Chapter 8 - The Monster Festival Part V

* Heavy panting*

" This won't end well for me if I drag this fight much longer." , Jamal dropped on all fours and took a deep breath.

" Oooh. You're trying to end the fun already?" , Wade walked away slowly from him.

" As weak as you are, your natural ability is annoying as hell." , Jamal stood and released a condensed dark aura that changed the sunny afternoon weather into a dark cloudy sky.

" It  may not be as strong as my father's, but I have my own version of his " DOOM"  spell."

" Seriously?" , Wade scratched his head. " That spell is a pain in the butt."

Jamal flew a few feet above the ground and casted a giant arrow of condensed dark magic engulfed by a pitch black flame.

" The spell that locks all the abilities of a being, at same time slowly burning their soul till they drop dead."

ARROW OF DOOM!

" Lucifer's version of doom affects everyone around him within a ten meter radius." , Wade stretched his arms and prepared to charge at Jamal.

" You know that your version is quite easy to dodge, right?"

" I know." , Jamal smirked and raised his left hand. "Hell chains!"

Dark chains bursted from the ground and pierced Wade's legs. " What the-"

" But since you're only at 20% of your strength, absorbing those condensed chains would take more time than normal, right?"

Jamal signaled his hands down and released the giant arrow towards wade.

" DIE! CENTRAL KING WADE!!"

The aura of the giant bow was so immense that clouds in the sky looked like it was swirling on top of them.

" Ugh, I've got no choice then." , Wade braced himself for impact.

Wade clenched his left hand and clashed with the giant arrow using his fist. " GAHHHHHHHH!!!!"

The arrow exploded and Wade was blown away to the other side of the riverbank.

" You made contact with my Doom arrow. It's only a matter of time till it burns your soul and eventually burn your body, too.", Jamal flew slowly closer to where Wade was blown off to. And he saw Wade standing with his left arm bleeding badly, surrounded with a black flame.

" Now, without your energy absorption, you're nothing but a normal human being!", Jamal dashed towards Wade, with his long sharp nails preparing to pierce the skin of any enemy. " DIE!!"

And as Jamal's razor like nails were about to hit Wade's neck. Wade grabbed his wrist and clenched it tightly till his bones broke.

" GAAHHH!! How are you still moving!!?"

" Holy shit that stings!", Wade looked at his left arm bleeding like a fountain.

He then pulled Jamal's arm towards him and thrusted his knee, embedded with concentrated aura, towards Jamal's face which broke his nose and most of his teeth. Wade then covered his head with aura and headbutted Jamal tot he ground.

"UGGGHHHH!", Jamal groaned as he fell to the ground." Im-po-sshible-"

" After I fought your father, I thought about different ways to avoid or to counter his "DOOM" spell.", Wade raised his bleeding left arm, showing a white rings of aura within his elbow to his left shoulder.

" I removed the aura within my left arm and sealed it so that the doom spell from your arrow won't spread towards my body. Though it still hurts like hell."

Jamal looked at Wade with despair on his face.

" This can't be." , he said while slowly crawling backwards.

" Don't bother running away.", Wade stepped on his left leg and broke his bones in two.

" GAAHHHH!!"

" I sucked a significant amount of energy from you when I grabbed your wrist earlier.", Wade crouched as he looked down at Jamal. " Your healing won't be as fast as before. It's better you cooperate with me if you don't want to die."

Jamal trembled as he was lying helplessly on the ground.

" Am I not strong enough to beat you even when you're only at 20% of your strenght? * Cough, Cough* ", Jamal coughed out blood while trembling in fear.

The air around Wade became terrifying and a strong pressure of aura weighed down upon Jamal.

" If only you had finished me right from the start and talked later. Then you could have won.", Wade grabbed Jamal's head with his right hand. " Only a second rate predator would lick his tongue in front of his prey. Lions and tigers would pounce at their prey the second they have the chance. You failed as a predator Jamal."

Wade drained Jamal's energy until the doom spell from in his left arm was released.

" Pheww! That's better.", Wade moved his left arm around. " Now, time for you to spill everything out, JAMAL-"

" Mr. Principal! We have safely evacuated the audience to the school grounds!" , Teacher Mary reported to Sebastian along with the school staff and a few students that came to help.

" Good work everyone!", Sebastian raised his hand. " Right now Rafaela and Shin's club are the only ones left inside the stage fighting the three headed dog and the hydra. I'm sure they can handle those beasts, right now our priority is to secure the area and make sure tha-."

Before he could finish talking, he heard scratching noises coming fromt the arena.

" Is something wrong, principal?"

After realizing what was going on, Sebastian abruptly raised his staff, 

" Purgatory Flames!"

Suddenly, a ring of blue flame rose from the ground encircling them.

" What's this?" , asked the teachers. " It looks like a flame, but it's not hot."

"Here they come!" , Sebastian shouted.

Everyone inside the circle were up in arms, preparing for what's about to come. Suddenly, a miniature giant black spider about two feet long jumped towards the flames and was immediately burnt to the gorund.

" What was that!?" , Everyon gasped.

" Everyone listen!" , Sebastian spoke. " It seems that the giant black mamba that Soru defeated earlier was carrying an egg. Just right now, those small black spiders have emerged from their egg from inside the body of the their mother."

" So that's what that was. Little spiders aren't that frightening, I suppose?" , said one student.

" They maybe small, but one egg could carry around more than one thousands miniature spiders. They tend to eat anything that they think is edibe, they even eat their mother once the emerge from their eggs." , Sebastian pointed at the circle of flame.

"My spell is especially effective for demon beasts, but with their numbers I will need your help in order to exterminate all of the newly born spiders and making sure that they won't disturb the fight inside the arena."

" But I thought that these beasts are only clones of the original? Aren't clones immediately isolated after they are made? How did it reproduce?" , Mary asked him.

" I don't know. Shawn should better have a good explanation about this." , Sebastian and everyone inside the circle saw the horde of miniature black mambas scurrying towards them.

" Creepy!"

" Look at those numbers!"

Sebastian started chanted a spell which signaled everyone to prepare for a fight.

" Everyone attack!", Sebastian raised his staff and casted a rain of fireballs towards the horde and everyone inside the circle followed his lead.

" Mantis Cleave!"

" Nightslash!"

Two of Rafaela's team members simontaneously attacked the hydra's body, but the beast immediately blocked their attacks with it's long necks. And with every head they cut, two more heads emerge from the severed one.

" It's defense is so annoying." , Rafaela held her purple orb and stood far away from the beast. " The books said it's weakness is it's heart hidden under it's round body, but it's heads keep blocking our attacks while simontaneously releasing poison venoms. If we don't end this quickly, we will lose our strengths to the poison in the air before we could land a blow into it's heart."

Rafaela leaped above the  hydra with eighteen heads separately spitting poisonous venom at her.

Rafaela spreaded her arms : KING'S MODE ENERGIZE! :

A shining purple orb engulfed Rafaela and broke a few seconds after. Then emerged Rafaela in her shining purple armor with purple and black cape.

" King's Aura!", she shouted.

And the purple orb in her hand multiplied and flew to her teammates giving each of them a weapon orb from Rafaela.

" Split into two teams! First team, with me!", she ran flew towards the back of the hydra and half of her team followed her. " We'll blast it's body with the concentrated energy canon first and when you can see it's heart, second team will shoot! Got it?!"

" ROGER!" , everyone replied.

Rafaela and her team prepared to shoot the back of the hydra. " Take this!  MULTIPLE CONCENTRATED ENERGY CANON!"

And strong beams of energy were released from Rafaela's team.

The hydra, unable to dodge because of it's big sluggish body, tried to block their attack with it's heads, but the beam incinerated it's heads penetrating it's tough hide.

* SHHHRRIIIIEEEKKK!!!!* The hydra cried in agony.

Half of the beast's body was disintegrated, showing it's large bones and organs.

" There it is! ", Rafaela pointed at the hydra's heart. " Shoot it before it could regenerate!"

" Aye Ma'am!"

The second them immediately fired beams of concentrated energy directly aiming the beast's heart. But to Rafaela's suprise, it's heart began to creep deeper inside it's body.

The beam hit the body of the beast and annihalted the top side of it's body. * SHRRRIIEEEEEKKKK!!!!!*

The purple gem located on the hydra's lower neck began to glow brightly. The beast cried while quickly regenerating like nothing had ever happened to it.

" What happened, President?", her vice-president asked. " Why is it still alive!?"

" They didn't hit the heart.", she replied. " And now, the rage gem has boosted it's power."

" What?", they were dumbfounded.

" I'm sure I saw it's heart move before the beam could hit it, which means it has the ability to move it's heart around it's big body. We need to come up with a new plan before the poison kills us."

" Seriously!?", everyone on her team started to feel the pressure and the pain from the poison spreading in the air.

" Ugh, this is going to be tough.", she muttered.

"KING'S MODE ENERGIZE!"

Shin was engulfed with a bright green light that became a shining emerald green sphere.

And as the sphere broke, emerged Shin with his shining emerald armor, a long emerald katana and a floating emerald crown.

" King's Aura!"

All the weapon from the kendo club's members began shining with an emerald light which boosted the strength of their weapons almost equal to Shin's weapon.

" Attack!!" , Shin ordered his club members.

The kendo club attacked from all sides while avoiding the bolts of electricity and jets of lava coming from the dog's mouths. But even with their reinforced weapon, they still couldn't pierce through the thick mud-like skin of the beast.

" Gyahhhh!", one of his club members jumped at the back of the dog's head and landed a blow on one of the dog's necks.

But as soon as his blade touched the dog's neck, it's mud-like skin grabbed his sword and then to his feet. No matter how hard he pulled himself out, it was of no use.

" What kind of skin is this??!"

One of the dog's head turned around and blasted a bolt of lightning through it's mouth aiming at him.

" No! Jeremy!" , shouted the other members of the kendo club.

He raised his elbows ang covered his face preparing himself to be electrocuted .

" ELECTRO SWORD STYLE: THUNDERCLAP! "

Shin leaped above the giant dog and parried it's attack with a sudden lightning-like slash. The bright light from the clash of attacks made the dog look away. Shin quickly sliced through the dog's skin freeing his teammate and leaped away to safety.

" Don't falter! If you strike it with a weak blow, it will suck your sword with it's skin. Slice it with all you got!"

Shin shouted as they continued attacking the beast from all sides. " There must be some part of his body that is vulnerable to our attacks."

Shin looked at the raging beast with a glowing purple gem in it's chest. And remembered how the beast looked away after the clash of bright attacks earlier.

" That's it!",  everyone looked at Shin. " Everyone don't let up on those attacks, I'll aim at it's eyes. We'll see if it would let it's guard down."

"Yes, sir!!"

The kendo club continued attacking the beast, slicing through it's thick skin but not deep enough to reach it's flesh, while the beast keeps on attacking everything it sees. The more it got hurt, the brighter the glow of the gem in it's chest and it's attack gradually grows stronger but more sluggish.

" As I thought. The rage gem is boosting it's power but the rage causes it to loose it's senses. If that's the case, it would be easier for me." , Shin signaled to his teammates.

Two of his best members ran towards the beast and pinned their empowered swords through the beast's giant paws, pinning the beast in it's place. " GRAAAGAHHHHHH!!" , the beast roared in agony.

The other members cleared the path for Shin to dive in.

" ORIGINAL KAGUYAMA SWORD ART: SWORD BLITZ! "

Shin dashed towards the beast with lightning speed and sliced both eyes of the right head. The then jumped to the left head and pierced it's eyes with his shining emerald katana.

The dog screamed in agony and forcefully pulled his paws from the swords pinning it painfully splitting it's paws open.

Shin jumped away trying to regain his balance. " Tch! I didn't get the middle head. No matter, it seems to be in great pain. Everyone! Attack it!"

His team followed his command and simultaneously attacked the beast. And to their surprise, their attacks were penetrating it's mud-like skin and cutting through it's flesh.

" It's working!"

" Don't let up!"

" Take this you over-sized dog!"

" It's under a lot of pressure right now that it can't focus on hardening it's skin." , Shin held his sword with both hands preparing to attack.

" ORIGINAL KAGUYAMA SWORD ART:-"

Shin charged towards the beast and gracefully sliced it from all sides in a blink of an eye.  " -FOREST MOWER!"

"GAWWOOOOOOOHHHHHHH!!!", the beast shouted in agony as it's body was cut open from all sides and was bleeding so much.

Shin looked back at the beast as it lied on the ground with the rage gem destroyed and detached from it's body.

" You should be thankful that I went through the trouble of destroying that gem before you die." , Shin said as he slowly walked towards his injured teammates.

Shin gathered his team and picked those who are still able to help and those who needs rest. But as everyone was gearing up to help the others, they heard a deep bellowing sound behind them.

" UGGHHHH!"   Everyone looked back and saw the beast lying still.

" UGGHHHH MY WHOLE BODY HURTS! ", 

" WHAT'S HAPPENING? WHY CAN'T I SEE?",

" ME TOO! WAIT A MINUTE, I CAN'T SENSE MASTER JAMAL ANYWHERE! "

" Did anyone hear that?"

" The voices are coming from the dog-"

" Seriously? It's talking!?"

Shin noticed that the cut's in it's body were slowly closing up. " Everyone stay alert! The fight isn't over!"

The beast slowly stood up.

" WERE YOU THE ONES WHO DID THIS TO ME?", asked the middle head.

" WHERE ARE THEY! I CAN'T SEE THEM BUT I CAN SMELL THEM! I'LL BITE THEIR HEADS OFF!", said the right head.

" WE NEED TO FIND MASTER JAMAL. I'LL KILL ANYONE WHO STANDS IN MY WAY!", said the left head.

Shin signaled his team to surround the beast and unsheathed his sword.

" I'M IMPRESSED THAT MERE HUMANS LIKE YOU HAD INJURED ME SO MUCH. " , said the middle head. " I GUESS I'LL HAVE TO SLAUGHTER YOU LOT."

"ATTACK!", Shin commanded and everyone simultaneously attacked the beast. But the beast was fending them off quickly with it's paws and was dodging their attacks carefully.

" What's happening!?"

" It's thinking rationally unlike earlier!"

" What do we do! We can't even hit it, let alone pierce it's skin."

Everyone was puzzled except for Shin.

" It's thinking properly now. Maybe because the rage gem was destroyed that it regained it's senses." ,

" ORIGINAL KAGUYAMA ART: SWORD BLITZ! "

Shin dashed towards the beast with lightning speed. Trying to blind it's middle eyes, Shin swung his katana but the middle head caught Shin's sword with it's giant razor-like teeth.

" What the- "

The right head looked his way and released a bolt of lightning from it's mouth and hit him at blank range.

" GAAAHHHHHHH!!!!", Shin screamed.

" President!"

" Help him!"  Shouted his team.

" President!" Jerome, his vice-president jumped at top of the middle head and stabbed one of it's eyes. " Let go of him!"

" GWWOOOOOO!!" , wailed the beast. It lost it's grip from the pain dropping Shin to the ground.

Shin's teammates grabbed him and distanced themselves from the beast.

" Thanks guys." , Shin slowly stood up.

" UGHHHHHH, YOU PESTS ARE ANNOYING." , said the middle head. " MY BEAST FORM IS RATHER INCONVENIENT WHEN FIGHTING SMALL ENEMIES."

To their surprise, the beast started to shrink. Little by little, until it was about seven feet tall and standing on two legs. It's skin was still a dark brown complexion and it's three dog heads became human like heads with a long pointed horn on each forehead.

" Ahh, it's been a while since we returned to our demon form. ", said the right head. ; " I'll never get used to this body." , said the left head.

" Now, come at me you pests!" , shouted the middle head.

" Did it just say demons?"

" A demon? A real demon?"

" I've never seen one in person before."

Everyone from the kendo club were trembling from the aura coming from the beast. To make it worse, Shin's energy was running out, making it hard for him to maintain his King's mode.

" If you're not coming. Then I'll come at you." , said the beast with a grin on it's face.
