The Child Soldier's Reincarnation

'The Weapon', that was what the soldiers called him. A young boy who ran into battle and simply killed what he was told to. All the higher ups used him as a tool, so calling him a weapon was rather fitting. He was a child who's talent was monstrous, he lived in a world where people produced 'Aura.' And although his Aura pool was rather large it wasn't what made him so monstrous, he possessed a Unique Attribute. The Corruption Attribute, it could stop natural regeneration, make the body and the ground crumble to dust. It made things decay and was like a poison. On top of that, he had a level of intelligence that would surpass even graduates of famous universities. His martial skills were also powerful, he could copy martial arts with a glance. However, he had been brainwashed and drugged to the point where he couldn't disobey. One night he was sent to battle and never returned. The Weapon only had one belonging, a book, it was the book written by the first person that he had killed. And he had reincarnated as a villain... _______________________________________________ All the art, the covers and in the images used in this book belong to their respective owners, I do not claim to own these images. Chapter 90 - The First Group Activity [3]

A/N: My b for the late chap we had some complications 💀

Valier POV:

"So, now that we've got a dead boar, there's a couple of things we can do. We could base our camp around this place and ration this boar out to make it last as long as possible, or we could also move on from this area and find other groups and hunt, or finally, we could do a mixture of those two and have some food before moving out."

Angelica explained the situation to us. I, personally, was in favor of looking for other groups immediately.

"We should hunt another group down, if we wait too long, everyone's gonna tire out, and if they do, I won't have any fun."

"I fucking hate your reasoning, but now that you mention that, the opposite is just as true. This, here, is the best condition we and our weapons will be in. Our physique-wielding freak also isn't the only one with a physique."

Then, I looked at Angelica with a raised eyebrow before I realized something. She hadn't seemed to realize that it was not only Magic, but all supernatural phenomena that were not allowed to exist.

Now, I wasn't gonna tell her that I was a normal human right now. I wanted to see her reaction when she realized everything that I had done, everything that I would do, was done with a body blessed by neither Mana nor a Physique, that it had all been done by a regular person.

In other words I wanted to show off a little. Okay, maybe I wanted to show off a lot. I knew I was being arrogant, I knew that I was being self centered and selfish by essentially forcing my group to follow me around so I could fight as many people as possible.

And I knew there was no reason to do this, but... but for some reason, I wanted to do this. I supposed the why didn't matter, after all, this whole thing was mostly irrelevant. I was really only trying to have fun.

And so, my group agreed with what I had said. Not because they thought it was inherently better than any of the options Angelica had given, but it was because I was the one who had said it. They were under the assumption that I was still a superhuman, and therefore, they viewed me the same way a human would face a natural disaster.

With the utmost caution.

And so, we moved out of the forest we were in. I was at the front with Dante at my side. Behind us were Isabel and Angelica.

I looked at my handcuffs, along with the weights attached to my ankles. Honestly, I could probably break these somehow, but... these chains and weights were probably considered my 'weapon.'

In this activity, we'd be graded. And how you handled your Weapon, made use of it, and how well you maintained it would all affect your grade. Now, a chip in a sword wouldn't exactly make you lose any points. But, shattering the chains and abandoning my weights would cause my grade to plummet.

And so, I wouldn't be able to get rid of these weights or chains. Not that it was a big deal, I'd figure it out. There were very few people here who could actually threaten me, and despite me being stronger than them, if all of them were to attack…

I'd probably need to get a little serious.

As we walked, we started hearing some rustling ahead, the rustling soon turned into clashes of metal before it turned into what could only be described as animalistic screaming.

"I'm going to speed up now, so catch up. You'll hear where I am."

I told this to my group and then, I ran. A dust cloud formed with each step as I accelerated. I got faster and faster until I finally saw eight people engaged in combat.

When I got close enough, I jumped. I practically flew into some random person and slammed into them. When we landed, I was on top of them, and then I quickly placed my hands on their throat and began to choke them out. They clawed at my hands and they began to froth from the mouth before they finally gave up and passed out.

I turned around, and looked at them all. I was crouched down and still on top of my first victim. Then, I stood up and ran towards the person with the weapon with the longest reach, and that was a girl with a katana in hand.

The girl held her stance and prepared to attack. She raised her sword high and swung down when I was in range, but her attack was so painfully slow. Before her blade could even approach my body, I launched a low kick and her body fell to the floor as her knee went out in a direction that it ordinarily couldn't. As I approached her, I prepared to maim her, but unfortunately, the remaining 6 had regained their composure and one of them had slammed into me, knocking me away from their comrade's body.

I then ran to the one who had knocked me to the side. He had some muscle on his frame and was rather heavy, so I decided to play his game. I ran at him at top speed and slammed my knee into his stomach. Then, while he was stunned, I slammed my forehead into his teeth. I grabbed his face and repeatedly bashed my skull into his mouth. I felt his tears roll onto my forehead, his blood splatter, and his teeth shatter.

Soon, he collapsed onto the floor. He seemed to have given up and passed out.

I turned around and looked at the remaining 5. Blood covered my forehead and began to redden my hair.

"I should cut my hair." I muttered as I felt it stick to the blood on my face.

"Next."

I spoke quietly, but I was sure everyone heard me. There was an almost eerie silence when I spoke. I could see the fear beginning to take hold. These people weren't soldiers who were capable of suppressing their fear.

They were inexperienced children who had never faced someone who was overwhelmingly stronger. I was sure it was an unknown feeling for these children, who had been revered as great talents and even geniuses.

The fear of the unknown was among the greatest fears that humans feared. What humans did not understand, they attempted to stamp out of existence.

And when Humanity's blade could not reach the throat of the unknown threat, when they couldn't understand the threat before them, they referred to them as a...

"M-Monster..."

Then, I heard rustling in the bushes behind me and soon, a spear was launched right at me. It was launched with such speed and power that even I was surprised. As the spear approached me, I quickly stepped to the side to dodge it. The spear then flew into a tree, impaling the tree, sticking to it like glue.

"Guess I'm next."

From the bushes came forth one of the only people in this place who I would consider strong.

Leon.

Before I could reply, he ran towards me and slammed his fist into my jaw, and at the same time, I drove my knee into his ribs.

He grinned as my knee left cracks in his ribs.

He kept throwing attacks at me. Each attack had an almost surprising amount of weight behind them, but I dodged each one of them.

"You look like you worked out a bit, Leon."

He smiled again, this time, slamming his fists into my stomach.

"I could say the same about you. The fuck are you made out of? You didn't even flinch when I hit you with my all."

I then kicked his chest and made him take a few steps back. And then, I smirked very slightly.

"Don't play dumb. It's because your best isn't good enough to beat me, someone like you would be able to tell from that first exchange."

Leon smiled as he gripped his side.

"I'm fucked. Aren't I?"
