Albetius

Zamora P.O.V

Three days after the war, we've lost so much but we won the battle, captured some of the monster and planned to tame them, About a quarter of our knights remained standing, three hundred and a four villagers injured, a hundred and ten dead, half of the kingdom destroyed, lost Cyrus, lost Flina but... she left something that so beautiful, her daughter with the same beautiful blonde hair and a very dark eyes, a very rare combination.

Zulia death still weighs on me heavily.

Zulia has been enveloped in my aura for three days now, I stare at her, waiting for her to open her eyes.

She finally wakes up and stares right at me.

"She's dead?"

I looked at her as I nod my head.

Zulia burst into tears, I held her tight, I haven't been able to cry but now the tears would not stop flowing.

We cried in each other arms, this is the first time I'm seeing Zulia this vulnerable.

"Flina... can I see her body?".

"Yes, her body in the ice room, frozen solid".

I carried her daughter and showed Zulia, who looked at her with a saddened smile

"Ohh my, she looks just like tiny Flina" she held unto her, smiling and crying uncontrollable.

Months have gone by, my heart still aches at the thought of my sister's death but seeing Ivan more miserable than ever.

He has been grieving for a longer while... like he is punishing himself, he barely touches his daughter, who he hasn't named.

My wedding has been delayed due to the casualties done and our efforts to restore the kingdom back.

Neodessa is long gone so is the kingdom of Ztoa, for now the two Kingdom have merged to a larger Empire, none that no one has seen before.

"What dares run through my darling mind that isn't me?" Aragon nudges me, giving me a bright calm smile.

"What else... The future of our Kingdom" I leaned over for a kiss on my toes, he leaned forward.

"I can't have my future wife trying so hard to match up with my height"

He kisses me lightly then stops,

"How is she, Zulia?".

....the door opens with a force, as Ivan burst in.

"Ivan!!!" Aragon yells

"Don't yell at him, he is still grieving" I squeezed Aragon's palms lightly.

Ivan looked at us all confused, he really hasn't been normal ever since, I wonder what he has to say now...

"I've found a way to bring Flina back" he stares at us waiting for a response, his eyes filled with hope.

This isn't the first time he's doing this, he comes up with weird ways to bring Flina back or fix her or some weird impossible hope.

"Everyone grieves in their own way, but Ivan what you're doing is really unhealthy, you have to accept that she's gon–"

"Remember the day... that very day we tried to kill Flina, the gem of Xanxer stole her spirit but couldn't contain it leaving it to shatter into pieces", he pauses trying to catch his breath.

"Some pieces are still very much with little traces of her soul, if we can just infused it back into her body, she'll be with us again, we can bring–

"Ivan!!!, stop, just let her rest peacefully, let her go!" I already don't want to give in to this hope he keeps giving, I already accepted she's dead, it's hard, I know but ... but please just let her rest.

"You're her sister, you should try to help me... Flina isn't dead, I can bring her back"

"I said STOP" I yell out.

Ivan stares at me as he collapses to the floor

"Your priority should be Flina... I need her, she's all I have" he cries pitifully.

I really hate seeing him in this state.

"Ivan, you have more than you think, she left her with you, a tiny Flina"

Ivan looks at me emotionless.

"Your daughter has been living for months with no name, when would you give her a name befitting her?"

Ivan gets up and leaves with not a single word.

Aragon walks towards me,

"I know seeing him that way hurts you more, but let's get your mind off that?" he lifts me up and slowly drops me on his bed.

"My Queen, have you thought of the name we should give our new Empire"

"I have thought of a name, a name that gives off a peaceful feeling yet an intriguing fearful one"

"And what is it?"

"Albetius"

"Albetius?" he looks at me, waiting for a more detailed meaning.

"Albetius originally from the word 'Albet' which means Noble and Bright, and 'Tius' which means the god of war, a very lost ancient language of Əñģłï§h"

"How insightful you are My Queen" he lifts me back up spinning me around, with our laughter filling up the room.

I find it hard to smile, yes ... I did lose alot, from my mother, father,Flina, my kingdom and very much My old self but I found something more... My future, my happiness lies here.

A knock on the door bring me back from me thought,

"We keep having more visitors". Aragon pouted as he puts me down.

A maid walks in

"Your Grace," she bows gratefully,

"You may speak" Aragon says

"Her Highness dress has arrived" she brings in a white silky dress as she dresses up the tailor dummy.

"Ohh my, it really is beautiful" my eyes gently tear up as I stare at my wedding dress.

"Even more beautiful would it look on my bride".

"Ohh my, I never knew it would be this pretty" Zulia walks in with the baby in her hand

" my pretty princess" I take her from Zulia.

"We need to give her a name, Ivan isn't saying a word, he barely looks at her, he hasn't even carried her ever since".

"My pretty niece, since your father refuses to name you, why don't I do the honors?" I smiled at her, touching her soft rosy cheeks, her golden blonde hair glistens with the sun.

"Leonora, I hereby name you Leonora".

"Seems you're bad at naming things, speaking of names, what is the name of the kingdom we live in?". Zulia asks

"Albetius" I said with a smile, Zulia looks at me happily

"Now that's a name I'm okay with, But Leonora NO!"

"Why do you disagree, Leonora means compassion and light and she does remind me of the shining sun"

"What about Eleanor, it also means Light" Zulia says happily

"No no no, it's not compassionate enough"

"What about Lumina, it means sunshine"

"Now that's befitting for a princess like her, isn't that right Princess Lumina, do you love your new name?" I said tickling her tummy.

"Don't forcefully try to make her laugh by tickling her, she's just six months old" Zulia snatches her away from my arms.

"I'll go inform her father on his daughter's name" Zulia walks out.
