Illusions don’t work on the blind

"Vasari, tell the truth. Did you mean to do that?" Lana asked. It was a question that she wanted to ask ever since it happened.

"With the flagpole? Nah. I just wanted to throw it somewhere on our island, but what are the chances it would hit our flagpole." Vasari answered truthfully while sitting on the couch in Lana's carriage. He wanted to watch his girls fight more, but it seemed luck wasn't, or perhaps it was, on his side.

All 7 of them immediately made their way to the carriage when Lord Supreme Mountain announced there would be a break.

Gia, Witney, Talia and Samantha sat on the bed while Lana sat on the couch next to him. Jiang Xia was sitting snuggly on Vasari's lap. He could tell she was still a bit down about what happened earlier, so he gave her some extra attention.

"So you really didn't mean to hit it?" Samantha asked for confirmation. Even she found it unbelievable that he was able to hit such a narrow target 2km away.
