As much as Skyla wanted to rush to Zyair and embrace him, to affirm no harm had come to him, she couldn't do it. This world wouldn't let her without assassinating her character which they were already doing.

This restlessness was coiling inside of her from the moment he said he had been attacked, she didn't know the extent of it but his life had been endangered like she had feared.
