making him uncomfortable. Resume eating", Zsadin's cold voice brought them back from their stupor.

Clank! The plate dropped from Ryan's hands as he glared at D.

'That is my place!'. He stared angrily at D, as if he was trying to burn him with his glare. Sensing a cold aura, D lifted his head to see an angry Ryan looking at him.

'What on earth did I do now?'

'Why is he always so displeased?!'

Nancy sensed the situation and nudged Ryan over to her side with a 'You are being ridiculous' gaze. Zsadin had finished eating and headed towards the main Hall. Nancy glanced at the time and squealed, "Oh shit!. Guys, hurry it is 7:10 already or we all are doomed!", and everybody rushed to finish eating and ran towards the Hall. The boys, seemingly confused, just stared at them. 'Should we continue eating or should we follow them?'

'But I haven't finished eating!'

Adams noticed the boys' dilemma and gave a low chuckle, "Please continue with your breakfast, we will leave as soon as you finish". Heaving in relief, Raanz continued to eat while D stood in the entrance of the main Hall. He could see and hear Zsadin's dominant voice as she addressed her batch. He always felt drawn to her voice, the eloquence made him attracted to her like a moth to a flame.

"Today is our first day and I want you to note some things. You need to watch their surroundings carefully, be it other cars, the roads even if we stop at the signal or anything. Observe the people around them. Obstruct suspicious ones but do not hinder their daily schedule. Do not miss any single detail. They are superstars and stage artists, their safety is extremely important. If anybody tries to get close to them, do not allow that. I repeat, DO NOT ALLOW THAT. If anyone is insisting, bring that person to me. Also, we are not wearing our uniform while guarding them. Let's not become ugly bees swarming all over them!"

As soon as the batch heard the last sentence, they looked at each other with curiosity. 'Chief loves her uniform, why would she choose casuals instead of the uniform '

While the batch hurled curses at the culprit, a certain someone gasped in horror. D didn't notice when the boys came towards him, but they surely heard her words. Sean turned red in embarassment. He was sure that Steves had sold him out, but he didn't know if Zsasin knew it were his words.

'If she got to know that I did the deed, she will break my bones not D's, I should talk cautiously from now!'

"Yes, batch. One more thing, starting today, if anybody is late for breakfast, he or she will starve the whole day. This includes Mr. Damien and his boys. We all follow certain rules and regulations and since they are staying here they need to abide by them!".

The boys sighed, 'These people and their rules!'. Zsadin nodded at the boys and ushered them in a black SUV. She sat on the driver's seat and started the ignition. D took the seat beside her and the boys sat in the backseat. Others followed suit and jumped in their cars. The boys had started to feel safe when they felt something amiss. Zsadin drove at the highest allowed speed making the boys scared as hell. "Could you slow down a little? You are scaring the living hell out of me!" Raanz asked, fear evident in his eyes. Zsadin just ignored him and focused her attention on the road. 'She ignored my pleas! Unfeeling brazen woman!', Raanz sneered but held onto the car' s handles as his life depended on it. Meanwhile, Nancy and the others could only laugh as they imagined the boys' reaction to their chief's terrifying driving skills. Finally the car entered the studio and Raanz breathed in relief.

'Man, that was a hell of a ride!'

'She should be a racer!'

'Today's gonna be rough'
