In this circle, everyone, including Astaroth, felt sorrow and despair when seeing that these souls are truly punished and at the same time, they are condemned to be whipped by a strong cold wind that attacks them and makes them collide with each other without rest.

In this circle, there are the following famous figures who are: Semiramis, Dido, Cleopatra, Helena, Achilles, Paris, Tristan, Francesca de Rimini, Lanzarote, and Guinevere, who was carried away by the desire for lust and the carnal desires that they felt between them, Guinevere being married to King Arthur.
