City Tour

He opened his eyes and found himself in a vast field of grass, as tall as his knees. The wind caressed his face, carrying with it autumn leaves. He felt a sense of peace unlike anything he had ever experienced before.

"So this is heaven?" he wondered.

"It's so peaceful."

Nathan, having lived a hard and exhausting life, full of pain and struggle. This place was a welcome relief, a reward for his endurance.

He walked around, admiring the scenery before he noticed a strange object floating above the grass, a glowing orb of orange and yellow, like a miniature sun, inviting him to touch it.

"What is that?" he thought, curious.

His blue eyes flashed with a faint white light, changing into a bronze hue.

He walked towards the orb, reaching out his hand. He wanted to know what it was. He was about to touch it, when everything went black. He felt a sudden jolt of pain, and then nothing.

...

He gasped for air, as if he had been drowning waking up from a deep slumber, feeling dizzy and weak. He was lying on a small, rough bed, in a dimly lit room. His muscles sore and his skin pale.

"Ugh," he groaned, trying to sit up.

He felt a wave of memories flood his mind, overwhelming him. He saw things that defied logic and reason, things that he had never seen or done before. He felt like he was losing his grip on reality, as his old and new identities clashed.

"Elysium," he muttered to himself. " A paradise, huh? More like a nightmare."

He remembered his old world, the one he had left behind. It was a world of science and technology, of order and logic. It was a world that made sense, even if it was harsh and cruel.

He compared it to his new world, the one he had entered. It was a fantasy world of chaos and mystery. It was a world that baffled him, even if it was a world of wonder.

Recalling the life of the body he now inhabited, the body of a young man named Jason. Realising just how unlucky and miserable Jason had been, how much he had suffered and lost. He felt a pang of sympathy for him, for giving him a chance to live again.

"Thanks for the great start, Jason," he said sarcastically. "You really know how to make a good impression."

…..

Nathan, having kept the identity of Jason after his rebirth, felt lost and confused on what to do next, now that he was free, free from all that once chained him.

He decided to take a walk around the city and have some fresh air while he sorted out his thoughts and planned for his next steps.

I can help you improve the writing quality of your sentence. Here is a possible revision:

He strode out of the room and into the hallway, he encountered lorette, she was an old woman with grey hair and a hunged back.He greeted her politely and quickly walked out of the inn.

As he strolled along the streets, he saw many cheerful children playing games and laughing, joyful people greeting each other and chatting. He felt a pang of envy, wondering if he would ever find happiness and belonging in this strange world.

He continued walking until he reached the centre of the city, where a huge statue of an elephant caught his eye. The elephant stood on its hind legs, holding a sphere that seemed to represent the world in its trunk. A crowd of people knelt before it, bowing their heads and murmuring prayers.

Jason recalled from his previous memories that the elephant was the sacred symbol of the empire, and that its name was Zaza. He did not want to attract attention or suspicion, so he joined the crowd and knelt on both knees. He uttered the customary phrase, "May the Zaza be eternal", with as much reverence as he could muster, and pretended to pray hoping that no one would notice.

After finishing his prayer, he got up and walked away in a random direction, curious to see more of the city.

…..

He soon noticed that the streets became less crowded and more shabby. The buildings looked old, and the people poor and unhappy. He wondered why there was such a contrast between the two places, even though it was still the same city.

No longer having time to ponder over the question he heard a scream coming from an alley, and instinctively ran towards it. He saw two knights in armour and swords at their waist, kicking a woman who was holding a child in her arms. Both the woman and the child wore ragged clothes and had bruises and cuts on their faces. They begged for their lives, but the knights showed no mercy.

"Please stop! We didn't do anything wrong!" the woman cried.

"Yeah, right," one of the knights sneered.

"As if. We were walking by and you tried to steal from us," the other one lied.

"And what we did was merely in self-defence," the first one added.

"So... are you going to cooperate or do we have to do some more self-defence?" he threatened.

Jason felt a surge of anger and pity. He could not stand by and watch the injustice and cruelty he once suffered inflicted upon another person. He decided to intervene and help the woman and her child, even if it meant risking his own life.

He did not know what he was going to do, but he knew he had to do something. He shouted at the knights, "Hey, leave them alone! They are innocent!" and ran towards them, hoping to distract them and give the woman and the child a chance to escape.

The first guard, startled by Jason's shout, unsheathed his sword and slashed at his thigh, injuring him in the process.

"Ahhh!" Jason screamed as he fell on the ground, bleeding profusely.

The guards, realising their mistake, fled the scene, not wanting to be blamed for the death of a citizen and risk losing their knighthood. Jason tore a piece of his cloth and wrapped it around his wound, trying to stop the bleeding. He felt a sharp pain and a cold sweat on his forehead. He hoped that the wound was not infected or fatal.

He turned around to check on the lady and her child, hoping that they were safe. But to his surprise, they were nowhere to be seen. They had vanished without a trace, without a word of thanks or concern.

"So much for helping," Jason muttered, feeling tired and betrayed. He wondered why he had bothered to save them.
