1 THE VISION

"A girl falling of a building with tears of betrayal, a man with mask just staring at her"

That's what he saw, a dream so bizarre that Chen Lao woke up from his nightmare, he looks disturbed, he thinks he's seen that face somewhere, but not quite sure where. as Chen stares at the wall the alarm rings "blip blip blip blip" he looks at the alarm clock. its 8 am in the morning. Chen smiles, suddenly!!! he jumps off his bed and starts running to his bathroom, its a messy room for a 21 year old grown man, Chen comes out the bathroom completely wet he rushes to get ready for work, and he runs!! off he goes.

he reaches his workplace, its a small cafe in the middle of the city, Taiwan a buzzing city with people minding their business, its the time of the year where families get together to celebrate the lunar new year

Chen enters the cafe worried and scared as he opens the door

"CHENN LAOO!!!" his boss yells at him for coming late (park ken .. 48 year old north Korean defector, who now runs this place)

"i am really sorry sir, the bus broke down while coming " says chen, its a lie perhaps

Park ken: " you know what i am gonna cut a penalty from your salary, and go wash the dishes as the punishment "

Chen: "i am really sorry sir, i won't do this next time "

Park ken: "no bull shits now go!!"

with a nightmare dream and getting screwed from the boss chen goes to wash the dishes as told, but still chen looks paranoid about the dream and the girl , as he was washing the dishes one slips out of his hand and breaks!!, Chen slowly turns at the manager desk with fear shivering down his spine finds no one, he lets a big breath out and starts picking up the broken plates

"Tring Tring" the cafe door opens every one in the cafe stare at door to greet the customer, its a beautiful young lady she is a regular around here and the store employees in sync say "welcome" with a kind inviting smile.

but wen Chen saw her it was a different feeling, his stomach was filled with butterflies, in his head sunflowers blooming, chen was the most excited worker to see a customer, well... it is his love interest ofcourse.

he pushes Huang chao aside from the counter and takes the role of the barista. (huang chao is his really good friend, both joined together, now work together, you can call them the chao laos )

Huang; " ouch! watch out dude"

Chen: "shhh!!! she is hereee!! (whispering but excited)

Huang: "who!?"

Chen : "herrrr!!!"

Huang: "whatever man but don't let the boss catch you doing this "

Chen: " i know but go don't stand here or she might get distracted"

Huang : " its hard way of putting that i am handsome"

Chen: "its the opposite"

Huang ; .".... uncool"

huang with a kinky smile on his face leaves the counter and goes to the back of the cafe, the lady approaches chen , as she does his heart beat faster than a f1 racecar, his eyes glowing she reaches the counter to order

Chen : " can i order you get " ( he stutters )

the lady: what! ( laughs )

Chen :" (blushes) i mean can i get our order" ( he is internally embarrassed)

"thank god Huang wasn't around " thinks to himself.

the lady: (scoffs)" i would like to get a cold chai tea latte"

Chen : sure mam, can i get your name ( even tho he knows her name he wants to hear it from her mouth)

the lady: its Mei

Chen is lost... lost in love .... lost in a dream, world he stands there with no movement , Mei snaps her fingers to wake him up ,, and he does wake up,

Chen:" i... i am sorry mam please be seated we will get your order"

Mei gets seated and goes to work on her laptop, and Chen runs to the back to meet Huang

Chen;" she said it "

Huang:" said what!?"

Chen ;" her name"

huang : "dude probably everyone in this cafe knows her name and you know it too, remember last night u were taking her name in your sleep dumbo."

Chen :" you wont understand smh"

Chen prepares the order and takes it to Mei ... wen he gets closer to her ,he stumbles, tripping over a chair and spilling all the latte on her

Chen panics and rushes to wipe it of her body ... wen Chen touches Meis hand

a spark appears, the vison is back, the same women falling of a building and a man watching

what does this mean????
