48 We’re a team
He was sitting in the dark, lowering his head.
''Edward!''
''Huh ?'' He lifted his head and turned it left and right to see who is calling him but he saw nobody.
''Edward !''
''Who's that?'' He asked confused
Nobody responded and he lowered his head again
''Since the incident, the day that I killed my own mother, My family saw me as a dangerous person even if they are not showing it, but I know that it's like that they're a seeing me''
''I have been feeling vulnerable, confused and I avoided everybody that could help me because I knew that Garuf will always be there to hurt them ''
''My brother Alban....'' he paused and then sighs
''Maybe I should stay here to avoid hurting them any more''
''Yes, it's better''

April was in a very bad state, her dress was torn , blood on her and she had deep injuries. Her way of breathing was very low .
She was on the ground, she coughed blood.
''You had good intentions, little girl. It is not enough to bring him back'' he said indifferently
He looked at her with..... was it pity? Or he was disgusted by much eagerness ?
''I think it's enough. I have already played with you . There have others candidates that need me too'' he said with a smirk
He was approaching her, making one step after the other.
April saw those steps as an eternity , It was as if he was walking slowly yet it wasn't the case. She saw her entire life coming into her mind . She flashed a little smile.
[ So, it's like that I'm going to die ? ]
[ I always thought that I will die peacefully on my bed ]
[ I would had loved to tell goodbye to my family and.... tell him that I love him ]
Garuf Arrived to her spot and lifted her by holding her hairs with one hand

''So, you're given up?'' Someone Asked
Edward eyes widened when he heard that voice.
''Mother?!!'' He said with a crying voice
''Are you giving up?'' She asked
''But mother, nobody is waiting for me there, you're no more there with me . So, I prefer to stay here ''
''Are you sure son?'' She asked
''Your father and your brothers are all waiting that you come back and.....'' She paused and turned his head
''Look'' She said
He saw April through the eyes of Garuf. He expression immediately turned surprise.
'' If there's no one waiting for you, Why is that this girl is risking her life for you?''
He was literally shocked.
''I will kill her! Just as I killed you!'' He said panicking
''If you don't do anything now, you will kill her''
''I can't do anything for her! He is stronger than me''
'' Then, She will die ''
He turned left and right, searching for his mother but she wasn't there.
'' Mother ! Where are you?''

Her eyes were closed, she could feel how her force was leaving her slowly, now she was waiting that he kill her.
She struggled to speak.
''E.. Ed.. Edward... one ... day you told me something.... that We are a team. I'm sorry , I couldn't help you as you did for me... sorry ...''
Garuf lifted his sharp pointed long nails and was to the point to finish with her when he stopped.
''April!!''
She struggled to open her eyes, even though her vision was blurred when she opened it .
''You.... are ... back'' She said and fainted
Edward regain his envelope, he was naked.
''Heh! Wake up!''
[ Her heartbeat is very low , same for her breath ]
He carried her in his arms and get out from the dungeon. The king and his brothers were surprised.
'' She has succeeded '' Said Ronan shocked
''But at which price? Look at her state'' said Leopold
''Edward !'' Salomon called
''We will talk after, she need help'' he said worried
''I will call the royal doctor '' Said Darvin
''No! It will be too late for her. She need to be heal immediately. She needs magic '' Said Edward
They took a stunned expression
'' I will go in the forest to see Ysabel Natrixia''
'' No! Edward , she is not trustworthy !'' Said Ronan
''I'm taking that risk ''
The color of his eyes changes to purple and he started running , in a blink of an eye he was in the forest.

The forest was a beautiful forest but at the level of Ysabel house which was made of old timber, The atmosphere was very dark and the air was almost unbreathable , the trees and flowers were all death, no animals could even live there.
Edward entered in her house without knocking.
'' You don't know how to knock , young man?'' She said while searching for a book on a cupboard without looking at him.
''It's an emergency ! ''
The witch turned to him, she had a cape with a hood as usual.
'' I know why you're here. My help will not be free''
''What do you want in exchange?'' He asked
'' When the time comes I will tell you but be sure that you will do what I want''
'' I will '' he said
