Have you worked hard enough?

In the sounds of the curtains rustling freely against the window and soft music enhancing his ears, D wore his favourite casuals and strolled down towards the dining table.

Joyous talks and giggles could be heard as the batch talked among themselves discussing everything they had on their mind. Everyone was eating happily but a few only poked at their food, not able to bother with it.

"Raanz, eat it. Worrying over it won't help. Just leave everything to fate", Nancy worriedly looked at him and the others also started encouraging them.

"Yes, starving yourself won't help!"

"Stop worrying over it!"

"It will be alright!"

Hearing them, the boys' mood uplifted a bit and they slowly began eating. D casually took a seat beside Vell and filled his plate. After eating for a while, he was stood up to leave.

"Wasting food is not allowed here!", Zsadin said rebuked him without making any eye contact.

"I will finish it later. I lost my appetite!", D tried to stroll away.

"Have you worked hard enough?"

"What? Seriously?", he spat out on Zsadin.

"If you did, why be so stressed?", coldly staring at him she left the table.

Understanding the meaning D resumed eating and stopped pestering himself.

Reaching the studio, the boys met Steves and settled down in his office. The album was about to be released and everyone had crossed their fingers except Zsadin.

She indifferently glanced at D and the others but did not leave his office. Except Zsadin, the boys and Steves, nobody else was present.

After a full 30 minutes, Steves' phone buzzed indicating that the album was released and he let out a breath he didn't knew he was holding. D stood up to leave the office when Zsadin glanced at him meaningfully.

Sensing the weird atmosphere, everybody looked at her and D sat down again.

"Mr. Steves, as you had requested, my batch had caught the culprit and there are no more threats. Hence, today I announce that the protection contract has ended today. We will conduct the investigations and confirm the truth. I take your leave, it was pleasurable co-operating with you. Thank you!", and she bowed in respect.

"Officer, what does that mean?"

"Isn't it too early to lift our protection?"

"Officer, you didn't even tell us about it!"

The boys whined but Zsadin didn't budge and looked at them indifferently.

"Actually, I was already informed. Chief Lee had called me last night and told me about this. Also, since they have caught the culprits, it is better to end it right? They have other missions as well!", Steves coaxed the boys and they reluctantly nodded. Finally, Zsadin walked over to them and extended her hand.

They looked at her for a while and then smilingly gave her a handshake. When it was D's turn he pulled her into a decent hug, startling her.

"Officer, let's be in contact! Okay?", but Zsadin refused and the boys headed down to meet the other officers.

"Mr. Steves, you already know about the plan right?"
