9 Diary 9: Encounter with The Goddess

David then leads Min Soo to an open field area, he displays his power there. He draws his sword, and then a sudden surge of fire engulfs his sword. Min Soo gasps as he swings his fiery sword. The blonde-haired man then performs a clean cut on an apple tree in front of him. The tree falls down.

David then sheath his sword back, the flames faded out from his sword. Min Soo's eyes brightened up, his eyes filled with fascination. David explains that a person that's able to use these abilities is called the Visioners. They're gifted with the blessing of demons and gods, the Mana that flows within the Visioners are thanks to the great war in the past.

The clash between Lucis Infernum and Sanctus Luminera, some people are compatible with the power, some remain as an ordinary citizen. Hearing this makes the idol wonder whether he had the potential to have a special power, the power to protect everyone around him. David unsheathes his silver sword again, blazing the blade with his fiery power.

Min Soo tries to find a place for him to take cover since the man is still exhausted from the sudden teleportation from Seoul. He wants to quench his thirst for adventure, and yet at the same time he wants to go home and continue his career. As soon as he sees another apple tree quite far, he walks there as he sits under the tree.

Since he's been resting for a day yesterday, he doesn't feel as exhausted as when he's in Seoul. The food was delicious, David treats him nicely that Min Soo feels bad for using his kindness. Min Soo rests his head, leaning on the hard apple tree behind him. As the wind breezes through the greenery, David practices his swordsmanship in front of him.

Min Soo slowly closes his eyes, letting the breeze gets the best of his sleepiness. It's been a while since he's able to rest his eyes and dozes off. He tries to open his eyes, but the breeze was too nice.

The pink-haired idol dozes off as he lets his snores do the talking. David who practices from a distance lets out a small smile when he sees the sight of the Idol asleep.

He was awakened in the middle of the sea, the saltwater wets his entire body. As soon as the idol comes to, he was welcomed by a floating woman in front of him. She's clad in the pink aura, wearing majestic clothes with exposing clothes that seem similar to a bikini. The woman loomed above the sleepy idol.

She touches his chest and all of the sudden, his body feels hot. The Idol feels something feels erupting inside him, after that the woman before he touches his lips. A sharp pain stung his lips, he lost his ability to speak at that time as the pain then scorches to his throat. He wants to ask her what's the big idea, but he couldn't reply.

"You're a foreigner that comes from another world" the beautiful blonde woman speaks in elegance with a hint of flirtation. "There is a reason why I am here".

Kim Min Soo raises his brows puzzled, the woman before him seems to know a few things or two about the reason why he's there. She explains gently that she was the one who summoned Kim Min Soo in this world, the reason is that Sanctus Luminera is in danger.

Min Soo raises her brows yet again, not understanding why he was chosen amongst the others.

"I know you must be confused, but let me clarify the reason why" the woman sighs. "I'm sure you're aware that David explains that the seal between the two worlds has reached its limits, some demons can get out from Lucis Infernum to attack the surface dwellers".

"Surface dwellers?" Min Soo asks her.

Surface dwellers are the citizens of Sanctus Luminera, it's their other names. Lucis Infernum is crawling with demons and death eaters, the enemies of mankind the surface dwellers. The woman spoke that she chose Min Soo for a reason, and that is because of his exhaustion to his daily life in Seoul.

"My name is Aphrodite, I am the Goddess of Love and governs the Aquos elements" she smiles at Min Soo. "I have bestowed you my power, to protect the Sanctus Luminera from the crack".

"The crack? Just a second here Aphrodite" Min Soo protest. "I'm just an ordinary human! I only want to find a way back home! My career is at stake! I have no time dilly-dallying in this world".

Ignoring the Idol pleas, the woman sends him away through a whirlpool vortex below him. Being sucked inside the whirlpool, the man feels as if a surge of energy surges through him. The woman bid him farewell as the man gets sucked into the whirlpool. Min Soo reaches out his hand, but the only thing he reaches is air.

Min Soo blinks for a moment, the moment he wakes up he holds onto a book in his hand. It's a brown-colored book with a certain pattern. It's a heart pattern with a symbol of water. Min Soo grabs the book, a puzzled look plastered on the Idol's face. He opens the grimoires only to reveal unknown runes that he somehow can read.

As expected, the Idol is uncertain from where does the book come from. However, that book embodies a certain power, the Idol knows this because he can feel the innate power surges inside the book. It's not as if he can read the cryptic runes, he never even learned about it. Strangely enough, he can read the cryptic writings with no problem.

"What is this?" Min Soo thought to himself as he flips the book in front of him.

He remembers that the reason he's summoned in this world is because of the Goddess's influence. If he has more time to talk to her, then the man might be able to find a way back home to Seoul, his home.
