Skyla paused for a second at his question and found confusion coating his face too. His hands never paused though and with every movement Skyla could sense tiredness leaving them.

"Because it's not your place. Your place is in my heart," she muttered, feeling the heat simmering in her face. It wasn't easy to say these words for her.

Zyair halted his hands, they slowly slid up her thighs and in one fluid movement he grabbed them and pulled her.

"Ah!" Skyla jerked forward and he caught her in his brawny arms. She was now straddling him with her face a few centimeters from his. Their eyes collided and all she could see in his was, herself.

"I thought I was in every part of you, Sky. Your feet too. All of you are mine and all of you are precious. Don't stop me from touching you, please." His words were so desperate, uttered with so much love that Skyla didn't have a heart to say no to him.

She lovingly pressed his face between her hands.
