The Ice Queen Claims Her Throne

In the Dearborn Industries main conference room....

The group of people were waiting for the next data dump. One of the gentleman perked up, "why does he do this, wouldn't it be best if we got constant updates?" there was silence to his question when Kimberly responded, "remember the last time we were attacked like this, most of y'all freaked out over every single thing before he got here and figured out the real problem." Some of the people nodded before someone else perked up, "how far is he, he should be here by now." everyone looked at the clock hanging above the chair for the Chairman when the door to the conference room opened.

Sara walked in escorted by four bodyguards and immediately sat down in the Chairman's seat. She immediately opened the laptop in front of her and unlocked it. Without acknowledging the room she looked at the reports on the laptop. Soon the room was filled with sounds of emails and messages swarming phones and laptops. Sara coldly looked over the top of the laptop at the group of people glancing between her and their phones. "silence them now." The cold voice instantly reminding everyone of Sean. Quickly all of the phones and laptops were muted, as everyone then turned to look at Sara. When the room was filled with silence she looked back at the reports in front of her before she picked up a pen and began tapping it rhythmically on the table. The other executives looked at each other questioningly but no one dared asked the question, 'who is this woman?' They knew they couldn't ask, because only the Chairman could unlock the laptop that was sitting there. After a few minutes, everyone turned their attention to the reports that were now flooding in real time. As when Sara unlocked the laptop, she lifted the data lock on them.

About thirty minutes of the only sound in the room, being Sara tapping the pen, fingers on keyboards, and the occasional scribble on paper, a calm and soothing voice was heard, "Kimberley what is the overall effect of the data breach to the share price?" Everyone in the room froze as they looked in the direction of the voice. Kimberly, experienced with Sean's methods, quickly responded, "so far we've seen a 2% drop in prices and they continue to decline." Sara shook her head before standing up and walking around the room, "Something seems wrong, if I were to attack Dearborn, my method would be far more detrimental and ruthless. I mean you are attacking the biggest corporation. So why are we only seeing a two percent drop. It doesn't add up." The people looked around the room realizing how right she was. Soon after Sara paused, "what major companies do we have shares in but aren't under our direct umbrella?" One of the men coughed before responding, "Ma'am we own shares in thousands of companies small and large all around the world. Compiling that list and going through it all would take weeks if not months." The others began to nod before Sara responded, "Those little companies wouldn't cause this. Begin with the largest and lets work from there."

Soon the room was filled with typing and scribbling again. It continued like this for a long while when suddenly Sara said, "Stupid! We are all morons." Everyone looked at her bewildered, why would she suddenly announce that? She quickly went to a news report about Sean's first press conference. After listening to the highlights, someone spoke, "What does this have to do with anything?" Sara shook her head, "We've thought of this all wrong. We thought this was an attack on Dearborn, but lets look at it as an attack on Sean McAlester. What better way to attack him then put a proxy fight on his largest enterprise, when the real target is something else. In this press conference, He came out as Chairman of Dearborn, but also as the chairman of Mystycs and Hughes. This third, y'all take care of Hughes and check them out and we will take care of Mystycs, the remaining compile a list of companies that could be detrimental to both or either. I know it'll be a big list but we must gain some knowledge on who we are fighting."

Soon everyone was working on the assigned tasked. Sara glanced around the room before walking over to Kimberly, after exchanging some words, she walked back to her laptop. As Sara typed away, she pulled out her phone before sending three quick texts, the last one to Sean. She then watched the room like a hawk, when she noticed one of the men in the room pull outside his phone and smirk. Sara rose and walked over to the body guard who promptly handed her, his gun. Sara immediately disconnected Sean's laptop from everything before firing two quick rounds into it. The sound of the firearm going of echoed in the room, ringing in people's ears. Sara walked over to the man before resting the gun on his shoulder. Gone was the bright blue eyes, calm face and professional smile. Now all that showed was icy blue eyes that seemed to pierce your soul and a sinister smile on her face. "Your cell phone" the icy voice swirled through the room like a winters breeze. The man pulled out a phone before a sinister laugh rang out from Sara. "Not that one silly. I want the other one, or you loose a knee, pick one." The man fished out the other phone handing it to Sara. She walked back and sat in the Chairman's seat before looking at the phone. She set down the phone and then the gun next to it. Resting her hands on the table she finally spoke, "Do you care to explain why my text messages are being forwarded to your phone? Or would you rather explain how you planted a virus in Dearborn servers to cause this attack." The man scoffed, "what's it matter to you. You're just the fired CEO of Hughes. We all know John is in charge there now."

Suddenly the door opened as Claire, John and Frank walked in with a dozen more men. Everyone knew the people who entered as Sean's closest confidants. What truly sent a shockwave through the room, was when John spoke to Sara, "Madam Chairman everything you've asked for is ready." Sara smiled at John before looking back at the man, who sat frozen in his seat. Sara's smiled seemed to change as she turned back to the man, growing even more sinister. Finally after a brief pause she spoke, "See it does matter to me, as the chairman of this company and also as the wife of Sean."

"I don't believe that" the man shouted back, soon followed by a chorus of agreement from other members. John quickly held up his hand silencing the room. He may have been an assistant turned CEO, but everyone knew he had Sean's ear, one bad word from John meant their careers would be over. John walked over to the projector and hooked up a laptop he brought showing the pictures the news captured of the couple coming out of the airport. Then he opened a website where the giant headline read: 'MOVE OVER BUSINESS KING. THE ICE QUEEN CLAIMS HER THRONE.' The story's first line in huge letters read, "Sean McAlester announced today that his wife, Sara Morgan, has taken over as Chairwoman of Dearborn Industries.

Sara looked at the group before uttering, "believe it now. I am now the Charwoman, so please answer my question before I hand you over to the authorities." The man still frozen from shock, couldn't find any words, was then dragged from the room by some of the men that had come with the trio. Sara looked around the room before picking up the phone and gun, speaking in her own icy tone, "Kimberly send everything our Research team has been working on to my office tomorrow." Then Sara turned and left the room surrounded by the four men that came with her.
