Chapter 13

As Angelica was walking out the room I momentarily considered getting rid of her. She wanted to control me, I will not be turned into a mere puppet again. But I dismissed the thought almost immediately, I didn't particularly want to make an enemy out of an entire country.

Well, not this country anyways, there are going to be wars in the future. And I don't plan on shying away from them.

I am the Reaper, I will slaughter this entire continent if need be. But I probably won't need to so its fine. Speaking of this world, the world is only a single continent. Every stretch of land is connected or is an island.

This was made so there wouldn't be any nationalism within the game and so it could be more immersive. I would likely meet a large number of the leading figures on this continent at some point in my life. That was how important I was, but there were still many people who wanted to kill me.

There should have been an assassin sent by a foreign country at Angelica's party. A year hasn't even passed, but the plot is already changing, in every story line there's been an assassin. This is rather troubling, I'd love to investigate it but I'm busy.

So I'll have to create a group of subordinates for myself, after my birthday there'll be 'those two' people to act as my shadows. They'll face some troubles a little bit after my birthday, I'll recruit them then. But for now, I need to be able to use my bloodline ability more effectively.

Although I can fight with my bare hands, it'll be easier to use weapons. Or rather it'll just make use of my plethora of combat knowledge.

Once I was all healed up, Lucas and Irene entered the room. Lucas had a grim face while Irene simply rushed straight to me and hugged me as tightly as she could.

"We're returning home, I'll have a talk with you later."

Lucas, spoke sternly, his eyes seemed both pained and angered. I was interested in what his next moves would be, but regardless of what happened it would be safe to assume that the noble who attacked Lillian would 'dissappear.'

On the way back my mother held on to me and Lillian tightly, I looked at her. She was sleeping comfortably, that was probably for the better. When we returned home my father took me to the side and looked at me plainly.

"We're slaughtering those pigs who call themselves nobles, the Godhart house has told us to do what we deemed fit. I saw how enraged you were during that fight, so I'll offer you this. Come with me when we take down their house, we've made sure no one will interfere."

"And what do you want in return?"

I dropped the act, well temporarily, I'll go back to being childlike soon enough. But for now, I'll simply put my effort into a different act.

"Well this is more a condition than anything, but. No matter what, leave the head of their family to me. I will tear that man limb from limb."

'No wonder Reinhardt never had a decent life, he never had any decent fucking role models. His father seems to be a bit of a crackhead, who tells their child things like this? And his mother, I actually don't know much about her. Nor do I particularly care about her, but maybe she could have been a decent role model for him. But maybe she was what spoiled him, that overwhelming love she showed probably was what made him so useless.'

These conditions were sure to raise a horrible child, a mother who could only spoil her son and a father who didn't know how to act around a child. However, these conditions were perfect for me, it gave me some freedom.

After my father was finished talking to me I went straight to bed. The next day I went about my day as usual, once I finished my academic classes I went to the training room where Aurora was waiting for me.

She was also present at the party but chose to talk to me later, this was to hide that she was my teacher. Aurora was a teacher at Babylon Academy. The continent's best academy and the place where I'd likely attend in the future.

Normally they taught exclusively at the academy, but she and my father were acquainted. So I had the privilege of being taught by her. The good thing about her was that she wouldn't pull her punches and wasn't afraid to hurt me, this made it easier to get used to using mana in combat.

"Get ready, I've heard of your upcoming 'mission.' It'll happen in a months time, in that time the plan is to get you comfortable creating and maintaining a weapon for at least an hour."

She was wearing a sports bra and a pair of leggings, her clothes showed off her abs. They were fairly visible but not overly defined, if I was someone who was into tomboys I may have passed out on the spot. But I wasn't, but I did find her hair and eyes nice to look at. But that was about it for what I thought of her looks.

As a warrior, she was strong, stronger than I have ever been. But if I had a larger Aura pool in my past life I probably could have grown stronger than her. But that doesn't really matter, before I could continue my inner monologue Aurora glared at me.

I took off my sweater, I was wearing a simple white top and a pair of black trousers. I concentrated, then out of nothingness itself came a scythe. It was rather large, but not so large that it was annoying. It had gold highlights on it, the blade wasn't too curved but it was still razor sharp. The back side of the scythe was sharpened, it was designed so it could be planted into the ground or be used to stab someone.

Aurora raised her eye brows but composed herself soon after. She brought out a silver coin and flipped it, as soon as it hit the ground she rushed forth. She brought her fist right to my chest, I grabbed my scythe near the bottom and made the back of the blade rush towards her neck. She weaved down and out of the way with a smirk on her face, she kicked me right on the stomach and sent me crashing on to a wall. I coughed up blood.

'Jesus christ, what the fuck is this woman? And why did Lucas think this was a good idea? He gave Aurora the okay sign to cause internal damage because we have potions at the ready? Seriously man, just why did the developers want to fuck Reinhardt up so much?'

I got up from the rubble and clasped my chest, I coughed up some blood. My scythe, 'Crescent Moon', its the exact same scythe I used back on earth.

The scythe dissapated into the nothingness it was born from and smoke danced and billowed as it dissapeared. And then a sword formed in my hand, 'Edge Of Nightfall' it was another weapon from my past life , it was as sharp as it was edgy. The blade was similar to a katana albeit however it was a bit longer than your average katana, the handle was closer to western fantasy's sword. The sword and blade were completely black, however the hilt was a beautiful shade of gold.

I swung my sword to the left hand side and cracked the floor.

"Oh? A sword? In that case I'll have to show some courtesy and use a sword of my own."

Aurora went to the back of the room and picked up a regular sword, I call it a regular sword but it was actually rather expensive.

She drew her sword and got into a stance.

"Now then, make a move, as the future Archduke you can't keep a lady waiting can you?"

Author Note: Check the comments where the weapons names are first mentioned, you should find images for the weapons, just for reference since I didn't really know how to describe them.
