The Return

As Sara rode in silence from the Christmas Party, that she left early so the employees could actually enjoy it, she looked at the private airport they drove pass and saw two black private jets surrounded by bodyguards. Looking at the sight she asked, "Frank are there any VIPs in town now?"

The man promptly answered, " The King of Denmark has decided to make a visit for some reason. They also have reached out to your office for a meeting. One last thing your family has visited the mansion and are currently there." Sara glanced over at Frank before coldly responding, "what family? My father knows better than to show up unannounced." Frank shuddered slightly before responding, "It's your uncle and his family. No one has reported to me who allowed them in or who told them where you live yet." Sara nodded as she continued to look out the window as the car made its way home.

Meanwhile across the city, a young man burst into the office built into the hotel suite. The old man sitting at the desk glared at the intruder, however his gaze softened slightly looking at who entered. "Sir, he's back" The old man's eyes widened as he took in the news. "Are you sure?" His tone serious as he finally recovered from the shock. "Yes sir" the man nodded as he opened a video on his tablet. "He's still cloaked but his pin can be seen here." The video, while not the clearest, was still able to show a ruby jeweled wolf pin. The old man set the tablet down as he turned around looking over the city, "why now? What's so special that makes you appear now?" He softly muttered as he picked up a glass of whiskey before downing it all.

Back at the runway.…

"Father, why have we suddenly come here? It's approaching Christmas and it won't look good if the King and the Crown Prince aren't in the country." The old man snorted before stopping and observing the group exiting the plane next to them. He let out a sigh before looking at the young man behind them. The man only gave a slight nod before walking past them. The King looked at his son before saying, "When you become king, some things will come to light that you didn't know were possible in this world. This is my last Christmas as King. I will abdicate and you will begin carrying this burden." The young Prince eyes widened as he looked at his father before he found his voice, "Father your only turning 60 this year why are you doing this? You still have years of guidance to still give to our country." As the two walked towards the waiting cars the King finally spoke, "on this trip you will meet a man who will destroy your entire view point on the world. He is a man who taught me many things I didn't believe were possible and he will teach you aswell. Do not be fooled by his age though." He then nodded at the young man who was always around. After closing the door to the car after his son got in, the king looked past the man, at the group entering cars on the parking spot next to them, before speaking in a language that was believed to be long dead, "tell your master that I request a meeting with him." As the king turned back and entered the car the wind gusted, blowing up the man's collar revealing a very similar pin to Sean's group. However instead of a wolf the animal was a raven. The man looked over at Sean, who was entering the car, smiled softly and muttered, "maybe you'll let me by your side once again."

As Sara walked into the house, that was getting more empty by the day as the staff was packing up by the day, she heard a woman's voice say, "how can she possibly be that rich. It looks like they're moving out because they can't afford to live here and her husband is so old." Sara walked into the main living room to see her uncle and aunt with their son and daughter. She then noticed David coming from the bar in the adjacent room. He simply nodded at her before taking the bottle of alcohol out the back door with him. Sara glared at her family before coldly asking, "why are you here?"

Everyone else in the room shivered except her cousin, as he just raised his eyebrow before a smirk appeared on his face. Suddenly Sara's uncle shouted, "you brat who are you to talk to me like this."

"Last I checked you're still in my house and uninvited at that." Sara stated as she was getting angry unleashing an aura that wasn't her usual one.

As everyone was trying to recover from the domineering aura that suddenly appeared in the room, suddenly a commotion was heard coming in from the door. Soon many business leaders were seen filing past Sara heading upstairs to the built in office of the mansion. The commotion even caused Sara to turn and watch the entourage going up stairs when suddenly a man wearing an all black business suit, perfectly trimmed beard and his short wavy hair entered the room. Glancing around his eyes seemed to be the color of gold, shining brightly, but made everyone feel he was able to see through their souls. As Sean stood there he glanced around then suddenly pulled a sword from the statue he was standing next to slashing it towards Sara but skimming just past her head. Suddenly the clinking of metal contacting metal was heard ringing in her ears.
