Chapter 37: Explanations
Chris POV:
Chris knocked on the door of their shared home, finally coming to his senses.
He couldn’t run out like before, hide away like a scared little boy.
They had a pack to think of and they couldn't continue to be so weak.
“Asa, please open the door,” Chris called out and he heard light footsteps coming towards him before the door cracked, just broad enough to show Asa’s eye.
It looked bloodshot, as if Asa had spent hours crying.
“We need to talk. I know that I said hurtful things, but I don’t think that you listened to me,” Chris began and Asa opened the door again, his hips square as if looking for another fight.
Chris wrapped his arms around the shorter man, squashing the fight that had geared up in Asa.
