1 Chapter 0 : Light and Darknes
Travelling alone in a deserted land abandoned by the ancient gods and humans alike a young man seeks to know what the future holds for him. He walked three days and three nights accompanied only by his cloak and staff until he stopped in an empty space. He stood there motionless but suddenly with a simple gesture of his right hand a castle appeared. It looked empty at first but who knows what resides in there. In this world anything can happen and it would still be seen as normal.
The man still standing in front of the castles glanced at the gates and shouted from the top of his lungs :
"CLOTHO! LAHKESIS! ATROPOS! IT IS I MERLIN. PLEASE LET ME IN."
As he said those words the doors opened but what greet him was not happy to see him ; the moment he set foot into the castle a creature jumped onto him, it looked human however it wasn't ,this was a ghoul a mythical being known to live in lands where death reigns. Its sole purpose is to attract and feed upon lost travellers. Normally it would take the form of a beautiful woman to lure his victims but from the sight of this "wizard" it forgot its basic instinct. The scream of such a monster can install fear into ordinary folks unfortunately for him the person in front of it had faced much fiercer opponents. With just a glare Merlin froze his assaillant in mid-air.
"I've missed you too Lucy but right now I don't have time to play," said the wizard sarcastically. "Now where are your mistresses they wouldn't let their favourite pet in this castle alone. Moreover, since they were expecting company to arrive."
"Shut up. Child of evil what brings you here in our lands? Does your little king wish to know what destiny has in store for him? said a woman hiding in the shadows full with anger and hate. This was Clotho the eldest sister.
"Does he want to know when he will die or if he will win the war plaguing his kingdom?" said another younger than the previous and mischievious too. That was Atropos she likes to taunt those who enter her castle.
"No sisters, neither of those things are enough to bless us with his visit." replied a third voice coming from behind Merlin, "You've seen the signs, haven't you? The ones leading up to the birth of the prophecised child."
Merlin turns around and there stood the most beautiful woman that ever walked the surface of the earth. She was indeed stunning with her long black hair, beautiful green eyes and black dress a goddess who has descended from the heavens. Nonetheless, behind those artifice hides something much horrible to the human eyes.
"New meatsuit Lahkesis?"
"Don't try change the subject wizard! This is important as among the seeds you planted may rest the hope or doom of humanity." replied coldly Lahkesis the middle sister who compared to the other two wasn't angry to see the sorcerer but rather pleased.
After hearing this Merlin took off his cloak, looked at the woman with a frightened expression. "Show it to me. The future which awaits my children."
