7 Diary 7: Arachnosia, The City of Fabrics

David shows Min Soo around the country as soon as he regains his energy, the next thing he woke up, started with a fancy dinner David prepared on the dining table on the first floor. It's a chicken steak with a mushroom sauce, it's delicious and a masterpiece. Different from Seoul, the steak taste is something like how westerner country is.

The man leads Min-Soo to Arachnesia, showing him around the city that is wonderful and beautiful, as soon as the man lands in the foreign city all eyes are on him. Arachnesia Country is a small country that prospers in fabric factories.

As soon as the two enter the country, it's guarded by knights in armors. Min Soo's eyes travel toward the clothes store along the streets.

The store clerks all look fashionable, with a European vibe dress on them. Their dresses are frilly and elegant, Min Soo can only gulp at the beautiful clothes that are displayed on the store display stages. Not only that, there's a sight of giant spider roaming

Whenever the two of them make an entrance, somehow the city folks bow their head to David who passes by. Min Soo treads lightly behind David who dresses like an adventurer, with his silver ear clip. He proudly shows off the Arachnesia country with a fluent speech. The man then shows him to one of the clothes stores.

"You can buy your clothes here, I'll pay for it" he smiles. "Consider it as my thanks".

"Huh? But you-".

"I insist" he smiles.

Min Soo has to oblige to his insistence, even though the man doesn't like the idea to owe on someone. The Idol browses the clothes store with bright gazes, his eyes aimed at the fabrics that are sold at the end of the corridor. Curiosity gets the best of him as he touches the materials of the fabrics.

It's soft and quite good on the skin, the fabric doesn't irritate the skin. Min Soo smiles when he feels the tenderness of the fabric. It's been a while since he sews clothes, the smell of fabrics made him miss sewing. The last time he sewed was when he was in high school, his mother mocks his hobby due to the fact sewing is not masculine enough.

"What's wrong?" David notices his fascination toward the blue fabric before him.

"Hm? Oh, it's nothing" he sighs as he walks away involuntarily.

The man is insecure about his hobbies, he knows well that people like to judge if they know his hobbies. Min Soo pulls himself from the fabric, he picks the most well-dressed shirt for him to wear. He can't tarnish his reputation as an Idol, it's latched within him like glue. He loves the color blue, so he chooses a light blue t-shirt with navy trousers.

However, even when he chooses those clothes; the man insists on buying more. David tells him directly.

"You need more clothes, you're going to stay here for a while right?" David sighs.

The man had a point, not even Min Soo knows when he can go home. With David's money, he's able to buy five more clothes for him to wear. The Idol's eyes still latched on the fabric that was sold at the back area of the store. After that, David keeps showing him off around the country, which consisted mostly of boutiques

The bustling country is swamped by fashionable iconic characters, it is as if he's in another true world. After walking through the crowds, at the back of the country is a spider's den, inside the den was the spider laying eggs.

The threads the giant spiders laid were collected by the staff inside the silvery den as the giant spider hisses at the staff uncomfortably.

Min Soo gulps as he sees the giant spider with the size of a lion, the purple and green stripes on its belly made him feel uncomfortable. He remembers somewhere that colorful spider means the spider can be venomous. The idol pokes David, asking him whether the spider is dangerous. David nods to his curiosity, the spiders are indeed dangerous.

"These spiders are called Arachnida, they produced the best quality silks with magic imbues within every thread" David explains lightheartedly. "Arachnosia is a city of fashion, the spiders are how they thrive even if the country is small".

Min Soo thinks deeply as he sees the spiders roam inside the cage, laying eggs and leaving the silky threads everywhere. It's a wonderful sight, a scene that the Idol won't see anywhere in his real world, Seoul. As the eggs inside the den hatches, the newborn babies come out as they surround their mother.

Even though the spiders are scary, it somehow fascinates the Idol that he's able to see the birth of a new creature before him. David smiles lightly, seeing how excited the Idol is. As he shows him around, David's curiosity gets the best of him. The man knows that the Idol is from another world, the man then starts questioning the Idol's hometown.

"I know this is out of nowhere but what is your home like?"David asks.

He doesn't mean to be intrusive, but he's curious about the Idol's previous world. Min Soo gives it a thought as they walk away from the Arachnida's farm. The idol explains his hometown Seoul to David, surely the metropolitan city is way much different than a small country like Arachnosia. However, one thing for sure is that Min Soo loves the atmosphere in Arachnosia country.

It is his first time gaining such freedom, after being cocooned inside his condominium with the rest of his boy group members. Being an Idol means less time to travel outside supervises, he could do that but sometimes his fans always manage to spot him. It'll be a hassle if they start swarming around him.

"Seoul is a more modern city than Arachnosia?" David asks curiously.

"Yes, it's a metropolitan city" Min Soo nods. "Lots of people flocks around and city lights rarely goes out".

David nods as the man looks at Min Soo's bright expression, the Idol is nervous that he won't be able to go home. However, now he's truly enjoying the new atmosphere in the new world he sets on. David explained to him before that he sets himself in a world called Sanctus Luminera, a land where Gods and mankind coexist.

The Idol hasn't ask again since he's currently invested with the beautiful sights around him, the tall country buildings, victorian era clothes, the man is too delighted to even care where he is right now.

David can sense Min Soo's enthusiasm in knowing the world he's in, somehow it also delights her to see a foreign creature ends up in the world he lives in.

"Alright, that's enough tour for now" David chuckles. "I should show you how to gain money in this world".

Min Soo froze in his place, the thought of gaining money in the world he's in never crosses his mind. Of course, the Idol needs to find a source of income to buy things like food, clothes, and other daily necessities. After that, he leads Min Soo to a large tower building on the far east corner of Arachnosia city.

The building has an orange flag on top, showing off an orange compass icon flag.

"Let me show you, a guild" he points toward the tower. "The place where you can get your money".
