When his own passion becomes his poison, Nadroj sets out to build a network of steampunk machines in the catacombs of Europe in hopes of alleviating the pain and weight in his heart by any means necessary. However his sins come back to bite him when the machine goes awry and steals his heart entirely. Years later Nadroj returns to retrieve his heart before he dies. Little does he know, all of the emotions left festering in his heart sparks a new type of life into his creation. He must take back his heart while on the brink of death all the while facing his inner demons and the physical incarnation of his passion... the overseer...
