124 Shouldn't they be scared of being found out?

"..." Aiden looked up at Maya who was standing in front of him. 

"I am... sorry?" He said as he took his hand out of the blanket and scratched his head. 

"What do you mean sorry?" Maya asked anger flashing in her eyes. 

"Eh?" Aiden did not know the reason himself! He had just woken up to find himself being all alone on the bed this morning.

While he was checking the time, Maya had entered the room, and then both of them noticed each other.

Aiden was about to greet her with a good morning smile, when his eyes met Maya's angry ones and before he knew, she was standing in front of him with a dark look.

Thinking that Aiden had not heard her the first time, Maya closed her eyes for two long seconds, opened them and asked him again, "What are you sorry for?"

"Umm, I am sorry for- for the reason you are angry... for?" Aiden answered or rather questioned back with a crooked smile.
