Chapter 4: Zroids (1)

Zroids are half-machine, half-humanoid creatures with a staggering height of 10 feet, Their lower body one is 5 feet tall and consist of 4 metallic sharp legs that is attached to the middle part of the body, which is a 1 foot, 360 degrees rotating metallic  disc, inside the disc is where there core are located. Their upper body is a humanoid shaped with a build of an average adult human male. They wear a perfect circle enclosed helmet in their head with only two glowing dots that represents their eyes, of course there's a human head inside of it.

"You get the idea right? A 10 feet tall abomination of some sort blah blah blah" The chronicler whined about explaining Zroids.

"Why do i have to explain these ugly fucking creatures and stuff about them that i don't give a single shit"

[Narrator: Hey, you just dropped an F-bomb and you say shit]

"Ohh, i apologize for my unruly behavior hahahaha"

"By the way, i want to continue the story, but i feel like i need to explain certain things to you all dear readers, the rough and mild detail of this world. You know how big the slum block is and what the zroids are. Now i am going to tell you about other slum blocks, every slum block have certain distances on how they are from other blocks, for example the block where august resides is Block#250 and the nearest block from here is Block#251 which is a mile away.

Also, the world they're have the same size as the Earth.

" What? Of course i am aware of Earth, it's where my author resides, although the information regarding to earth is blocked. I am at least aware that the fourth wall exist"

August looked at the Astro-Suit, although this thing was the cause of his parent's untimely death, he didn't feel any pain or longing, he didn't really have any strong  emotional connection towards the couple, apart from the memories of the original owner the system implanted on him.

"Still, they are my parents in this world, i must accomplish their goal of repairing this Astro-Suit, it also aligns with my main quest so there's hardly any problem at all."

Knock! Knock! Knock!

August heard the knock and immediately rushed towards the door, when he opened it, he saw an elderly man in tattered formal suit, the suit alone looks expensive, pointing out that this elderly right in front of him is not some random old beggar.

He smiled and asked, "How can i help you, Mister Giorgio?"

The Elderly Man fell on the ground and began to burst into tears like a 8-year old child, Although August didn't know what exactly happened that made this elderly suddenly burst into tears in front of him.

August helped him calm down and later on the Giorgio explained everything.

10 Days ago, Giorgio left with his team to establish a trade connection with other blocks, within the surrounding 10 miles, they traveled relentlessly visiting every blocks they knew.

He also found out that there were only 8 slum blocks left out of originally 12 blocks within the 10 miles radius, including his homeblock there were only 9 slum blocks left.

The 3 slum blocks was completely overrun by Zroids, knowing this, he resolved himself and visited one slum block that was occupied by Zroids.
