Chapter 2 - Armor of the Gods

" I hope he's doing fine right now. "

The witch pondered as she was pacing slowly around the king's throne room. She stopped at the king's throne and caressed it with her thin pale hands and long dark nails.

" Why did you have to leave me?"

She depressingly said like a woman whose heart has just been broken.

**Creak**

The doors made a loud squeaking sound as it opened. Two people entered the room; a small girl with twin buns and a samurai.

" Ah! Found her!", said the little girl.

" Just how long are you going to mope?", said the samurai.

" It's been three days since that idiot left."

" Leave me alone!", she exclaimed.

" Why couldn't he just brought me along? I could have helped him whenever and we could be alone all the time. I could cook for him, feed him, wash his body. eheheh-"

" You nympho", said the samurai,

" Having a witch around would immediately blow his cover."

" Who are you calling a nympho!? I just want to be beside him all the time. Is that so bad??"

" Your real intentions are showing though.", said the small girl. " We also have a lot of things to do here. We can't afford to lose another person.

" Anyway, let's just wait for his return. After all, he personally choose this mission as his first. " said the samurai.

" Oh! My King! Please come home safely!"

** Achoo!**

Wade sneezed while dusting of his shelf. All his things we're already in his room when he arrived. All that's left to do is to unpack.

While unpacking his things, Wade saw a red pouch with words written:

" Lucky Charm

                         - Puff"

on the side.

" If I know Puff, the contents of this pouch should be very unconventional."

Wade untied the tiny rope binding the pouch and poured the contents of the pouch in his bed.

" Ah, just as i thought",

" Shurikens, Smoke bombs, Candy, Energy Bars and a picture of her holding a giant Silverback's head."

Wade sighed and held one of the Smoke bombs up high while lying in bed.

" What would I use these for?" Wade clenched the object in his hand and fell asleep.

* RING! RING! RING!*

Wade stood up as he was awoken by the loud ringing of the telephone.

He walked slowly and answered the telephone still half- asleep.

" Yes, hello?", he spoke.

" Hey! Wade! Why aren't you here yet?", the owner of the agitated voice seemed to be Alex.

" What do you mean?", Wade replied while scratching his stomach.

" It's already past five pm in the afternoon!",   " Everyone is waiting for you! Are you going to forfeit? If so, I will tell Rafael right now."

Wade looked at the wall clock, it was already 5:07 PM.

Shit!! , " No! No! Tell her I'm coming. I just overslept!", Wade said while wearing his socks.

" I can't believe you even had the nerve to sleep when you have an upcoming duel with a very important thing on the line.", Alex replied.

" I'll tell her that you're coming. Just hurry up and get over here."

" Okay! Thank you for covering up for me."

Wade dropped the call and sprinted towards the arena.

" He said he's coming right now.", Alex said to Rafaela.

" Good. It would've been too boring if he didn't even try to put up a fight.", Rafaela arrogantly replied.

Rafaela suddenly remembered when Wade touched her cheek and stared right into her eyes. Her heart suddenly skipped a beat.

" Something wrong Raf?", asked Alex.

"Nothing!", Rafaela flipped. " I just can't wait to rip that guy to pieces!"

-- 30 Minutes Later--

" Where the hell is he!?", Rafaela exclaimed while standing in the middle of the arena with hundreds of people eagerly waiting.

" I'm here!!", Wade shouted while catching his breath as he ran towards the center of the arena.

" How dare you make me wait!", Rafaela said.

" I'm really sorry, I got lost and had to ask for directions.", he replied while scratching his head.

" Hmp! Nevermind. Now that you're here, I can finally rip you apart!", she declared.

Rafaela raised her hand to signal the announcers to start the match.

: GOOD AFTERNOON EVERYONE!! WE WILL NOW START THE DUEL BETWEEN SECOND YEAR RAFAELA RAVENCLAW AND THE NEWCOMER WADE!!:

" Alrigh!! Let's do this!!"

" Yeeahhhhh!!!!!"

" Show him who's boss, Raven!!!"

" Step on me please! Rafaela!!!!!"

The crowd cheered as the two adversaries stood ready for battle.

In the VIP stand, a middle aged man was watching.   "Wade, you'll witness firsthand the strength of my creation, " The armor of the Gods". "

" Should we really allow this, sir?" asked a young fellow carrying a long japanese sword.

" It's fine, Shin.", he replied, " You should watch, too. You'll see something very intriguing, I'm sure."

" That kid won't stand a chance." said a lad with a red bandana wrapped around his head.

" Shush, now. It's starting."

: BOTH COMPETITORS READY??:

: LET THE DUEL.   BEGIN!!!:

" Yeeahhhhhh!!!!"

The people yelled and cheered loudly in their seats.

" Just so you know, I won't hold back wether my opponent is a mouse or a lion." Rafaela declared as she raised her hands and opened her palm towards the sky.

: AURA ARMOR ENERGIZE!:

At that instant, Rafaela's aura bracelet let out a purple light that turned into a giant sphere, enfolding around her. Her body was engulfed with her own aura as it becomes a full body armor with the word "GENERAL" inscribed at the side of her helmet.

Then the sphere broke showing her shining purple armor emphasizing her flawless figure with a purple orb floating around her.

" Wow!!", Wade was fascinated with what he saw.

" You look so cool!"

" Really? Thank-", Rafaela bit her lip before finishing her sentence.

" You can't swindle me with your sweet talk!"

: GREATSWORD:

The orb around Rafaela suddenly turned into a big two-handed sword.

" Take this!"

" RAVEN'S CLEAVE!"

Rafaela swung her sword creating a fast purple shockwave.

: RAVEN IS ALREADY USING HER SIGNATURE MOVE:

, said the commentator.

" Not good. This might be over in an instant"

The people began chattering.

" Wade!! Dodge it!!" Alex yelled from the spectator's stand.

Wade looked at Alex and waved,

" Hey! Alex! Can show me your armor, too- "

The shockwave had hit him and created a huge cloud of dust.

" That idiot!", Alex said while facepalming.

" That was too easy.", Rafaela stood proudly.

" Look! He's still standing!"

The audience yelled as they saw Wade standing with his shirt torn apart.

: WHAT'S THIS!!? WADE IS STILL STANDING AFTER A DIRECT HIT OF RAVEN'S MOVE!:

" Seriously!?" Alex stood with disbelief.

" Hmp!", Rafaela clenched her fist. " I didn't expect that you'll still be standing after that, but this will surely end it."

Rafaela suddenly jumped so high people thought she was flying.

" RAVEN'S METEOR SHOWER!"

: RAVEN IS LETTING OUT A BARRAGE OF SHOCKWAVES!! WOULD WADE SURVIVE THIS ATTACK!?:

" Ugh, give me a break.", Wade grumbled as he saw the rain of shockwaves coming towards him.

He stood his ground with his arms crossed covering his face.

" What!?He's not going to dodge?", Rafaela watched as the rain of shockwave hit the ground engulfing the whole arena with dust.

Alex held tightly to her seat, as well as everyone in the audience stand.

As the fog cleared out, they saw him still standing with all his clothes torn apart with only his boxer shorts remaining and bruises all over his body.

" He's still standing!!!!", Everyone yelled as though as they were cheering for Wade.

: FOLKS THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! THE NEWCOMER WADE IS STILL STANDING AFTER THE BARRAGE OF ATTACKS COMING FROM RAVEN!:

* phew * Alex sighed in relief.

" Eek!" Wade yelped as he cover his exposed body with his hands.

" Rafaela you pervert! Ripping my clothes, did you want to see my body that badly??"

" Hahahahaha"

Everyone in the arena laughed at what Wade said.

" That moron", Alex said as the tension in the arena suddenly disappeared.

" You're making fun of me again.", Rafaela was furious.

" This time, I will kill you."

Rafaela leaped at a towering height and held her greatsword facing downwards.

" FINISHING MOVE SERIES: FALLING STAR!:

Rafaela started descending surrounded by a huge purple flame.

: RAVEN IS GOING ALL OUT! SHE LOOKS LIKE A SHOOTING STAR STRAIGHT FROM THE SKY:

" Wade! Run!! " Alex shouted.

" Her power is so warm and pure",

Wade looked up and admired the purple comet coming his way.

" Well, time to end this."

Wade then used a smoke bomb and covered the field with a thick black smoke.

" Hah! Don't think that you can run away!" Rafaela activated the heat sensor in her helmet and saw Wade standing still. " I got you now!"

And just as Rafaela's sword was about to hit him. He held his hands out and caught her sword.  He then pressed it both sides and broke her sword using his bare hands.

" Impossible!" Rafaela stood in disbelief.

The crowd remained silent, waiting for the smoke to clear out.

" What happened?"

" Is it over?"

The people asked.

And as the smoke clears, they saw the two of them still standing with Rafaela's sword cleanly shattered.

" Look! Raven's sword is broken!"

" Did she miss!??"

: IT SEEMS THAT RAVEN'S ATTACK MISSED SOMEHOW AND BROKE HER WEAPON!:

" Well, that was good exercise, ain't it?"

Wade said while patting his shoulders to clean himself from the dust.

" You monster!", she exclaimed. " This isn't over!"

"KING'S MODE ACTIVATE!"

Rafaela's armor began to shine brightly. But before she could finish transforming three people jumped in the arena.

" Stop it! Anymore and you'll be destroying the reputation of the student council.", Shin said as he held Rafaela's wrist trying to calm her down.

" That's enough Raf!" Alex said raising her arms covering Wade.

" You didn't lose anyway.", said the third person with the large bandana. " Just because you missed and broke your weapon doesn't mean you could throw a fit and nonchalantly break the academy's rules."

" It's the student council! All four are them are there!"

Everyone in the arena was surprised.

" Step aside Shin! Alex! Soru! That man is a monster!"

" Calm down now, my dear.", said the middle aged man as he walked towards them.

" The result of this duel is clear, don't you agree Rafaela? No need to embarass yourself any further."

" Principal!", Rafaela bowed and gritted her teeth.

" AURA ARMOR DEACTIVATE "

Rafaela's armor immediately faded and she returned to her feminine form.

" Oh- , Seb! Long time no see!", Wade said waving his hand at him.

" Long time no see, Wade.", Sebastian replied. " You don't look a day older the last time I saw you."

" And you've aged.", he said while smiling.

" It's the principal!"

" What is he doing down there!?"

The audience started murmuring.

" Everyone!! The duel is over! Please return to your respective dorms in an orderly fashion!" ,Sebastian announced.

The students slowly exited the arena back to their dorms.

" The four of you. Please go back to your stations. I'll notify you about your punishment later on."

" Yes, sir."

" Ugh-, why do we have to get punished, too?" Soru yammered as they walked away.

Alex looked at Wade and waved and continued walking.

" Let's talk at my office.", Sebastian said.

" Okay. Lead the way.", he replied.

" Who was that guy?", Rafaela wondered with her hands still shaking. " He was not  normal."

" He seems to know the Principal personally, too.", Soru added.

" If I recall, you and the principal were from an underground world where ordinary people are thrown to die or live through hell leaving only less than 1% chance of survival. The principal was from a long bloodline of High Mages and was a front line combat mage until the fighting ceased and the clans from all over the underground world decided to unite.", Shin spoke.

" If he came from that place, he must've been pretty strong."

" No wonder.", Rafaela said as she clenched her fist.

It was night time and the light of the moon was entering the principal's office through his large window.

" Don't be too hard on the children, okay?"

Wade said as he stood beside the window of the principal's office, feeling the evening breeze touching his skin.

" Don't worry.", Sebastian replied. " I wouldn't let them do something that they can't."

" Still, I'm still amazed how you've aged so little, Wade. Or should I call you,

" The Central King of the Underworld.". "

" Please don't.", Wade replied. " Don't utter such dirty words in such a peaceful place like this. Plus, that title is embarrassing. Who'd even made that title? When I realized it, people started calling me that way*Sigh* ."

" Haha, you've always been a loose cannon.", Sebastian laughed. " So? How do you like my school?"

" To be honest, I'm quite envious. You really made it happen. "

" Well, I'm honored that you find my life's work to your liking. But, is it really okay to leave the Central territory?"

" It's fine", Wade replied. " My family is there to take care of the place while I'm gone."

" When you mean family, you mean your generals right?"

" Of course! Those four could beat anyone in the underground even without my help."

" Enough of that. Tell me when will I get my own aura armor???", Wade asked Sebastian with his eyes twinkling from excitement.

" It will be finished within two days from now. Just sit tight til then."

" Two days? Ughh ,I wanted to try it now."

" Well, I had to make certain adjustments knowing that you would wear it."

" Fine. I just couldn't wait. You've really turned those annoying sealing rings into something amazing."

" Well, it's not perfect yet. I doubt these bracelets could handle yours or your general's full strength."

" I have another question, Seb.", Wade said with a serious tone.

" Hmm? What is it?"

" Why is there a Ravenclaw here?"

" Ah, I thought you'd asked.", Sebastian answered. " She's my daughter."

" Seriously!!", Wade was astonished.

" Sebastian, you sly old Gandalf. Poking your magic wand to places where it doesn't belong."

" I'll tell you the whole story.", Sebastian calmly replied.

" 10 years ago, after the underground world was successfully unified and laws have just been passed, Illegal traffickers and slave traders we're still openly doing their business. Our squad was ordered to clear out Sugar Tooth's base, a big time slave seller that had many connections to the black market.

     After slaying everyone that opposed us, we freed all the slave and dressed them. All of them were very grateful and cried their hearts out except for one slave. It was a little girl, she stole a knife from one of the soldiers that I commanded and ran towards Sugar Tooth's cold corpse.  She stabbed his dead body over and over until she tired herself out. Nobody from the former slaves dared stop her. The slaves told me that her father was beheaded in front of her and her mother was raped before she was taken to a wealthy demon lord's mansion.

       I held her tiny trembling hands and told her that everything is okay now. Her dull dead eyes started to tear up and she cried out loud until she lost her voice, calling out for her mother and father. Right then and there, I decided to take care of her.

      I found out that she was a pure bred ravenclaw six months after I took her in. After her bruises and wounds healed and her eyes began showing signs of life. But it didn't matter to me wether she was a ravenclaw or not. I would've taken her in whatever she was.

    She was beside me when I created the Aura Armors, when I built this school and when she started to show her interest in combat. She's all grown up now, but I believe that still has some deep trauma inside her. "

" Seb~", Wade took a tissue from the principal's table and blowed his nose.

" You're such a nice geezer. I can't stop crying."

" She's my honor and my pride. I'm very proud of her."

" You've really turned into an old man." Wade said.

" Maybe.", he replied with a smile.

Wade look outside and stared at the moon.

" That place brought ruin to many. It was inevitable that someone would come and change the system."

" And we're glad that it was you."

" Me too.", he replied.

" Well! Nice catching up with you. I need to rest, first day of school tommorow. Don't want to be late."

" Okay, Wade. See you later." Sebastian said as Wade waved at him and left the room.

" Oh! And one more thing-.", Wade pried the door slightly open.

" Yes? What is it? "

" Ahhh.", Rafaela moaned while her sweat slowly dripped down her plump bosoms. " I can't, It's too big."

" You asked for this.", Wade naughtily replied. " I already told your dad that I would borrow you for the whole night."

" Fine! I did lost that duel. I will follow all your desires for I am now your slave."

" Good."

" From now on, you are my personal maid! I hate slaves. Maids are alot better! Here, wear this maid outfit!"

" What!?" Rafaela replied with an embarrassed tone.

" Hurry up! We don't have all night!".

Rafaela returned wearing the fittingly maid outfit.

" That's more like it!"

" Now push that cabinet near the window!" , Wade commandingly ordered her.

" I told you! It's too big!", she replied.

" You can do it! Think of this as training."

" Fine! " , She continued pushing slowly till the cabinet reached the window.

" Ugh! Done!"

" Now, the bed!", Wade arrogantly ordered.

" Ughhh! Give me a break!", Rafaela yelled.

" Hurry it up!"
