2 Chapter 1: The Beginning

The universe has always been full of mystery but one day a mysterious being bestowed magic upon the universe and what if the being who left its consciousness in the 7 artifacts chose 7 people to inherit its powers... 

"shit shit shit, I'm going to be late!" Jack said as he sprinted across several houses, 'today was the first day of school and I'm already late' he thought continuing to run towards the school.

He sprinted as fast as he humanly could 'Thank you legs for being so fast' he thought managing to reach the school with 10 minutes to spare, "first day and your late. classic" Jack turned his head to see his friend Zach chuckling in a distance "well yeah my alarm didn't go off hehe" Jack casually replied to him.

"come on the others are waiting in class already" Zach said while walking towards the school. "We got into the same class again?! NOOO THE CURSE CONTINUES!!" Jack yelled, He and Zach have always been in the same class for 4 years now, it always shocked him how they get into the same class every year.

While walking towards class Jack's arm suddenly got yanked "are you trying to hit a pole on your first day?" Zach said still holding Jack's arm "huh? Oh sorry I must have zoned out" Jack replied sheepishly while rubbing the back of his neck "yeah you did, now let's go, class is around the corner" Zach said continuing to walk.

"You know I'm so glad we don't have to climb stairs to go to our class" Zach said entering their classroom. "look who finally decided to show up" both Jack and Zach looked at the direction of the voice to see Adam another friend of theirs sitting in a chair beside Airyl who was also their friend "Adam you can't blame him we all have been late to school once" Airyl replied while eating a sandwich.

"Alright class settle down, class is about to begin" Mr Jacob said putting his books on the teacher's desk "Today were gonna learn about the history of magic and the 7 ancient artifacts Open your textbook to page 25" Mr Jacob said opening his textbook.

"200 thousand years ago magic had not existed, until one day a mysterious being wielding what the world calls 'The 7 Ancient artifacts' appeared. The artifacts was a shield which was unbreakable, a bow and arrow that can pierce any material, A sword which hones a mysterious black mist, a pair of gauntlets capable of shattering mountains with a single punch, a staff capable of unleashing the most powerful of spells, a katana that is sharper then any sword, and the being also wielded a scythe. There is no information about the powers of the scythe but according to our ancestors writings the being is always seen  holding the scythe. With all these weapons the being bestowed magic upon the world and 200 hundred thousand years later we have advanced into a modern age, no one knows what happened to the mysterious being, but the 7 ancient artifacts are rumoured to be scattered across the world." Mr Jacob continued "Many people tried using the artifacts but the artifacts has some sort of sentience it will always repel the people trying to wield it and always saying 'you are not one of the 7' Mr Jacob finishes while closing his textbook.

"would you look at that class is over, also class don't forget that we have a field trip to the museum tomorrow so please arrive earlier then usual enjoy the rest of your day" Mr Jacob said while walking out the classroom with a small smile. "Damn that was boring" Adam said putting his books in his bag "tell me about it haha" Airyl said getting up from his chair already finishing cleaning up his desk "You guys might want to wake up Zach" Nowfi and Ariff said pointing at Zach "He fell asleep again, all he knows is sleep hahaha" Jack said laughing.

"oh yeah where's kesvin?" Jack asked looking around the classroom. "He ran off to the girls classroom" Zach replied already starting to wake up "How do you know you've been asleep the entire class" Jack asked, Zach always had this ability to know what's happening even though his sleeping.

"cause he's not here and he's a pervert" Zach said walking out of the classroom "What the, when did you get there you were just beside me" Airyl said looking at Zach and back at his desk. "Magic" Zach said putting a finger on his lip signalling not to talk about it anymore. "come on let's get kesvin before he cause more trouble" Zach said walking to the girls classrooms.

After a while of climbing up the stairs and Zach complaining how much he hated stairs, there he was kesvin getting beaten up by some girls "you pervert" a girl said smacking him  the 6 of them just laughed at his misery like the true friends they were. Zach started walking to the girls who was still beating up kesvin. "Come on you big perv" Zach said while dragging kesvin to us by his shirt's collor "hmph are you just gonna let him go like that?" a girl who Jack recognises as Sandy, she is one of the popular girls at school and also because she was ranked 1st amongst the female student at their school "You guys already beaten him isn't that enough" Zach replies "He was peeking at the girls he deserves to be beaten up as a warm up" Sandy said cracking her knuckles. "Listen here lady beating him up to a pulp is enough" Zach said his eyes twitching in annoyance. "Zach I don't think we should mess with her she can whoop our ass with a finger" Ariff said pulling kesvin who was still on the ground from Zach and dragging him towards us. "I'm sorry for the trouble we caused you" Jack said smiling nervously.

"fine I'll let you off this time just don't let him do it again" Sandy said flipping her hair and walking pass us. "That was close I thought we would get our asses kicked" Adam said laughing "You know you really caused us a lot of trouble kesvin peeking when Sandy was literally on this floor" Airyl said shaking his head in disapproval. "hehehe sorry guys" Kesvin said sweat dropping from his forehead. "Whatever now that all 7 of us are here let's go to the mall" Nowfi said running down the stairs as the rest of his friends followed.
