Writing quality has improved leaps and bounds as the chapters went on, currently, chapter 40 is the best. I can see the quality increasing as the story progresses. Story development is good and has a perfect pace. Although a bit inspired by Second life ranker, the story still has it's own uniqueness. Character design is satisfactory as there are some loopholes which can be ignored. Update stability is very good as the chapters are big enough. World background as I mentioned is a bit inspired from Second life ranker but I can see that author has put a lot of work into this story, I mainly impressed by the amount of effort put on the system in the plot. The only reason this masterpiece is not getting a five star is that no one questions the MC about why he is so strong or how he got the info of future levels or the background about the whole situation. An overpowered mc who seems to have no counterpart like a good enemy might be the only drawback. I hope the author corrects these issues but as it's still in early stage I can ignore it.

I don't often give reviews, but this story is just too good. The MC is strong and able to plan ahead while not being too smart to stop readers from connecting to him. Good job author

only 7 chapters so far but they are 7 quite good chapters! the writing is quite good and while the idea isn't completely original I quite like the direction it's going and the execution is fabulous. I would give it a read if you are considering!

I won't say it is the best novel out here but it certainly one of them. The novel is astonishing and mind blowing. I am really expectant of the future updates

Great story but sadly has not updated in a while and I no longer know if it has been dropped or not. Hope it can make a comeback.

I love this story. It’s an amazing story and I have barely any criticisms except the fact that it needs to start UPLOADING AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! The author just up and left. No reasoning. Nothing. Just disappeared into thin air.

Exciting and thrilling, funny and sad and so many other emotions. This book has them all, I loved every moment of it. So much so I sacrificed sleep and nearly ended up sacrifing my work just to read this book, and then there were no more chapters.... I hope you'll upload more chapters soon!

When it comes to Tower-like stories, this has managed to surpass it's predecessors. Author is very imaginative when it comes skills. The stats are also precisely calculated. So far no romance, but I feel this story won't have romance at all. This is also literally a tag. Story is slow-paced. You may not realise it because chapters were very long in the beginning. No plot-holes so far. Focuses on the team too much. I hope author doesn't focus too much on the communication between the team. Right now, the MC is literally like an old man which in fact he is. But this is also a demerit if we have our MC acts like an old man always. He's too serious, which is a huge demerit.

I became a total sucker for Tower based stories after discovering Tower of God...but even if I hadn't, I would have become one after finding this. I've followed The Challenger's Return since I think before the 30th chapter, before it was very well known at all or even able to have coins on chapters, and now that it's "made it" I can safely say it's one of the best darn stories on this site and I'm going to keep throwing coins at it for as long as I can. I could go on and on about what makes it so great, but instead of inflicting you all with a text wall I'll just say: check it out yourself, already!

I will give my honest opinion, this is the first book that I've subscribed to priviledge and gifted! Excellent writing, interesting story.

I’ve read quite a few books of the same genre and i must say that this book ranks near the top of my list. The characters are well flushed out, the worldbuliding is phenominal and the MC is consistent with his values. the best part of this novel is that waxh chapter is long enough to leave the reader satisfied with the wait between each release. All i can say is, keep up the good work author and i can’t wait for the next chapter.

This book is an unfinished masterpiece , up to chapter 62 you have one of the best excecuted goingback in time Apokalypse world story on webnovel. All i can hope for is more chapters in the same quality as they are now.
