In The Beginning...

there once was a land that will one day be. at least if dreams come true. unless our dreams are reality? is it a dream, or am I blind to what surrounds me?

whatever the case may be, about this land of futures passed, theres something you must know. in this land lived many people. now, normally the narrator would tell you one of these people was special, but in reality, this one cannot tell you so, for in this particular land, all the people are special. In this land, magic is the reality. Now, when I say magic, what first comes to mind? summoning fire at a whim? typhoons that come at your beck and call? well forget those silly misconceptions, for here that is not the case.

All right, all right, some of the people of this land do have such abilities that shake the very earth, but not all are born to achieve such greatness. in this particular place, magic is unique to each individual, and achieved through one's true passions and desires and personality. to be clear, what I mean is that if someone, for example, had always wanted to be a true hero from the moment he knew what good and bad were, and always dreamed of casting a fireball to vanquish his enemies, then G-d would grant him this gift, as long as his intentions were pure (being as G-d is all knowing and all that). if someone had always wanted to terrorize and rule over others, and fantasized about being a necromancer, on the flip side, G-d would also grant him that, with the same conditions. But, if someone honestly had a passion for, say, being a seamstress, then G-d would give them a related power (like being able to repair clothing with a wave of there hand or something, what do I know about being a seamstress already?). so really, your magic is beyond your control, its WHO YOU ARE. You can change who are externally, but if it's not a real change, your magic stays the same. and yes that does mean some people can change their magic throughout their lives.

Ok, now that that explanation is out of the way, let's jump right I to it, shall we? in the land, which we shall call Olum, there was a clan. the name of the clan was Yidden. this clan had people, people with magic just like anywhere else in Olum. but for the sake of your entertainment, I have decided to write about only a specific few of those people. Let's start... with Sye.
