20 Arguing with Yourself

*BEAST'S POV*

The Beast ran through the streets he occasionally found a villain that was quickly killed but it looked for the most part Gigantomachia was alone.

Running towards the behemoth Beast began to activate all of his items. Leaping ontop of a building Beast unwrapped his kanabo from his back and squatted.

Muscles bulged unnaturally as he channeled energy twards his feet. He would need an extra boost to reach Gigantomachia head.

The power put behind his jump collapsed the building he was on. Kanabo in hand he swung.

*KABOOOOOOOOM....BOOOOOOM*

The shockwave of the blow shook the city causing many of the damaged buildings to collapse, and the glass in the surrounding area to shatter.

The first hit knocked Gigantomachia back and the second duel impact knocked him down.

Looking at the fallen tiatan he saw that he was unfazed. Knocked off balance but ultimately unfazed.

Beast landed on a building and shattered the ground. Wasting no time he rocketed towards Gigantomachia again.

He would have to find a weakness via trial by fire. He didn't have enough raw strength in his loadout to outright take him out so going for something vulnerable like the eyes would probably be a must for this fight.

*SENJU'S POV*

The distant booms and the way the ground shook causing the surrounding buildings to shutter and fall apart let him know that Beast had confronted Gigantomachia. His defense and general strength was over bearing but there was alwas a chink in the armor.

Each loadout was made for different situations and to be honest Ronin could have ended this fight far faster than Beast but Ken wanted to be on stand by incase All for One shows.

Ever since Ken arrived in this world he wasn't the same from his last life. He was struggling to think of this world as real. He acted like it was real but deep down this was the anime that he half-heartedly watched.

After healing another person who had their legs crushed Senju looked at the on going battle. This had to stop. Ken could end this he could have ended this when he first set his sights on All for One.

He was loosing himself, the massacre of the M.L.A was proof of that. When he first started out he swore to only kill the irredeemable the likes of Overhaul and All for One.

While the M.L.A weren't the best of people many of them only wished to live more freely.

Racing towards the on going battle Senju took to the rooftops he was going to stop this.

Running up the arm of Gigantomachia Ken clone saw Beast attacking Gigantomachia's eye. Making his way up to the head as well he reached out his arms and placed them on his neck and used overhaul.

Gigantomachia fell head turning into a bloody mist.

Beast looked at Senju wordlessly.

Ken 1: "This has gone on long enough don't you think?"

Ken 2: "*sigh* yeah I know but like can't we do this after he kills All for One?"

Ken 1: "By then he might be totally gone. He was actually forming some connections when Eri was around."

Ken 2: "Yeah he is still hung up on the fact that this isn't his world. He was fine at first just trying figure things out, but when U.S.J happened he started to become more and more irrational"

Ken 1: "I know he is losing himself. He didn't need to kill the M.L.A like he did. Simply suppressing them would have been enough. We need to talk to him taking out All for One has become an unhealthy obsession."

Ken 2: "*sigh* Let's finish putting out the fires in the different cities for now once we are done we can talk to original."

*HAWKEYE POV*

Hawkeye and Ronin went through another portal to different city. Smoke and screams filled the air as they rushed onto the scene.

Hawkeye took to the rooftops as Ronin ran through the streets. Shrinking his staff and putting it on his belt he took his bow that was strapped to his back and started to fire.

Ronin was helping clear a way for the evacuation teams and he wad taking out any incoming threats. Hearing the different cries for help Ken 3 began to think.

He knew what the original was capable of, he was his clone after all. And thus he knew original was holding back.

There is a saying absolute power corrupts absolutely. He is afraid of losing himself to his own power that he taking drastic measures to ensure that the fight is in his favor without going all out.

Ken 3 could remember when they had used God of War it wasn't really a loadout as much as it was him truly using his quirk.

He combined quirks Instinctively into what best suited the situation and for the moment he had gone all out all of his senses were enhanced to such a degree that if he desired he could pinpoint someone from across the globe.

This scared original to such a degree that he is trying to limit the loadout to where he is able to beat All for One without truly using his quirk.

He wants to wipe out All for One and has the power to do so. The only thing that is holding him back is himself.

*KEN'S POV*

For seven days he and his clones have been running around taking out as many villains as they could. The heros and police joined the fray once the civilians had been evacuated. Several other groups of resistance had been reported all over Japan.

Local biker gangs, delinquents really have been seen riding around with bats and pipes taking out villains and protecting their turf. They were people who he didn't pay much attention to in the past. They spent most of their time fighting other teens than actually causing trouble. Now however they have proven to play a vital role in this war.

The group he had previously passed off as psychos The Beast's Brides have been seen in Osaka. If the news is to be believed they almost single handedly cleared the streets in the name of the Beast. They have also helped secure supply lines going to and from different cities.

The homeless population have put up a fight driving off many. They refused to leave their part of town and have effectively taken control of the slums. Rumors have been spreading that the hero faction has hired them to help smuggle different supplies coming from the outside and even have become info brokers.

Right now Ken was entering a hideout that was underground it was more of a bunker than a traditional hideout. Inside his three clones waited for him the transformations they used to appear different dropped.

KC 1 (Ken Clone 1: Senju): " Ken we need to talk."

Ken: "We don't need to talk I need to rest so I can go back out there as soon as possible."

KC 2 (Beast): "Look man you need to stop. You are dragging this out more than you need to and are becoming more obsessive."

Ken: "What are you talking about? I haven't done anything that wasn't necessary."

KC 3 (Hawkeye): "That's bull and you know it. You didn't need to kill all those people in Deika. And if you really wanted to you could track down All for One right now and kill him."

Ken: "The M.L.A was going to join All for One I jus-"

KC 1: "The only reason why you didn't go after the M.L.A before was because at their core they were fighting for what they thought their rights should be.

They weren't killing for the sake of killing, sure some looked down on the quirkless and even went as far as targeting them but you dealt with them.

You could have prevented them from joining All for One if you took him out when you first set your sights on him."

KC 2: "Even when we were younger if you really wanted to you could have tracked down All for One and killed him before all of this happened. Why wait until now?"

Ken: "You know why."

KC 3: "Yeah we do but you need to hear it outloud."

Ken: "I-I was waiting. Waiting for a sign or signal to tell me what to do."

KC 3: "You're still want to go home."

Ken: "Fuck me I tried! but how could I see this, any of this as real!?!?

And even if it is real, why me? I wasn't some Saint or great person in my last life, so why?

*sigh* Look I tried to stay out of all of this. I tried to live start over and all that but it never seemed real. Helping people was my way of trying to ground myself. If I protected them then I might be able to start seeing this as real.

Taking out All for One and I don't know completing some mission or something so I could go home. It was always in the back of my mind, but I didn't really pay it much attention until after I operated on the nomu.

What if all I had do to get home was defeat the big bad of the story. What if I was sent here to complete this task?"

KC 3: "Do you know how fucking insane that sounds? And that's coming from you soooo."

KC 1: "What if there is no reason. What if the purpose is just to exist?"

All looked at the clone. His purpose there was always in the back of his mind. It was easy to write it off as just because but the fact that he was given a second chance ate away at him. He believed in the afterlife and wanted to be with his lost loved ones when he passed.

Moving on was always a hard task especially when you are alone. He thought he had moved passed it for a time, but he had only managed to suppress/ignore it.

Ken: "So what? I kill All for One and then what?"

KC 2: "We could actually try to get a life out side of vigilantism and doing whatever we want."

KC 3: "Yeah I'd be good for you. Right now the people you could call close is limited to Eri."

Ken: " Hey I'm not that bad Reco-"

KC 1: "She is friends with "Hashirama" not you."

....

Ken: "Fuck I really have lost it. I'm arguing with myself and losing."

KC 2: "Yup batshit insane."

Putting his head in his hands Ken chuckled lightly. He was tired and having three of yourself calling you on your bullshit was a different experience.

KC 3: "Yeah we could finish talking about actually settling down once we are finished. Right now you need to go all out and finish this."

Ken: "*Sigh* You know why I don't want to do that."

KC 2: "Yes yes we know you are afraid I remember it well. It was...overwhelming and addictive."

KC 1: "You can't run from it forever. It is your power it's been eight years since you got it you need to stop limiting yourself."

KC 3: "It's as much apart of you as your legs and arms."

Ken: "This isn't my original body, so I'm not sure if that really applies to me."

Being met with blank stares Ken decided to focus on what to do afterwards.

Ken: "I don't think I want to stay in Japan after it's all said and done."

KC 2: "I know you're changing the subject but I vote for going to America. You lived there in your last life and while Japan is nice, I think you might feel more at home there."

KC 1: "If we become a hero there we could get protection not only from Japan but from the crazy fans you have here."

KC 3: "You could take Eri with you as well. They would protect her as well, and who knows you might actually develop a life."

Ken: "I could dispell you."

KC 3:"Yeah but I'll win once you do."

Closing his eyes Ken decided that he had stalled long enough. His clones seemed to realize what was happening and decided to to go out and patrol while Ken focused.

Ken had lied to himself for these past fourteen years. He had held back and tried his best to convince himself that was living.

He had chained himself out of fear, out of hope of finding a way home. Now was the time to stop holding back. He had said it before but at the time it was lip service at best.

It was time to actually live. It was time to be Unchained.
